We had the best time with our guide. He took us everywhere we had researched and lots more. He helped us with our shopping and food ordering. We were so happy the first day , we called him for the next day. Such a nice, funny , reliable, honest man. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend him

Amazing day with Edwin, nothing was too much trouble and took us to all the places the guide books said to visit and some. He explained about all the places we visited and the christmas traditions, he even took us to his own home to meet his wife where she gave us traditional foods for guests on xmas eve. Would highly recommend.

Hussain was a fantastic driver/tour guide. We asked him to take my wife and I upward from Fort Kochi, first by ferry than one hour into the interior on the back roads to find a St. Thomas church that we wanted to make a pilgrimage to. He stayed with us and enjoyed the place himself. We never felt like he was rushing us as we spent over an hour in adoration in the old church. We stopped for tea on the way back (his treat) and then he took us to some fabric stores and a spice shop. He introduced us to Ketela cinnamon which we liked very much and brought us back to our hotel. He did not waiver on the price which was originally set for just the church and back and not the spice or fabric stores. He did not count the money when we left him. He also had a great sense of humor. Will request him again.

Mr. Samad just happened to be in front of my hotel (my luck, I should say), a year ago, when I stepped out looking for a tuk-tuk to take me to Aspinwall House for the Biennale. That short ride convinced me what an honest, decent, hardworking, pleasant, and gentle soul he is. After that I always called him for rides; he was always available and punctual. If he thought he could not be available, he made sure to arrange one of his fellow FTADA drivers to take care of me. With his extensive knowledge and experience of Ft. Cochin(Kochi), he always knew exactly where to get what I wanted -- and not just the usual tourist shops.He is a very intelligent man, and he understands English. But what I enjoyed most was talking with him in Malayalam, which was a bit rusty for me at first, since I have lived outside India most of my life.I had the pleasure of seeing Mr. Samad again last month when I was in Ft. Cochin. He was so eager to be available and accommodating, in spite of the fact that he was immersed in finalizing the wedding celebration plans of his only daughter! And I was so touched by his invitation to me to attend the wedding; I am so honored that I was able to attend. And I was amazed to meet a mother and daughter from UK who met Samad on their first trip to India, who came to Ft. Cochin just to attend his daughters wedding! Now that says what a good man Mr. Samad is!!!!For me now, visiting Ft. Kochi means, above all, seeing Samad - my best friend there. I wish him and all his friends that I met Gods blessings.Val

It was wonderful tuk tuk experience. It’s my first time ever being on tuk tuk and I love it. I had one good guy as my tour guide. He is wonderful man. His English is solid. He introduced me to most of the known places around Cochin like Museums, Church, Chinese fishnets etc..Shihab also hosted me to his house and introduced me to his family. So glad meeting him. Highly recommended

This is an honest representation of our local sightseeing experience which was otherwise made possible by the sincere efforts of Mansoor bhai our Tuk tuk escort who defied the incessant Kochi rains & adverse weather to give us a wholesome complete guided detour of the historic seabound town replete with its renouned churches,standing tall in all their majestic splendour...the Dutch Palace which still boasts of ancient political& cultural heritage of the maharajas of Cochin...the pavewalk beaches,ferry ghat/porbunder...the distant lighthouse,the wholesale spice market couped up in an old forlorn street,the tourist shopping hubs,the popular eateries dishing out the most relishing signature seafood cuisines.And gauging our finer tastes he landed us at the cultural hub,Greenix,Kochi,wherein we were literally mersmerised by the classical renditions of the Mohiniattam & Kathakali dancers just as were overawed by the daunting display of martial arts by the Kalaripattu performers.Infact it was Mansoor bhais welcoming compliant patient attitude,his pleasant personality and his safe driving skills that made our sightseeing experience so effortless,memorable & worthwhile despite the unflinching gloomy monsoons.

I travelled alone to Fort Cochin and Zakki helped me to find a room at an excellent price and even paid the deposit to secure the room I wanted, while I was spending a few days in Munnar. He was so helpful when I returned to Kochi, showing me excellent places to eat real Indian food. He would always pick me up on time and was very friendly and polite. I would certainly recommend Zakki as your local guide. I am returning to Kochi next year and will be booking Zakki to collect me from the airport and also trust him to book me into a nice, safe homestay on my arrival.
