@49 is a restaurant with full of both Chinese cuisines and Indian cuisine . It is located at Barasat, near Madhyamgram station. The ambience is okays not that much big and not that much small as well. Not focusing much on ambience because they serves delicious food thus my main focus goes on the foods.Menus we have :On Starters :- reshmi kabab- thai fried fish , and- chilly lambOn main course :- mutton- keema pulao- chicken tandoor masala- chicken biryani , and- mushroomsOn drinks :- coldrinks , and- ice-creamAll the food items were too good form starters to main course. But on starters reshmi kabab were just amazing I just loved it and on main course mutton keema pulao ( I cant able to explain the taste on words that how much I loved it)So, if you are searching for a place where you can get Indian cuisine as well as Chinese cuisines near by Madhyamgram then this is the best place to go. This is a new branch of @ 49 ... Already visited this place twice in 2 months and got stunned seeing their service . extremely delicious food .STARTERmushroom chilli dry , baby corn , fried fish . Fried fish is basically basa fish inside with crispy flavourful coating ,this is my favourite..MAIN COURSEChicken keema polao,tandoori chicken butter masala,cheese nun.This three are absolutely amazing .Both chicken keema polao and cheese nun goes brilliantly with tanddori chicken butter masala ..tandoori chicken gravy is creamy, lightly sweet and chicken pieces are soft jucy and the chicken absorbs all the goodness of the gravy . The polao has richness of safroon you will definitely feel that , and the sweetness in it is perfectly balanced .nothing much I want to say about cheese nun ,it is big in size and one is enough for a normal person .DESERT AND MOREHavent tried their desert section much ..but I want to say about dahi vada . Firstly I want to say about the presentation that will blow your mind absolutely artistic beauty. Yesterday I visited this outlet. I had few items for the menu such as•Chicken Reshmi kebabs: It was so soft and delicious•Thai fried fish: It was similar to fritters. It tasted so good with sweet , spicy chutney.•Mutton keem pulao: It was full of mutton chunks .•Chicken biryani: It had an egg, chicken and a half piece aloo.•Chicken tandoori masala : It looked so drooling. It had a perfect taste of tandoori. The chicken was properly cooked . I really loved it.• Ice cream: vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup on top.

Worst experience. Went there at 7.50 pm and ordered chicken drumstick and chicken biryani. The chicken drumstick was served at 8.35 and the chicken biriyani at 9.20 P. M that also after repeated enquiries.Now about the food the chicken drumstick was good. But the chicken biriyani was horrible. It seemed like polao and too much turmeric was given and way too excessive cloves were present, when consumed I had a burning sensation in my throat. And the chicken was way too dry. And the food was totally cold. I enquired about it and they said it was microwaved. Tough i aint no cook but still I know that microwaved food too cant be that cold. And considering the price for one plate which is 160 its was a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. As other shops(AAHAR) not this big has chicken biriyani WAY TOO MUCH TASTY AND OF GOOD QUALITY AND IS SERVED WARM.I WONT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT 49 TO ANY ONE.And one point to be noted that not only me but maximum customers had problems related to waiting time of over one hour for the food.Worst experience.Please prefer Raj Or Babumoshai.

Ambiance is really good. Clean restaurant. Food is also good and tasty. Staffs are nice person, they dont ask for tips, but you can give, if you want to give. Waiting time is very quick. They serves foods as soon as possible they can.Overall good experience.

Ambiance is really nice. Quantity of the food is good enough. Taste can be better. The service is good but a little bit late. We had chicken fried rice, chilli chicken and egg noodles. Fried rice was good but chilli chicken was somewhat tasteless and the size of each piece was really small. Noodles was good enough. Price is okay.

I had visited this place during the Durga Puja 2018.The ambiance of the place is very good indeed.Well decorated stairs and rooms, but poorly maintained washroom.But the most vital part of any restaurant - the food was very ordinary, both in taste and visual feel.Chicken noodles was priced Rs 200. It was of average taste. One would expect much better food at this price.Chicken Biriyani, priced at Rs 190 was very disappointing.It was served in a very disappointing manner - only slightly warm rice on top and cooler rice below it. The taste was again, very ordinary.One would definitely not expect food of this quality at this price. It was hard to distinguish that biriyani from the ones available at roadside food stalls, at half this price.Quality of food of most restaurants fall during the Puja season owing to huge orders.But, believe me or not, we were the only customers in that room at that time.Would definitely not visit again.

If you are looking for good foods, and I mean quality foods this might not be the best place to come. but hey , taste is awesome. Some times a bit too oily otherwise its just lit. The interior is pretty. The price is legit in comparison to other restaurants of this class. The only issue I found regarding the price , the liquid offerings costs a bit more here. They have a open rooftop accomodation too. But its better to avoid in summer and monsoon times, the mosquitoes are evil. And try not to use the washroom in the first floor. Itll work like a kill switch to your mood. For friends , perfect. For family , keeping a second option would be a better idea.

Some 10 mins walking from station.👉Ambience- Low light AC restaurant with sitting capacity of around 20-30 people. Well decorated interior.👉Cuisines- Both Chinese & North Indian.Ordered:🔹STARTERSChicken Hariyali Kebab- 6 pieces served with green sauce and salad.Mushroom Chilli- Shredded portions of Mushroom tossed in chilli flavour with cut capsium and onion.🔹MAIN COARSE-Pan Fried Gravy mixed noodles- Portion more than suffient for 2 people however since we were hungry we also ordered Paneer Polau also.Mixed. Noodles had sufficient chunks of egg, chicken & prawn.Dry Basil Chicken- Contained around 10 pieces of boneless chicken. Taste really unique and far better than chilli chicken. Moving onto the Reshmi Kabab on the starters was something which gave the excat smoky fill and literally melted inside the mouth .The Main Course has their special Mutton Korma Rice and Chicken Biriyani along with Chicken Kosha . If you are at The Kolkata Restro or @49 then please donot miss on their Mutton Korma Rice on the Main Course because your tastebuds are definitely going to love it .Our Day there ended on a sweet note with a vanilla ice-cream with chocolate sauce, loads of chitchats and giggles and i am sure yours will be the same too

The same @49 you will also find in Vivekananda Road, Kolkata. The speciality of this restaurant is its rooftop ambience which you will get in Kolkata but not here. Here the normal version or the very obvious air conditioned type of restaurant you will have. The dishes are so budget friendly that looking at your bills seeing all your foods you will be surprised. And the quality also is very good indeed. Staff behavior is nice. PhonePe offer is on now. We got 50/- cashback. Not a must go type without the rooftop part, if rooftop is on then must must must go!

I tried egg chicken chow, which was not so good but OK and tried crispy chicken, which was also OK but not very good. Besides, the price is a bit higher than its quality. I have to try other dishes to fairly decide how the place is but till then I will say, there are a lot better places to eat than this restaurant.Updated review after another day :: Chicken Biryani here is not that good and will not attract you. But try, may be you can find it better. If you dont like, I can suggest you other restaurant especially for Biryani ;) Personally, I dont like the Biryani here. I have very bad experience with @49 . Food quality is very bad & testless.I order 4 plate egg noodles , crispy chicken , garlic chicken & chicken lolypop. They cooked 4 plate noodles with 1 egg & crispy chicken was not crispy. Garlic chiken was cooked like chicken piece in cornflour batter.Their service system is bad.They serve the food before serving the plate & spoon.This is the Most worthless restaurent.
