I was very disappointed with the service from Dr Vinod B Nair. I went for my first consultation last Monday after seeing the google reviews to have a check on my salivary stone. I was given a few tablets for a week and was asked to go for follow up check up. I was very optimistic because he asked for the follow up check up and was expecting that I will have my stone treated and cured eventually. It was only after the follow up check up I realised following things about this doctor.1. He does not recommend or facilitate your treatment in any hospital. I was expecting an end to end solution to my problem. He asked me to go check some hospital that has facilities to treat the stone. What sense does it make if he cant tell me where to go next with all the experience he had?2. Nowhere he has mentioned about the doctors fee of Rs. 400 (Which is still OK. But not worth for the service he has rendered.)3. For every follow up check up, one has to be ready to pay him the fee of Rs. 400/-4. The QuickSlim is a joke and you will understand what Im talking about once you go there.5. When I brought up the points with him, he made me sit there and spent about 20 minutes trying to explain himself.End of the day with due respect to his profession, we are the needy ones who needs support. Instead of him wasting time arguing with a patient, I would have felt much better if he has shown me the path forward.

I went in for a second opinion to Dr Vinod B Nair. I was having throat pain on my left tonsils. I had issues of Tonsil stones and it was creating lesions in my tonsils is what my doctor in Bangalore said. Also they said that the stones are well entrenched in to the tonsils and if we need to remove that they will have to remove the entire tonsils. So I came in to Kochi to meet with Dr Vinod Nair for a second opinion. By that time the pain wasnt present. He examined me and said this comes and goes and there is no need to remove my tonsils etc, and gave me advice on what to avoid to ensure the stones dont form.No surgery, no medicine, but a full fledged examination and explanation of the condition. This is an advantage of a knowledgeable doctor (and surgeon) practising medicine! I saved myself from unwanted surgery

This review is not for his treatment but for a poor person who goes for his treatment with the reviews where his consultation fee is mentioned nowhere. I consulted this doctor for my ear pain at his house on a Sunday bcz in hospitals there were no doctors available and I hardly spent 5 minutes there. The moment he said the consultation fee I had a shock of my life that was 400 Rs! First thing came in my mind was It will be very difficult to consult him for a person who earns 300Rs a day !!!So I advise people better to go to hospital than consultation at home !

I visited Dr. Vinod B Nair to consult the hearing issue of my mother which she was suffering long time ago. Before, she have tried a hearing aid suggested by a hearing centre which she couldn’t use more than a week due to its irritating high volume. Also, she have consulted with few ENT specialists and all were suggested to not to use any hearing aid or do any treatment in this age as it might be a waste of money. Here, Dr. Vinod has different opinion. He strongly recommended the good digital hearing aid especially in this age because it may end up with ‘Social Isolation’ if we haven’t addressed this issue now. That was an eye-opener for me. I was suffering from Sinusitis from my 7th standard onwards. Have done many treatments in Homeo, Allopathy & Ayurveda. I have even done nasayam for the same.
