We loved the chance to stay in this beautiful old converted house last December. The room and bathroom was spacious and cool, with a very comfortable four-poster bed. Everyone we met from the staff was very friendly -- thank you, and thanks for the suggestions for things to do in Fort Kochi! Very central location too - easy walk to the sea and many places to eat around the hotel.
Perfect location, great breakfast and food, excellent service. The whole staff was really kind and friendly. We really felt welcome and enjoyed our stay very much!
Everything was excellent specially the staff! All of them were very nice. Meena was incredibly nice helping us booking our trip.
Beautiful and historic hotel with bags of charm and character. Friendly staff. The standard room was so-so, but moved to a deluxe room which was massive and worth the extra. Breakfast is pretty mediocre and if you are very particular about needing somewhere spotless then this isnt the place for you. But overall its a lovely place to stay.
Lovely breakfast. Quite a good number of places nearby but we decided to stick to this place. Portions were quite good and the coffee was excellent. I love eating and anything that pleases me tummy gets a fiver from me
Great hotel with a massage centre incorporated. Very friendly. Ideal for old town.
Old Courtyard Hotel is Cochin’s 200 years Old Portuguese building that now acts as a very attractive heritage hotel. Located amidst the exotic lanes of historic Fort Cochin, the hotel invites travelers from all major parts of the world. The antique shops beside the hotel offer appealing surroundings to the guests who stay in this hotel. The stunning hotel is reminiscent of the majestic beauty of Royal India and guests are exhilarated by its beauty. Every aspect of the hotel including the high ceilings, the stone walls, the open courtyard, is intriguing and gives glimpses of life of people who lived here at one time.FacilitiesA/C and Non A/c roomsMulti-cuisine Courtyard RestaurantInternet facilityDinner time live Concerts - Cultural Dance & MusicDirect Dial Telephone24 Hours Room serviceDoctor on callSame day LaundryTravel Desk - Daily sightseeing tripParking area24 hrs hot waterIndoor GamesArt GalleryLibrary
Brilliant boutique hotel in the heart of fort Kochi. Walking distance to everything. Including food joints. Kashi art cafe is a 5 minute walk away. Only wish they had better in room dining options. The bakery below is also nice.
Well preserved house... gives a feel of how life was 200 300 years ago
The staff was fantastic. Very wonderful rooms and relaxing environment. Literally walking distance from everything in Fort Kochi.
Very good ambiance.Truely enjoyed with family. We all went for spending an evening.Even though we experienced little delay in delivering food stuffs, the wait was worth.
I like this place, especially the courtyard of the hotel. They sell nice gelatin. Coffee is good here as well.
Its a very good place but we order some food and it was frozen (lasagna)..
A beautiful place to stay. Great staff very helpful. Everything was clean and the food was lovely.
Great first stop on our short tour of Kerala. Rooms were made available to us early, coffee and water while we waited for them to be cleaned. Hotel reeks of colonial heritage, location cant be beaten. Do not hesitate to stay here.
A bare bones budget hotel. Comfort bed, clean bathroom and shower facilities in the room. WiFi only in specific parts of the hotel.
This is a very beautiful place.. theyre treating their guests in a well mannered way.this is a place everyone should visit.Im giving a 5 star
Excellent staff at all levels. Very atmospheric with an orchid filled courtyard. The hotel is well located on Princess Street, walking distance to many restaurants, ATMs, and the Chinese nets. Our bed and room were very comfortable, nice air conditioning, good WIFI. We only had coffee, but many people took advantage of the light lunch that the cafe offers
A nice place in prince street. Vintage, history, calm and quiet. And a breadworld in the building. Courty yard is designed well . You can read a book or can chat with ur friends there
My review is for the restaurant. Lovely breakfast options- limited but catering to all pallets. Not expensive either considering the decent ambience, goodcrowd and super sweet staff. 90s song added nostalgia to the atmosphere too! I tried Kerela Brkfast, pancakes and coffee. Also bought bread and Kara biscuits from the bakery and will request all of you to try these 5 items for sure. M sure every item on their menu is equally yummy!! Love this place!!!
It was a wonderfully calm and relaxed hotel we had lots of fun we only had a small difficulty ordering breakfast
Lovely place to stay. Clean, comfortable and help from the travel guide very useful.
Authentic colonial building with nicely furnished rooms and friendly staff. Would stay there again.
The ice creams are really good as the garden but managers are not friendly and helpful when youre trying to find a plug.
Very bad food, dont even know the basics of pizza or cheese based foods. Place is great to stay but please dont get food here.
Beautiful old colonial style property. Breakfast in the courtyard was lovely.
The tables are not cleaned and unhygienic. The place looks good but food is very costly. We ordered icecream and it was brought in papercups.
Very old and tired looking. Food offering is not great
Nice place in heritage style.
