Very old hotel.. Rooms are big but not great.. post lockdown hygiene is modratly maintained.. I guess they dont prepare any food in kitchen.. they call it from out and serve in their own plates.. otherwise service is ok..

Good hotel. Polite staff. The only issue seems to be the pricing. 1500 for 3 people single room for 24 hours. No wifi or complimentary breakfast. Although the staff offered and brought breakfast and tea from outside, we had to pay extra for it(Which was expensive : 35 Rs per plate for Poha). Poha was cold, but it is considerable because the staff had to bring it from outside, but cold Poha cannot be eaten. The staff is really polite and helpful though.

This is very old hotel. We have been going to it since long. Room was good, room service was good. Only problem is that they dont have a restaurant attached. So they get you food from outside. But theres no choice and you have to pay upfront for the food. Overall good experience.

Spacious family rooms. Overall ok. Need to improve somewhat on house keeping. 5 mins walkable distance from railway station. They are now providing free breakfast with 3-4 items but not hot all the time.

I stayed here for 2 days with a group of 12 people. I can certainly say our stay was pleasant, service was very responsive. The breakfast menu was delicious and had good spread of 4-5 options. Rooms are spacious and clean. Place is easily reachable from bus stand and railway station.Our host had paid the bills hence I cant comment on price to service ratio but overall I am Happy with my stay here.

Best hotel at Kolhapur, close to station, a hotel really worth the money. I have been here twice and this place doesnt disappoint me. Difficult to get a room, book at the earliest. Breakfast is complimentary.

The quality has degraded substantially over time, specifically the food. I have visited this place numerous time since 2002. Atleast 7-8 times. Ambience isnt great. No parking space. The food was good once, now that isnt the case. Poor quality of food and its degrading with time.The staff was good though. Service from their side was great.

Value for money. The rooms are very old and show wear. But it also means that the rooms are big and spacious. They have their own parking which is an absolute boon in this area. This hotel is 2 KMs away from the Mahalaxmi temple.

Ambience is ok.. feels more like home than a fancy hotel... The best thing is staff... Very helpful and polite staff n reception.. I went there with my girl gang n there wouldnt have been a better place.. We felt safe and comfortable

I have been staying in Hotel Samrat, Kolhapur for last 30 years. Off late I was happy to H a Samrat on Goibibo .It has upgraded Goibibo ‘S image in my mind. Thanks , Goibibo for adding H Samrat in your Kolhapur list of hotels.

The Rooms are more than average looking as they are serving over 30yrs now but the prices are budget friendly and has very cooperative staff and the S.T Depot and Railway Station is pretty much accessable from the hotel ( 5 mins walk approx. ). Complementary breakfast is also available .

Visiting since last 20 years. Staff is excellant. Need to renovate the hotel faster.

Booking the room is deluxe. And you can see the quality of deluxe room. Its too smelling in the bathroom. I think dormitory is better than this room

Hotel samrat is a good choice to stay in kolhapur city. The service and cooperative staff makes it special. It is safe and affordable.
