When we arrived, it was totally empty. I liked the ambience as the theme is old Hollywood n old tape recorders cassettes. Such nostalgia all around! The staff was good n polite. The underground space is much more quiet n well decorated. The food was good specially the coolers. You can obviously spend a quality amount of time here.

One of the most happening place. I love the place a lot. There was a little less rush may be because it was Sunday but the staffs were quick and very well behaved. They served us pork lasagna and everything else we have ordered. The interior is very cozy. I have been to this place for the first time. Overall its a very nice experience.

This place is a small restaurant situated near lake,southern avenue.As per price the dishes are good.You all must try the hot buffalo chicken wings(a good mixture of extreme spice and a bit of sweetness).Overall service and staffs are good.

There is a spiral staircase leading to a lower level that has old cassettes for lamps, a wall of film noir , records as coaster and amazing people serving .Vietnamese coffee - dark roast coffee sitting over sweetened condensed milk. The price is little bit high according to the food. Their pork platter is good. I would recommend their desert where you get hot browny with double scoop of vanilla ice cream and generous amount of dry fruits and chocolate sauce. Pasta and other noodles dishes I found little blunt. So I am giving it four stars.

The pork dishes are making its name here. Even the simple ones like Pulled Pork and Cheese Loaded Fries is popular, especially because of the good quality of the pork used. Bourbon Glazed Chicken Wings, Pork Belly in a variety of flavours, Bacon Wrapped Prawns, some heavy duty sandwiches and burgers, some fusion pizzas, pastas, rice bowl and much more is there on the offer. They even have the famous South African Bunny Chow in Pork where the flavour is very balanced and is a comforting dish to have.

The food from Macazzo is not that good, its not upto the mark and it is not the worth of price, I had an extra large Pork Platter which consisted of 10 Pieces of Pork Sausages, 10 Pieces of salami, 10 Pieces of ham 4 pieces of pork belly, 8 pieces of toasted bread with butter and it costed Rs-1,100/- personally I did not like the platter, I have had platter from different places and in that comparison Macazzo was not that good, I would rather suggest if anyone wants to try platter and english breakfast they should visit Flurrys or they can also try it from Abar Boithok, they make really good platter

This is a little gem close to Southern Avenue but tucked in at the roadside. Its a small place consisting of ground and basement floors. Ambience is just amazing. The food and drinks are really tasty. Staff are courteous and its really pocket friendly considering the location.

If theres one thing I can say about Macazzo, its that it is the most reliable restaurant in Kolkata. Never have I left disappointed from that restaurant. I didnt find a second restaurant which can impress me this much with their chicken wings as they do. Its also very easy to find. Other than pujo you will get a seat comfortably. Macazzo is a very nice cafe at Southern Avenue, in Kolkata. The interior decoration is made with old films posters and also of music bands posters like Pink Floyd, The Beatles, etc. The cafe has a nice lighting and you can good photos. The food is just awesome here at reasonable prices. Lean Pork Steak is a must try.

I am writing down my experience. The seats are quite uncomfortable. The burger was dry...the bacon in the burger was old and stretchy ( please dont tell me that bacon is supposed to be like that, Ive had my fair share of bacon ) the pork in the burger didnt quite taste like anything! I was really disappointed with the burger.Lets move on to the lasagna...now the lasagna was amazing,just perfectly done! End of discussion.I hope next time i have a a better burger experience!

One of the best places to have continental. It is not a huge restaurant or highly decorated. Decoration is moderately fancy. However if you want to try real continental with perfect taste, quality and quantity then this is the place for you. Impeccable sense of food presentation as well. Additional tip- Keep some extra time in your hand because most of the continental dishes takes time to get baked. So they will take time to serve your order. However once served , you wont be able to stop💞

Its a Mecca for Italian food in Kolkata! We tried their pizza and steak- both were delicious! The Pizza was really incredible! The pasta was nice too, so was the coffee and mocktails.. And the bill at the end was unbelievable, much less then what would have cost us at, say, Fabrica Della Pizza or Brickwood Cafe.. Its a must-visit place for Italian food lovers. We would definitely be going back soon!

A small quaint cafe at the edge of Southern Avenue. One of the best in terms of food quality.

At about 3pm on a weekday, the place was empty. We ordered Peri Peri Roast Chilli Pork (₹320) as a starter which was enough for two people with succulent meat. The flavour was slightly Maggi-ish, will try some other preparation next time.Chicken Pesto Pasta (₹300) was a creamy concoction of cheese and chicken with pasta, accompanied by two slices of garlic bread. Very filling.White Chocolate Mousse (₹120) as dessert. Like icecream, but smoother. Had three scoops.The rock and roll vibe with the music and decor was relaxing, and the staff top-notch.

Honest sincere host. Great tasting food. Value for money. Not for the very health conscious. Had chicken grilled burger( two patties in one), grilled fish in mushroom sauce, boneless chicken wings, fish finger, nawabi shake, chicago pizza (with plenty of toppings- chicken, sausages, salami). All items were extremely good in quantity and quite good in quality. Fish items were prepared with Bombay bhetki whose smell might not suit everyones taste. Strategically located in the corner of southern Avenue, its pretty close to Rabindra Sarovar metro station.There are two floors comfortably sitting 50+ people.The decor and music is heavily influenced by retro rock and roll. Macazzo was always being a place of delight for us. Awesome food that makes you drool over, nice vintage rock and roll ambience is the USP here. The location connectivity through public transport though less, but a small walk pre and post good food is all worth for steak and pasta here. Me and my wife being a stake lover, it is a heaven for us with reasonable price. I would rate it far higher than steak factory, in terms of taste of food. Clicking photos for your food blog, the lighting is good as well. Go there, experience. Btw, the manager is courteous and takes care of each customer personally. A high five from us.

1st visit to this place n Im in love with its food. Till date this place serves the best pork dishes. We tried a starter n a main course. The starter was so heavy that we were full. The pork was so tender n was cooked with coconut milk and a splash of gondhoraj lime which was enhancing the flavour. A pretty average experience at Macazzo. Where as the drinks impressed, the food flattered to deceive. The wings were tasteless, the fried chicken burger was too oily and the fish Sandwich was not worth the 200 they charge.
