There was no long wait. But they price high with little quantity if the quantity is more the rate is appropriate. Almost the ambience was good and located in nearby tourist spots so it was easily accessible.

Very good breakfast. I have tried this hotel many times in the last 15+ years and their taste is maintained consistently. Good for Vegetarian and their non vegetarian needs improvement. Of you want try NV try only the chicken and Mutton rice combo, very good..... Dont try any of the tandoori or grilled or Tikka items. They are not good at it

This was my 2nd visit to Hilltop and was a kind of disappointing one considering the high standard set during the 1st. WiFi didnt work even after informing to the front desk no of times. There was water leak in one corner of the room ( didnt affect us as it was a remote corner in the room ) . The complimentary buffet breakfast was descent ( you get way better breakfast when there is less crowd ). One main irritation ( I guess the management has no control over it ) was the constant honking sound of vehicles you have to put up with as the hotel is in the main road which also happens to the busiest road in Kodaikanal . Overall slightly disappointed when compared to my previous experience in the same hotel .

People work her doesnt even know the availability of tabels and the dont know how to serve a food tandoori type chicken with no myonis and fried rice without sauce, they dont care about water refillling on tabels

Worst hotel in kodaikanal with lots of mental staf.They dont know how to behave a customer.Theres no extra bed,no good water, no bathing kit, no towel, theyve wifi but not working.no hot water in night time, hot water available only in morning and evening.the main thing is bed cover and pillow is very very dirty and bad smell, I took 5 rooms they couldnt give extra towels, really very disappointed. . The room tariff is 2600, 2800, 3800, ++++😆😆😆😆😆.The room value is1000 rupees only.Dont wast your time with hilltop towers.

Worst restaurant ever visited.. went to the hotel after hearing many good reviews. Ordered chicken biriyani, rice with mutton curry and fish fry.Chicken biriyani had only potatoes in it and tasted very bad. Mutton pieces in the curry was very old and tasted. Same with the fish fry.

Hotel and stay is very good!Their food is good too!However, the staff response and unfriendly manner is a bit irritating! They follow the perfect time of check in like 10am and it isnt sounding great! If you reach early before that time, you might need to wait at reception until the check in time! Even though the room and other accessories were good, when they turn off ur mindset with such part while entering it isnt a great sign! They gotta be flexible!

This is an awesome hotel just for the middle class people. It is in the heart of Kodaikanal which is the best one. One drawback is the internet or wi fi facility is an issue which needs to be rectified. Also they need to have more restuarant options for vegetarians.

The hotel is located near the lake, but the positives ends there.1. Parking is limited. Theres no specific parking for the hotel and restaurant. Securities present are not that helpful.2. When booking they said every room has a roadside view. We booked a family room via their website. When we reached there they offered us a room with zero view. The window was literally blocked with a vertical garden. When asked they denied their earlier claim.3. The room was average but its okay for the price. The breakfast options were also good but they cut corners at every possible instances.4. They said alcohol was strictly prohibited when we called, but in makemytrip it shows theres no restrictions. They had bottle openers fitted on the bathroom door as well.5. There is no elevator. If you get a room on the 2nd floor. Good luck.6. The staffs were nice, infact they were too nice to the point where, the guy explained how to lock the door, how to read menu, how to use the bathroom. They couldve just asked for a tip.😂A lot of training is needed for the staff and the receptionist. Will think twice before visiting there again.

Since it was raining we tried calling to give orders.They refused took take phone orders and no home delivery. They asked us to come in person. When we went in person waiter closed the door at 6.45pm saying they will open only at 7pm he never even bothered to call us inside and sit he made us stand in the rain. The food taste was horrible chicken was smelling raw and butter chicken was watery and too sweet.naan was rubbery. In short dont try this reputed restaurant. Its not worth it. Save your self respect,time , money and energy.

Terrible food.We ordered chicken rice, chapati, paneer butter masala, butter chicken and grill chicken. All the gravies were so watery and were so sweet. The chicken pieces in the rice were raw. People recommended it so much, but we were so disappointed because the food was so bad. They refused to take phone orders and when we went there to give our order the guy shut the door on our face saying open only at seven pm. Please give this place a miss.

Total disaster hotel in kodakainal.***NO TOMATO SAUCE WILL BE PROVIDED FOR UR CHICKEN FRIED RICE( One of their employee told me the sauces are mixed in the fried rice while cooking, so no more extra sauces, how childish it is)*** You are looking at a chicken fried rice and chicken noodles worth Rs.170 each and packing charges 10 extra for each boxes, and yes the 10 rupees extra parcel is similar to a roadside fastfood stall...and the quantity of the fried rice is very less(you can see the fried rice box in my picture)...kindly avoid this hotel peers...ruined my whole day :/
