Its a space for a complete learning experience. Emphasis is on responsible learning. There is a lot of play area outside which helps with outdoor play and learning. With a very good student to educator ratio, Bhoomi kindergarten and learning community is working to create independent and thinking humans of tomorrow.

Ive been to Bhoomi with my 2yr old in a mommy and me program where in they admit a young baby assisted by its mother to be part of the school. I found this place ideal for us because of the following reasons:1. A Serene, green, peaceful, big campus cum play area which is just like the courtyards of Kerala homes. Lots of natural Flora and some harmless fauna too which kept my baby intrigued and engaged and encouraged her curiosity to explore.2. Interest of faculty to understand peculiarities of each kid, openness towards special requests and instructions while interacting with them so that the little ones feel very comfortable in this environment.3. Minimal interference in to childrens activities from adults. Children are left to explore their own drives and desires and adults doesnt force their ideas on kids. However there is a framework of daily activity that children are encouraged to participate. However Ive never seen use of force or strong language towards children under any circumstances. Children voluntarily participate most often.4. Neat and clean infrastructure. Well maintained rooms, library, Hall, kitchen, toilets, play area, wash area etc.5. No segregation of children in the basis of gender, age or capabilities. They all grow up together, sharing with and caring for each other. Ive never seen children involved in any bullying or shaming.6. A wide variety of activities. Singing, story telling, cooking, farming, crafts, games, loads of other workshops etc. The management is also open towards parent led projects ie if parents can offer to share some special knowledge that they have with children of Bhoomi, management is open for discussions about it. They also the up with faculties/resource persons from quite different fronts of life.7. Affordable fee structure8. Convenient location.9. A good philosophy and vision about schooling children to make them self driven and capable of understanding and pursuing their own passions. I think this is vital to prepare children for the kind of future we are evolving into.The only thing I want more from this school is, I wish theyll start higher grades too and hope children will be able to complete their secondary level education here.I have to travel nearly half an hour to reach Bhoomi but I take the trouble since its worth it in all sense. I wish them all the best.

Being a volunteer and spending time at Bhoomi is like going back to an ideal childhood. Lot of free space, peaceful energy and uninterrupted flow time. If creativity is about being natural, this would be it.

An absolutely favourite place of my kid!! They play and learn so organically ... Lots of nature involved ... such a lovely place to be at as parent/facilitator .. 😍
