One of the worst Indian food Ive eaten in a long time ... its a shame, because when I last ate there 2 years ago, it tasted good. Over-salting food, sauces thin as water, just not really tasty. The highlight was that I was charged too much for the take-away order, I asked for the receipt, something was corrected with the ballpoint pen and the correct (more expensive) price was stated on the card. We dined with 5 people at Sher e Punjab and ate very tasty. For me, a good restaurant also includes good hosts, and unfortunately we didnt meet them there. When we entered the restaurant, apart from two guests, there was only one gentleman (probably the owner) sitting on a chair by the bar and pointing to our table from there. Courtesy are different. In the further course of the evening we were served alternately by two ladies who couldnt smile and who served the drinks, the food and finally the bill with such a listless expression on their faces as Ive never seen before. Its a shame about the good quality of the food, but since we didnt have a feeling of hospitality, we wont visit this restaurant again.
