Very good and clean located near Lake and very close to all the stores.

We just spent 3 nights and 2 days at Kurinji. Its a beautiful, calm cottage with fresh air to breathe. The place is kept impeccably clean. I had requested for a quiet room at the end of the property and we were given exactly that. we happened to go on a weekday so we had the luxury of the entire place to ourselves till our last day when the crowds came in. Our room was cleaned everyday . The manager, Mr. Natarajan was courteous. Gerald is the heart of this homestay. Havent seen a more prompt and courteous person - would put the staff of any hotel to shame. We wanted out food to be made with less spice and he did exactly that. The food was excellent and the breakfast with dosa and sambhar is to die for. He would also check with us before every meal . His assistant , Raj was working quietly in the background tending to the garden and to us from time to time. The location has excellent views and a trek down their property will take you to a secluded lotus pond right at the bottom of their property. Highly recommend this as a place to rejuvenate.

Dec 20 - The property is away from the hustle of the town and very calm and serene. Very well maintained, clean and follows all Covid precaution measures to the tee.Natrajan the manager was always available and very responsive. The food is very good, homely and cooked fresh on request.But apart from all this, what really defined our experience was Gerald and his A-class service. His polite demeanour and excellent attitude makes this place a perfect stay. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to travel to Kodai.

I have a medical emergency and have been following up with the hotel management for change of dates since over 3 weeks. I finally recieved a mail saying they will open my booking on booking.com and if they sell it then i can change dates. However With less than 48 hours, I just checked and found out that they never put up my the room up for sale and that it shows as unavailable. This is unfair and cheating on their part to not do anything about the booking that I have been following up for so long. There are times when a person goes through an emergency situation and I think some compassion should be shown in cases such as mine with a genuine issue and I am only requesting for a date change and not a refund. Extremely unfair that I was not even given a fair chance to sell the property on the said dates as promised by the staff. I just blindly trusted that they would have opened the booking :(

Good hospitality,calm and peace atmosphere

Its a corporate companys guest which they have placed it online as a homestay. Its a very big property with its own 10 Acre backyard. You might get a chance to see Bison if you are lucky. Good food provided at a cost and its very good. Awesome and comfortable stay

A different world within…Drove to Kodai from Chennai. The roads inside the Kodai town are too narrow and battered. The town is too crowded and commercialized for a hill station to feel relaxed. The entrance to the property is from a narrow lane. But the moment we enter inside, it’s a different world altogether.It’s an old English Bungalow converted into a resort housing 6 rooms with separate common dinning and entertainment space. There is also in house kitchen and they serve hot, delicious homely food. They have a game room with a TT table and carom board and an outdoor badminton court. There is a lovely lawn surrounded by colourful flowers. The garden extends around the bungalow.The rooms are pretty small but compact and good enough for an family of 3. It was neat, tidy and clean. The staffs were courteous and prompt in service.Once inside you do not feel the chaotic town outside and we had a relaxing peaceful stay.

Simply loved the place. If you desire a calm, serene and green place to stay, this is it. Beautifully maintained, spacious bedroom, clean bathroom with all required toiletries, hospitable staff, tasty food. The place is hugely covered with various trees and plants. Lovely ambience to chill and relax as a couple or family.

Excellent place to stay.. great English style house. Can feel a little crowded if full but the estate itself is vast and beautiful. Estate walk is a must do..

Very good place and hospitality was very good. Care takers were very supportive and its a very good place with an olden style building with wooden rooms. Food provided was awesome and they are very convenient with the menus.

What a place, there are three common rooms where one can just chill out, read some books, and enjoy nature at its fullest. There is a fireplace even which is paid. The caretaker is more then helping and always available. Its a great stay for a reasonable price. There is a tt room also if things get boring. The city is 3 km from there so the place makes perfect sense

We had an amazing stay at Kurinji Estate. We were taken good care of, by the staff. The arrangment was great, well maintained estate and nice warm homely food freshly prepared at the estate.Kudos to team Saffronstays !!!!!

Beautiful place to stay. Very peaceful, heavenly and you can get the best views at this place, even from your washroom. Very nicely taken care of... And the attendants are also very friendly

We had a nice experience and wonderful experience in this property. Everything was so good including their services. The food offered in the property was excellent.

We had a wonderful stay in this property as its ambiance was too good and the outside view from this property was also excellent. The room was also clean, Staff behavior was professional. We had a little difficult to find the property as it is on a hilly area.

Had a wonderful time. The staff is very polite and helpful and will try and do anything they can to make your stay perfect. We had breakfast on the lawns outside and wet had a bonfire one night. Food is tasty, rooms are comfortable, hot water is available on demand.

Hospitality finds its meaning here :) a beautiful cottage tucked away from the busy kodai centre with 4/5 acres of lush greenery around. Has a world of its own. Highly recommended.
