A friendly person who is humorous and has a knack of explaining the issue , procedure and recovery process. Was admitted at PVS hospital in 2016 for gal bladder issue resulting in a case of mirzi complications which resulted in a longer stay at the hospital. His presence during rounds , correction procedure being brought to notice and assurance enabled me to be discharged without any further issues. Dr.Kamalesh operated my mother for Hernea and I am glad we met him in Aster hospital. Dr.Kamalesh is experience doctor and since there was complexity in my mothers operation due to some lymph nodes identified, he was able to guide us to take correct decision and due to which he did the open surgery instead of key hole surgery and treated the hernea without putting any external object. He never gets angry, even if we negotiate about the decease, but appreciate you for the awareness/knowledge you have about your decease.I met Dr. Kamalesh for the first time in April 2019 at Aster Medcity, Kochi. I am an NRI patient undergoing treatment for Crohn’s for the last 15 + years. All the doctors whom I met at Aster Dubai and American hospital, advised me to undergo the surgery, which is the only way of recovery form the acute stage of my decease. As a google enthusiast, I browsed maximum to find any remote chance to avoid the surgery. Bcz I fear surgery and the aftereffect, like wearing a colostomy bag for long time, or may be life time. But I failed.Finally, decided to surrender for a surgery which i conveniently planned in June 2019.Situation became more critical when it started paining, since afternoon of 31st March 2019. Somehow, I managed till morning 1st April. I met my doctor at aster Dubai, who advised me to fly immediately to India, as I am bit stable, or do the surgery in Dubai the very next day, which I did not agreed. Somehow, I reached Aster Kochi by next day morning and got admitted in ICU.I met Dr. Kamalesh after 2 days, when he came to my room to explain about the surgery. With my broken/limited google knowledge, I expressed my opinions. There, I found the real Dr. Cool, and I started respecting him.My laparoscopic surgery was planned for 3 hours but it end-up with an open surgery which took more than 9 hours. Next day when he came to the ICU, he exclaimed like ‘Vijay Kumar, it was a hell of a time’ and explained the total mess he found when he opened the location, the dangerous time I have passed through etc.It shows the expertise/experience and presence of mind of Dr. Kamalesh which smoothly lead to the end game winning.Thank you Dr. Thanks a lot for giving me a re-birth.
