Ive been eating out and also availed home delivery from Bedouin Sher E Bengal from almost the inception of the outlet. Im really happy with the service offered at the outlet by the staff. They were very courteous and professional. The ambience is wonderful. But one thing that stands out for me is the quantity you get of any dish you order and the price compared to it. Its always have been a winning deal for me. Will recommend one and all to visit the outlet π
It was a nice experience. The quantity of food is too much compared to the prices paid. The quality is also satisfactory. I visited there during Durga Puja Festive days, so apparently the crowd made us wait for a long time but it was worth it when we had the food. The sanitizing management and the hygiene could have been better, but it was all okay .
Great chinese, loved everything. Lacked a few items on the menu such as Chopsuey and shakes. Good for a casual meal.
The food was acceptable quality, the quantity was good however, the location is accessible as well, but the overall experience and ambience could have been better
Food quality, its taste, staff behaviour...all are very good and a variety of dishes to choose from. Also the dishes are served very quick. Some of the mocktails didnt taste as it was supposed to and could have been better. Overall very nice.
This restaurant is very special for me ....Great Ambience and the food is very tasty and yummy... Food always serves hot and clean way... And the behavior of the employees is very polite and well mannered..... I love itππβ€β€
Price is little high but the taste and quantity is awesomeππππChilli chicken is a must try thereπ
Nice food, all Chinese and Bengali food available. Nice staff. Very cooperative to your choice. Reasonable prices. Recommended.
Food was good. Staff are also behaving good
The name Bedouin has its own share of increasing popularity since years..and its rightly achieved.Though it is a multi cuisine restaurant but I had fallen in love with their Chinese preparations.Quality, quantity, service all are praiseworthy. The indoor ambiance is calm and soothing and gives a homely feeling where one can relax and savour the delicacies.Try and visit their outlets and have a treat to remember.
I visit this place very often with family, and never did they did they disappoint us. I must say its one of the best family restaurant in South Kolkata.Food is good, quantity is nice with good variety of menu items.
Located at 200/2-B Rash Behari Avenue Junction, opp. Basanti Devi College, Gariahat, Kolkata, West Bengal 700029, Bedouin Sher E Bengal is a multicuisine restuarant with a host of North Indian, Mughlai, Chinese and Bengali dishes on the menu but what sells the most is Mughlai and Chinese. You may choose from the entire tandoori deal with soft Tandoori Rotis and a Chicken Lababdar or go with Rumali Rotis and some chicken chanp or mutton kassa.
This restaurant maintains its standard quality at all times. There are a variety of food items, from traditional Bengali, Mughlai cuisine to delicious Indian and Chinese cuisine. Just love it!!!
This place share a proper location ar famous hadiah at main road. It has some thali items in muglai dish sections which is really good. Food has a good quality and quantity also very much pocket friendly..Its balcony sitting area for couple has a unique view of the main road which is really appreciable..This place definitely deserves a true recommendation..
The chicken roll we took fulfilled our expectations. I heard a lot about this place before but never had it. After a heavy shopping we really felt hungry and this place just happen to me.
Taste is awasome, chines, Mughlai & Bengali food are just fatafati..
Loved everything about bedouin .. whether its the ambience or the food or cleanliness i give it a 5/5 rating its my favourite place whenever i go to gariahat for shopping i do visit bedouin sher e bengal .. its not at all costly and quantity is satisfactory awesome taste overall loved it.
This restaurant is located in gariahat , nearby Spencers. This place serves food with good amount in terms of quantity and the quality is good. I should rate 3.5 out of 5 in terms of the ambiance and 4 out of 5 in terms of staff and other arrangements. Overall its a good place serves good food. πβ
*Follow kolkata.foodie.dibyajit at Instagram and Zomato for more drooling pics and unbiased reviews*Absolutely in love with this place. Came back after almost 6 years, the quality is still the same. Ordered one plate of Mixed Fried Rice and Hot Garlic Chicken along with Sweet Lime Soda. The food was served hot and quick. The quantity was great, one plate is enough for two. The quality is great, the mixed rice had fresh ingredients and there were enough pieces of prawnz meat and egg. The hot garlic chicken was brilliant too. 6 medium sized pieces in a medium-spicy gravy. The best part is :1. The roll counter is at the ground floor. They make great rolls.2. You will get almost all cuisine under one roof. There is Bengali cuisine, Tandoori/Kebab items, North Indian dishes and also, Chinese dishes.3. The mocktails are good and the variety is wide.4. The price is simply justified. Will come back for more.Β©kolkata.foodie.dibyajit
Food and behaviour is very good but there is no 7or 8 persons table.
The starters are good and except the very few veg items the other items are not worth the cost because the chicken items are not that great. Biriyani is good(both chicken and mutton) and the cost is a bit high comparing with the other restaurants. Over all the staff service is good in the evening but in the afternoon session they are not upto the mark. The flooring of both the floors are good the ambience is also good.
A little slow serving but food quality is good π
Its just that the place is a bit congested, but no such qualms on food.
Very nice environment. And delicious food
Bedouin -Sher e Bengal is located at the heart of Gariahat . It has two floors , the upper and lower floors are decorated by wooden and white sun mica respectively. The ambiance is so so , neither bad nor so impressive. The best part of the Bedouin is that it serves a wide range of foods including Indian, Chinese, mughlai, continental etc. Served foods are good in quantity and quality. I used to go here for Β thali no 4. It has a wide range of thali and the best part that the cooking is very tasty. Mixed chow min is also very good Β and quantity is more than enough. I think this is a place where everyone should visit .
Its in the heart of the famous marketing place at Kolkata. Its gariahat. Its a very very old food stall. Offering different kind of fast food and restaurants option in the 1st floor. Food quality average. Price is also nominal. Good to see that they ate not using the Chinese salt in the fast food preparation. Food delivery waiting tome is so so.
It could be much better.... Otherwise its okayπ
As a permanent customer for last 10 years I was expecting something great food from this restaurant. But what we had yesterday was not good at all. The fish tikka was totally dry ! And the portion of the chicken in our side dish was very small. Taste was okay but the behavior of the stuff was very bad. A big disappointment for us.
Worst food I ever had.Ordered chicken biryani from zomato and when I had the food it taste like I am having plain rice with a boiled chicken piece and the only part that somehow comes closer to the word biryani is the aloo in it.
Awesome place to dine out with families, friends..Co-operative staffs, great ambience and a good location makes this place comfortable to me..Mughlai, Chinese and Bengali cuisines available..the Mughlai thalis are superb and more than enough for one.. Ill request them to introduce Chinese Thalis too...it will definitely work out well..β₯
But one of the stuff behavior is so bad and after knowing that the authority dont do nothing
Degraded very much... Not at all recommended... Very poor spacing
Excellent item... In... Budget... Priceπ
Food quality has been detoriated drastically. It was far better before. Only good thing is the quantity of the food, that has not changed.
The food is really good here. I visited more than 10 times... Im talking about Indian food and not bengali or chinese which is also available here. The biryani is tasty. It is not dry, so people may like it more while others may like it less. The kebabs are quite good. So is the lacchha paratha. Chicken lababdar is probably the best here and is suitable for both sweet and spicy food lovers. They make the tooti-frooty with very good tinned fruits and not just jam, so, I always have that.As far as the cost goes, it is unimaginably cheap. A single persons bill will never exceed Rs.300.Cons: It only has a decent ambience. DΓ©cor is the simplest possible. You need to climb stairs. So remember that if that is a problem. The staff is quite helpful.Go early on weekends, especially at night.
They sure maintain their decades old legacy of quality food at well reasonable prices. the Indian, tandoori and even the chinese fare is above decent.
Most economical and service wise excellent Guest House of South Kolkata
Good food makes everything greatπRightly said..Best location..Very close to basanti devi college abd goria hat market..Ac restaurant..Clean.. staffs are cooperative..Mocktails have a different section..I have went therw for two times..Ordered- First time1. Chicken labadar.. :11/10Yess..that much teasty..11/102 .panner kulcha2nd Time1.tanddori tangri fry 7/102.singapore veg rice 9/103.hot garlic chicken 7/10So its a sure recommendation..
Average restaurant. There is a huge delay between order and delivery time. Restaurant on 2nd and 3rd floor but no lift available. Food taste and quality is good but interior decoration is poor and boring.
It is a mess.....lack of professionalism and miss guidance.. experience is very poor.....
1st Im talking about food, it was very goodππ. I really love it..( tried kebab & Chinese main course).. and the two seater balcony type arrangements for two people was very goodπ. The stuff & the ambiance was good enough... And the most important thing is budget friendlyπ°. And quantity is also enoughπ±π.
Very clean and hygienic restaurant. Food quality is also good. Price is reasonable.
I went to Bedouin on 30th March 2021. The food ordered was good, however when I requested for a takeaway Oreo Milkshake it was watery with no milk . Guess they had no milk thus discouraged me to order for a mango Milkshake saying milk based products will be difficult to digest. Next time I will be careful.
Very good and clean restaurant...good vibes
This was under renovation when I visited it, So only first floor was accessible then. They have lots of dishes related to bengali cuisine although its a multi cuisine, thats a treat for bengalis. Lots of fish to add to your menu.
The quality and the quantity of the food is nice but the decor of the restaurant is very bad
I visited this restaurant during the 1st week of November, 2020.First of all, their premium top floor seating is closed for the time being. Now they have plywood chairs and tables for 4/6 people. The menu has been shortened to a great extent as well.A fair warning to everyone - all Tandoor items are unavailable after 4 pm, which I personally disliked.Apart from this, everything is good.
Lovely place.Good food.
Service was okay. But serving horrible mutton. Ordered biriyani ( tasteless), and mutton kosha. Only bone was served, no meat. They took back the bone ( might have even added back to the gravy) and replaced with an even smaller uncooked piece pf meat. On reporting this, the ans was eishob ek ek din hyei thake. Overall bad experience. Do not order mutton
Great ambience, good and delicious food at reasonable prices compared to the location. I have been regularly visiting for the past 8 years and I would continue to do so. The restaurant is highly recommended.
Very good service. Rates are also moderate. And the food quality and quantity both are great
The food is pretty good. I have found the quality to be consistent and the taste is fine too. There are varieties of dishes to choose from.
As usual quality service, food, and ambience.
Bengali food with bengali culture. The place will force you to taste authentic Bengali cuisine. From Mutton Kosha, Fish Chilly to aloo posto and begun bhaja. Whatever food you get as chicken or mutton item in others places like chilli chicken, chicken kassa, butter chicken, etc. You will get all such items of Fish here.. Try out Fish and prawn roll from the takeaway counter below the restaurant at ground floor. Staff is also very good to help you out with the combination of cuisine you wish to try.
Good food!Very nice staff!...Great family ambience....
Nice use, nice environment, great food
Excellent food, reasonably priced, ambience is good , ideal for family dining.
Yammy Rollsππβ€οΈβ€οΈππ»Upto 30 Varities..
Food quality is not good, very oily, not worth of the price.
Good food quality. Good Staff. Specially I love the Bengali veg thali & also biriyani. In my point of view... mocktail price is little high.
Food quality is not up to the mark
Good food, Nice atmosphere and reasonable price.
Location of the restaurant is good, situated on 1st floor. Food quantity is very good.
Honestly, I loved this place. The menu and taste is incredibly good and the price is reasonable! Would suggest anyone.
Average food but the service is very good
The rool is not that good...
The dining experience was great. There is always hustle and bustle over there.
Worst ever experience .... Very bad quality food .... So cheap restaurant . Guys dont go by its outward show ..... Its inner ambience is not good .
There are so many Roll joints are in Kolkata now ---and, they shot to fame for different reasons. But, this is a must visit place for roll lovers who love their rolls in thin but crispy parantas (parota in Bangla) with awesome tikia inside. Nothing to take away from others --but, do try this out, too --if you visit Gariahat.
Nice food. Decent price.
