My parents ordered Blue Lagoon Special Hakka Noodles for dinner last evening. My parents have lived 15+ years in Malaysia and Thailand, and are discerning in their taste of oriental food. They had very good things to say about the Special Hakka Noodles!

Really nice place, good ambience. Good price, not too expensive. Its Chinese is really the best attraction. Easy to reach. Right on the main road opposite to Jadavpur University gate and just beside 8B Bus Stand.

One of the good restaurant of jadavpur once have become wrst now.. Took order n refused to. Deliver saying its 11 just after 5 mins of receiving order.. Bad behavior if the staff as well.. Didnt expect this from u blue lagoon.. Guys henceforth before ordering Or making pre paymnts just ask them the time n conformation..

I have been eating at this place since last 20 years. The Chinese food is the best here. Nowhere the gravy chowmein tastes this good. Till now whenever I am in the city this is the first place I go to eat.Improvement needed to the interiors of the restaurant.

Had been here in my early twenties once. With the woman I feel in love with, now my wife. Had chowmein and chilli chicken, and loved it all, may not be because of the food after all. The place is too small. Seating arrangement is for about 28 people around 6 tables, but if all the tables are full then waiters wouldnt have space to move. They dont even have a washroom or even a wash-basin. Service is very poor, yet food is overpriced. Price of the dishes are comparable to that of renowned restaurants like Arsalan etc., but quality of food is no better than that of street-stalls.Food : 2/10Service, facilities : 2/10Atmosphere : 1/10

Food is awesome. Served hot. The special effects are its dim light. But the food cost should have been cheaper. Its a Chinese restaurant, so pork is easily available. Its fully a.c. it opens around 12.30 p.m or 1 p.m. ideal for couples, students, family and office workers. Waiters are well mannered. The location is also very good, in the 8b, its visible from roadside, but the stair and the verandah in front remains congested. Nb: No biriyani, no bengali dishes.

Food is really good gives you the authentic taste. An advice though, i recommend to eat at the restuaraunt than to order online as the quantity is less if you order from zomato and swiggy, especially the soups.

Old and one of the best Chinese restaurant in Jadavpur

Recently visited this restaurant after my friends cajoled me a lot and yep, this place turned out to be a hidden gem at the heart of jadavpur. The location is a bit tricky and you might have to take the locals help. Mostly frequented by college students and young couples but for me it turned out to be a great place to chill and hangout with your friends.We tried Hong kong chicken, Mixed Yeamin and Blue lagoon special gravy chowmein. Yeamin was something I tried for the first time. Its a mix between meifoon and noodles loaded with mushrooms, a lot of veggies, pork, prawn, egg and chicken. Both the yeamin and blue lagoon chowmein were yummilicious. The hong kong chicken was also good but it would have tasted better if more parsleys and mushrooms were used.Overall, had a good time there. Will visit this place soon to try out their other Chinese items.
