Very old hospital lacking basic amnesties like not even having a working card machine for payment. The cleanliness is not good and the staffs are not helpful even i was surprised that i had to remove my shoes to get inside the hospital which itself make the patient feel uncomfortable where it could be easily avoided by a shoe cover which might cost pennies and for a test it was done in the most vulnerable area as well.No proper documentation or and courtesy to hear the queries as well.Will never recommend this hospital except may be if it is unavoidable.

Ive been here with my friend and the way of their hospitality is very poor....there is no immediate treatment and no doctors at casuality.i have no idea why they even have a casualty.they always keeps us waited for a very long time and will try to make us stay calm by saying the treatment is near or the doctor will come ....very poor

I went for Covid vacation. Service was quick and service nurses where really caring and efficiently quick with the work .

It is an old school hospital. The treatment methodology and equipment are not the latest. Good for minor illness.Cleanliness and facilities are average compared to other city hospitals. Charges are a bit less compared to those ultra modern private hospitals.

One of the oldest hospitals in Ernakulam. The hospital has a homely environment, the nurses are awesome. The area is very well maintained and has ample parking space. The biggest advantage is that the hospital is right next to the main road and metro station. Plenty of buses, metro trains, autos, and cabs are available. Canteen is decent with very reasonable rates. Building is little old, maintenance is required in some wards.

Having a clean and good ambience.It has a peacefull environment with spacious reception,. Met people with great attitude., Doctors are humble.It has quality services. Affordable. The room spray not appropriate.Canteen is not so eye captureing.. affordable ..there is no fresh juices. Biriyani is not soo good neither the meals is... edible food they have lunches,snacks,, cool drinks and hot drinks and which is 24 /7 available. There is no hurry burry..The rooms have Optimum ventilation and have seating arrangements in every hall and rooms and pathways. The department has a general department which is supported by the latest diagnostic facilities which include ,Pathology Serology,Microbiology, Radiology etc.

My mother was admitted in this hospital for a couple of weeks end of last year due to some COVID concerns at the long term care facility she is currently in. This was my first experience with this hospital and would like to say that it was really good. Initially i was daunted by my mom being in a hospital i had not really heard before. We were assigned one contact person -Sister Bincy of MAJ. Being far away from my mom -oceans apart-she was really helpful. Kept me up to and current date with all information on the testing and follow up. I was relieved that my mom was in safe hands and a safe place. I would definitely recommend this hospital .

Very bad administration , local set up

Very harsh behavior and careless treatment!! There is no much staff or doctors in causality and these guys will run off in middle of treatment for attending others.. The lady in causality billing is behaving like we are taking some cashless treatment. They will not allow us to type the card PIN and will ask for the same.. Persons without cash in hand will be compelled to say ATM PIN infront of others, and when questioned, just replied as, its the hospital policy...!!Havent seen these type of hospital staffs with arrogant behaviour... Dont know how this hospital have 4+ ratings..!!

I went there for fitness certificate.they have asked me to get few printouts which was related to that because due to Sunday they dont have that facilities I mean seriously its a well reputed hospital and you are giving me such an ..... excuses due to which I had to roam arround 1hour 25minutes and waste of money too. However doctor sobin was very helpful and receptionist was nice.hospital was clean and maintained well.

The Dailysis staff was really worst ever and they are no experience too. To day they are pricking more than 10 times for My Mother Dailysis and the duty staff they are approach the patient was very Arrogant. Plz ask them to care a patient like a Human because the patient already have so much pain and discomfort .There is no free service. So plz provide a good care for the patient

Rooms have no facility.for covid patients the rooms are pathetic .room charges are exorbitant.for covid patients they charge medicine of almost 10k when we all know what all medicines are prescribed for a covid case.a patient lying in a single room has been charged isolation rent too.the system is bad and they are not concerned about the patient .they are only concerned about the money .

Always been my personal favourite. The staff is efficient and responds timely to your needs. The charges here are reasonable (must agree) as compared to other hospitals in the area. Although it looks shabby and poorly maintained from the outside, they have a well developed and functional ICU, Labour room, Lab etc.

Very bad bad hospital,i never recommend to any one. there is not even a doctor who knows the work.the doctor who did not even understand after seeing the x ray.they did not understand and had to call the senior doctor from home.they said they needed rs.300 to call the doctor from home.is this something you have heard anywhere?

I am extremely happy to say that telemedicine service in MAJ hospital is very efficient work. This hospital stand apart from the so called new gen.hospitals in eranakulam.Gynecology department deserves special mention,especially gynecologists .Rooms are normal hospital rooms dont expect one relay on international standards still neat and clean.Not that professional compared to other hospitals in eranakulam.we are having a feeling that we are not in middle of greedy people.

Hospital near edappally church

We were very much pleased with our experience at MAJ Hospital. Its been after several years we visited and sought consultation. The entire setup has changed. The hospital was neat and clean with well managed departments. we had the opportunity to meet senior physician Dr James Sebastian who is very much experienced and Ophthalmologist, Dr Sruthi K. John, really impressed with both. The staffs of the pharmacy were very cordial and timely bounded. I really recommend MAJ for all. staying too close to the hospital, i regret to miss these facilities. Wishing all the best to the hospital management and staff.

Again i am here to give review for a good service but this time not for food but for hospital service. I went to MAJ hospital Edappally. I heard so many rumors about this hospital as casualty is not good staff behavior is not good but i must say i was suffering from flu and fever and it was Sunday and Republic day most if the clinics are closed. I thought of going MAJ Hospital, trust me very fast service and the nurses are also good in behavior doctor is quite aged and experienced he asked me all the relevant questions related to my flu and fever. As i am a mother and feeding also so doctor gave me low dose medicines, pharmacy and bill counter also very fast and they also talked very politely. Hospital is very neat and clean, bedsheets, Curtains, Fan chairs overall very neat and clean compared to Renai Hospital.

Hands down one of the best hospitals in the area with a really clean and welcoming environment! I’ve gotten really good care and treatment at this hospital. I recently had a surgery at this hospital and their post operative care and nursing care is top of the notch. My surgery was done by Dr. V.V. Mathew who is a very caring and understanding doctor that works with his patients needs and provides the best treatment possible. When I was admitted the nursing staff was very caring and responsive to any needs I had during my stay. Sister Merlin, Sister Liya, and Bincy were very helpful with answering any questions I had preparing my leave documents. Overall I had a really great experience at this hospital the staff, nurses, and doctors were all very courteous and professional, will definitely be returning to MAJ Hospital for any procedures I have in the future!

We had been to this place on first December for throat infection treatment. The doctor available at casualty Dept was least responsible. Without taking his stethoscope nor checking throat, hes prescribed some medicine which resulted increasing the issue. Next day when we approach ENT doctor, they changed the entire medicine and asked to get throat swab test done. When we went to collect the results after two days as advised, the results was not ready. It took another two more days to get the same. When we called to enquire about the lab test result status, the way reception staffs response behavior was very rude. I really dont understand how can a hospital staff be this rude. Not at all an organized place. In my opinion, please never visit this place during weekends. Pl dont visit for casualty and first aid.

Always i have pleasing experience with the Staff and Doctors. Irrespective of their duties and shift timings they have helped us in several occasions.Kudos to the Management,Staff and Doctors !!!

Worst emergency department.Today (13/8/19) I had an accident and people took me to MAJ hospital. I have waited there for 10 minute at the emergency department. Nobody given me any treatment or first aid. They were telling that all the staffs are busy they cant do anything. But I have seen that 3 of them were chit chatting. Then I went to Renai medicity.

MAJ Hospital is the best hospital in the city of cochin. It gives best Health care services.good care and pleasant atmosphere I am very satisfied with the services gave me.

The casualty section of the hospital is the worst ever a hospital can have. Fresh MBBS graduates or a senior doctor who seems so tired of medical profession attend to patients. Visiting this section definitely means you will have to also a few hours or a day later, visit another hospitals ICU. Except to this section, MAJ is considerably good.
