Located within the premises of the Forte Kochi hotel, the Jetty Restaurant lives up to the grandeur that the outer wall portrays.I visited the restaurant for Christmas lunch with my wife and mother in law and we walked out with a smile on our faces.The Christmas buffet was well thought out and was reasonably priced at Rs.999 per person including GST, a total bang for the buck.The food was delectable and the buffet was well restocked. There were good options for both vegetarians and meat lovers alike.The staff were courteous and did their jobs with a spring in their feet, the restaurant manager was on top of things right from taking our reservation, to greeting us and making sure that his team did the job at hand.The overall setup and ambience of the place itself oozes class and would be a good pick to celebrate with family and friends.That is my first impression of this place and hope they live up to the standards in the future too.

Wonderful place, the ambience is one of a kind, the dining area has a modern take on traditional mallu furnishing.Great place to take photos.The food is very good, lot of traditional flavors, their menu is reduced right now due to covid hope to go there once more when all this is over.

We entered and the first thing that impressed me was the ambience,next a server came and gave the scan code to download the menu..all went great till then...after that we waited for almost 10 minutes for someone to come and take our order.There was no one there in the front area...we even screamed excuse me for a couple of times...well all I can say is that it was a different experience 😂..P.S the star is for the security guy( he was super polite and alert)

This entire hotel is hard to fault, and the restaurant isnt and exception. The pastas exceeded expectations and the experience overall was impressive. Great value, not unnecessarily overpriced compared to other restaurants in the area.

The Forte Kochi looks every bit inviting right from its facade and stepping in can seem irresistible. I was glad I did, as I entered the Jetty Restaurant of the heritage hotel.Lucky to have entered during the ongoing Kallu Shaapu Food Fest (till August 31st), I was in for some delightful authentic kallu shaapu delicacies.Arriving for lunch, we ordered Passion Fruit Mojito and Island Cooler to cool down from the warm sunny day that was a break from the incessant rains. Both the drinks were refreshing coolants, while being a joy to even look at!Coming to the main course, we had Chemmeen Vazhayila Pidi Kizhi and Meen Manga Curry with Kerala Porotta. The Chemmeen Vazhayila Pidi Kizhi was an absolute favourite, coming delicately wrapped in banana leaves. It was semi-dry, nice and spicy, with the prawns cooked well. The spicy flavours were an immense pleasure upon the taste buds. The Meen Manga Curry came in a traditional earthen pot. Tender Sear Fish dunked in a thick gravy of coconut and raw mango pieces was amazingly flavoursome. We finished off the appetising fare with some dessert of Apple and Raisin Pie With Honey Nut Icecream and Chocolate Brownie with Ice Cream. It was indeed a most satisfying and scrumptious feast.The specialty of the Kallu Shaapu Fest is the authenticity of the Kallu Shaapu Recipes that are being recreated by an actual Kallu Shaapu chef that the hotel have brought in. That is a commendable move by the hotel and it has certainly paid off well.No meal is complete without the service and the staff was really warm and courteous. The ambiance of the restaurant, though originally set up in a vintage colonial feel, in line with the rest of the hotel, has been touched up for the Kallu Shappu Fest with a small thatched shack displaying the special menu. The festive fervour is added to by the staff who are dressed in local lungi and tshirt as well, which was indeed an amusing sight.

Visited for dinner. Lovely restaurant, beautifully decked out for Christmas. We opted for a pizza as a change from Indian food. The pizza was really tasty and one between us was more than enough. They also let us split the toppings so we could each have what we wanted. The waitress was lovely and very chatty. Only reason for not giving a 5 star rating is that the bill took ages to come and when it did arrive it was wrong. The drinks were expensive, we were charged 500 rupees for a Heineken, which I am sure was too much. Apart from that this is a lovely place with a great menu.

Great place with great ambience. I had beef kizhi with porotha and it was very nice. Youll love it for sure. The only improvement possible would be expansion of their beverages menu. But a must visit place in Kochi! Have fun.

Lovely building, very clean and fresh appearance, with good service and some absolutely lovely food!We had the fish platter and mutton curry, both of which were fantastic. I especially enjoyed the fish, by far the best I had tasted during my time in Kochi, otherwise going to what tripadviser had recommended... Ignore tripadviser, just come here.

Its an ok place.. not so great..then not terrible.. the food is reasonably priced and has good option..All things considered, its a very decent set up for travellers to fort cochin

Good Kitilam Shop Food These two words are enough to make a bandage melam in the chest of an average Malayalee. Isnt it But go straight to the restaurant JETTY in the new Hotel Forte Kochi.Nalla posh set up is for them ‌ What a buffalo pig shop.I heard that there is a shop food fest going on there. Feel like youve won the lottery!Kidu set up. Needless to say!But it seems that the server guys put on that Lungim bunion and walk away, its really a shop! Thats it!My friend told me that we had no choice but to eat and ordered 3 curries. Dried pork, beef, banana, minced meat and fried hair He did not say anything to eat with him, but he said it was bad and said 2 national dishes.- PorotaIt was nice soft and flaky! Not only did it not give a feeling of eating cement after eating but it was nice and soft.- Beef banana leaf batterIts like a good batter, wrapped in a good batter, with a good spice! My golden Ashane! The smell of that bitch still lingers inside me! It just smells good. Taste even better.- Hair friedThey caught this spot and put pepper in it! The only fear I had was when the hair said that it would wave like rubber! There was nothing to fear! Good luck! Put peppers, ginger and grated chillies in it! That burningWho is the star in the crowd but the pig!- Dried porkLuckily I only have the memory of bringing it to the table! The star was nothing but coconut chunks, peppers and grated chilies but the red onion in it! Pork is the same proportion of coconut and chopped onion!Water dripped on my ponno de tongue.Sit down for a week to change the problem of not asking the masala chef.Listen to this fest until August 31st. Now I m wondering if I can go and have lunch today!

Fish curry is an event. Reasonable rates neither expensive nor cheap ..
