The doctors whom I had interacted were good. But if you admit there under insurance, consider you are the scape goat. All sorts of tests will be conducted since the money will be given by the insurance company. Lot of unwanted things will be ordered on behalf of you (like gloves..etc.) which they dont use. For every visit you need to pay to see the doc. You might have visited the Doc on Monday but you have to pay if you want to meet them on wednesday. In the ward, nursing care is little on a bad side. Very lethargic team of nurses. They dont keep track of the medications that you should be having. They sometimes miss to give you the required medications. The room size is very small for the price that you are paying. Better room expected.Parking space is almost nil.The receptionist staffs are arrogant. The bill provided during discharge is not self explanatory. No detailed bill provided. Upon questioning to explain the staffs make faces as if please pay and get lost.FROM OUTSIDE IT LOOKS VERY PROFESSIONAL, but inside it is just another hospital.

We travelled from Abudhabi to kochi last January dreamed spending wonderful time with family. Everything became upside down when my son Aidhen ( 2years old ) admitted to Lakeshore due to pneumonia. He was in high flow machine support. Seeing him like that was heartbreaking to us. But the care and support my son received from pediatric department was overwhelming. We are extremely thankful to Dr Satheesh Kumar, who was my Sons primary physician. His supported us during the whole stay in the hospital, explained every single details of our sons condition to us. I had never seen a down to earth doctor like him. I would like to mention Dr Jeethu (pediatric resident) for her special consideration for my son.she always visited my son and comforted us.Thank you Nursing team..you all are amazing...Thanks a lot

All the doctors, nurses, attenders and everything around are great except for few people like Mr. Latheef ( on call manager) who is a person with zero common sense and no management skills. He never even listens to your concern and arrogantly says NO to everything. I wonder who made him the manager in such a reputed hospital. He claimed that hes been working here for 9 years and even if I complain, hes not going to loose his job.Dear management, If people like him are working here, foreign citizens like us are never coming back to this place again.

My husband had a keyhole surgery related to his intestines at Lakeshore hospital in 2011. At that time we were extremely satisfied with the service provided. But now, after 10 years, hes diagnosed with carcinoid tumour which we didnt relate to this earlier issue at all. But, by chance, on checking the 10 year old CT scan report of Lakshore, we came across their finding that there is a chance for this type of tumor in his body. But none had warned us about this at that time. We are so depressed that if the doctors had, at that time, hinted about this possibility, now he wouldnt be in an advanced stage of this tumor. So much of irresponsibility!!

I had undergone ACL reconstruction surgery from a government hospital but was not making required progress because of lack of guidance and was losing out on critical time. I decided to go to Lakeshore Hospital after having heard a lot of good reviews about the orthopedic doctors, Dr Bipin and Dr Varghese and the physiotherapy department. Dr Raju and Dr Litto from physiotherapy were amazing in helping me regain strength and range of motion which was otherwise a very difficult task. Initially I had started to lose faith and felt that my leg would never be the same again. Today I have completed 6 months post surgery and comfortably do more than 50k of cycling and feel very normal. Kudos to much needed guidance and support from Dr Raju and Litto who are not only ready to help you at the hospital but are also available on text and call to guide you. Highly recommended. My recent visit to Lakeshore Hospital made me to share my experience on this review column. Definitely a healthy person would not like to visit the hospital that too in this pandemic situation. You can come across plenty of people visiting hospitals out of them some having the best days and and some with worst days of their life. Few of them of their first day and other few last day of their life. As many says money can pay fee at the hospital but it can’t buy you health. Definitely the good doctors, nurses, availability of required testing facilities and medicine inside the hospital with timely treatment and services may bring back the health of a sick person which I had experienced in this hospital. I m happy with all the services at the hospital the doctors and nurses are very compassionate and knowledgeable along with all the healthcare supporting staff. I love to give all star reviews without Second thought from top CEO Mr Abdullah to bottom level security guards. Well managed during this Pandemic situation.. There might be more good doctors in other hospitals but i found a dedicated team and the teamwork In Lakeshore Hospital. Thank you very much all everyone at Lakeshore Cochin who made me comfortable as I never felt a language issue as I don’t speak Malayalam.

After a day they shifted him to single room that too without proper ac and it was the worst room, bathroom too even without handwash. They brought the handwash while discharging him. I totally recommend Lakeshore Physiotherapy Department. I am from Bangalore and on my visit to Kochi I injured my arm. One of my friends recommended Lakeshore to me, though i was a bit unsure I took an appointment and I was not disappointed at all. The staff is very friendly and well experienced. They are extremely patient and give time to understand the patient’s case. I would like to mention Dr Litto Thomas, he is one of the best physiotherapists i have ever consulted. Within 3 visits, he set my arm right and taught me exercises that really helped in my recovery. I am glad to have consulted Dr Litto and even today, whenever I have any physiotherapy related problems, I fly from Bangalore to Kochi for an appointment with Dr. Litto. I have a lot of confidence in him. The equipments are up to date as well, the place is very well maintained and clean. I totally recommend and trust them. They ensure every patient goes back pain free. I wish this team all the very best! Thank you Dr. Litto Thomas.

My mother underwent a surgery in lakshore hospital few years back. Instead of doing angioplasty Dr cibi Issac did CABG and he said while he was doing angioplasty the baloon did not inflate because of the manufacturing mistake of the particular product. Actually Don’t know what happened inside the operation . One of the other things is that he did not follow up properly after the surgery. That made the condition became worse. Again another day, I took my mother to the hospital as she was sick . In the emergency department she was consulted by the same doctor. Without even assessing the problem, he referred her to a doctor in the lourde hospital .when I reach there with my mother, the particular doctor was on leave for 2 weeks. Before he referred her to another hospital, he did not even ring the hospital and confirm whether the particular doctor is working or not. Her condition became bad, Then I took my mother to another hospital. They did an emergency vascular surgery immediately.

I must say that the cooperation and dedication of the doctors and Physio (especially Raju & Litto) helped for my easy recovery. The Physio rehab room in Lakeshore was best and spacious one I have ever seen. But during my last visit I was surprised to see the change in the Physio rehab. The new Rehab room is very small with only few facilities. I don’t know how it changed from a spacious room to the size of a stall room. During this pandemic how can the management do something like this to the patients there. Patients cannot maintain any of the Covid-19 protocols like social distancing in that room. Due to this last time I didn’t do my Physio rehab. We need a good and spacious Physio Rehab room. It is the responsibility of the hospital management to make their patients visit comfortable as we are paying good amount of money to them. So I hope the management will do the needful as soon as possible.

The review is based on value for money. Its not just doctors. Im paying a hefty amount as bill.Doctors: top notch. I came for my mom. Doctor is tight lipped. Not interested in talking much detailed. Felt little dismayed. But its okay.Facilities: its like a casino. Do you need casino feel in a hotel ? Well some needs. Jaguars, BMWs, fortunners just rush every 15 mins and those are the kind of ppl who can afford this hospital. And hospital is liking them too.In one of the building, they have 3 lifts of 20 ppl capacity working in parallel. They have an adjacent lift which is running in parallel. That means ~70 ppl can can always use the lift. Good design. This is without accounting stairs, escalators.Reception: good ppl.Cafe: gourmet is a good place. But highly priced. At times I felt they run the hospital for the hotel and hotel for the hospital. The bystanders too cant have food from outside within the premises. Come-on, you should allow someplace in the campus for all food. Why all the ppl have to go through the highly priced ? World these days know what is the real price of a meal which is charged 150. Why are you ripping off ppl who are already bombed ?Culture: lenient towards Islam. Should be after Dr vp shamseer aquired this firm. But anyways, you can see a crowd anywhere in the hospital in pardas. No issues on that. But they queue jump anytime. I was surprised the day before when a lady covered in black parda just queue jumped and ordered for a family straight way in front of my eyes and the cafe waitress (at reception area). The cashier too didnt care to give right priority. So just giving 1* for her. Ive been instructed to go and have coffee and cake from a table different and I have seen ppl eating just at the cafe itself and not being asked to other places.Security and racism: this hospital is a place where I felt racism exist.I happen to have my mother hospitalized and happen to visit her in the room constantly. The securities show descrimination based on skin color and they stop only black skinned visitors. Im observing this from day one. I was stopped multiple times for the same reason - while I totally agree that what they doing is right but at the same time they are ignoring all humanity by letting other fair crowd inside without asking any card or information. I stood there to see how many ppl he is doing of the kind, but surprisingly, in front of my eyes, he let in atleast 15 ppl. I wrote to the management but no response yet.Today, on 1st Jan 2018 I saw a mom to a kid who is admitted to ICU being stopped. She says my son is in ICU. And I must go. There is only his dad there. And we both are shuttling. I must say security was rude. There should be an alternative. If the law can be ignored or tweaked for so many ppl and poor/dark skinned ppl have to bend, I beg to differ it meets the quality it needs. And I foresee a down fall in few years. The trauma of such discrimination and traces that leaves behind the person is very heavy. A simple sorry CANNOT solve it. If there is a law, observe it.Gaurmet cafe: good expensive foods. Better dont go with kids. They have apple pie and all those dreamy cakes you see in American movies. Like Rammstein sings, we all live in America. And they sell it. Nobody force you to buy, but nobody force you to buy anything.Fish fries are extremely pricey. For that matter any non veg food. But food is good.Logo, design, product signs:I must appreciate the logo designer, sign boards, messages conveyed at specific locations (like on life styles etc.) and other arch principles followed. They are amazing. This is a classic designed interiors.Rooms: are pricey. Non AC regular room costed 2.3k per day.My rating is 3* only because of the racial descrimination I felt. Otherwise this was a 4*. I dont know how many centuries will it take for ppl to act normal to black ppl. Im a dignified professional too. And I have a story too. Pls respect all human beings equally. If this is the case of me, I wonder what would that be for a real poor man.

All the facilities are satisfactory one would look to make his comfortable stay at hospital. Since I stayed in house for more than 35days would like share few things which still the hospital can consider and may benefits a normal patient i.e., Hospital bills on services, tests and Pharmacy bills as outside pharmacies giving competitive rates and the in-house F&B bills as the food not upto the mark compared to the bills what comes in discharge summary. My wife was admitted in Lakeshore hospital for cancer treatment on 4th January 2021 and she died on 18th February. She was a patient of Dr VP Gangadharan for the last six years. During the fourtysix (46) days of stay variou tests were done to clear the bowel obstruction. The gastroenterologists were dragging the treatment supported by oncologists. Hence she was not given cancer treatment like Nab Paclitaxel injection suggested by oncologists of Astermims Kozhikode in the discharge summary in her disease progressive stage. I think Dr Vijesh oncologist who came for daily rounds is reponsible for this serious fault and he may not discussed with Dr VP Gangadharan. The oncologists and Gastroenterologists replied differently about the success of duodenal stent . When the Gastroenterologist told me as success but oncologists were not with the same opinion. Dr Govind told me there may be obstruction at the other end of the stent. I firmly believe that if they start cancer drugs at an earlier stage Anitha may live few more years.

My experience with the hospital service recently has been very bad. It seems to be an after affect of the Covid situation but the hospital has been really inept at making it better. There is simply no way of getting any information properly which is annoying. We cant see the doctor either and consulting has become more like internet consulting. I hope the management sorts out these service issues.

We were blessed with a baby girl in dec 20 at lakeshore hospital. During this period, staff took great care of my spouse and displayed utmost professionalism whilst handling delivery. Dr thresy George, gynaecologist helped my wife during pregnancy phase from the first day till delivery of the baby and especially during Covid-19 scenario.I would also like to convey special thanks to Dr arun, Paediatrician, for being with the baby from day one and helping the mother and baby during initial phase. We have been visiting Dr Arun on a regular intervals as we find confidence in him. He has been very caring yet very professional and never misses our calls for any telephonic advice every in late hours. We thank him for taking care of our baby.At the end, we would like to thank entire staff of lakeshore who helped us during this journey.

Dr. Dharav, Interventional Radiologist, is a extremely professional doctor and very good at what he does. PAE was done for my father and I must say it was done very well, this is a good option to try instead of TURP. I would surely recommend him and the hospital is good as well.

I had been to Lakeshore for my total hip replacement surgery . I consulted Dr Bipin Theruvil whom I should say a life saver . So thankful for the confidence he gave before the surgery . The whole orthopaedic team gives you a good service . Nurses , attenders , counter staff . The physio department works with patients very well listening to them patiently. And of course the food they serve is awesome .

My mother in-law aged 73, was an inpatient in Oncology department, and she had undergone a surgery. The doctor suggested for a series of tests (including mammogram , 2 CT scans, biopsy test etc). All the tests came negative, but she has to visit the doctor for regular checkups. Now the doctor, is asking to do a Petscan, which my mother inlaw does not have the clue what it is. The people sitting in the reception told that the actual price is 21000 for the Petscan, but they can do for 15000. She got a bit confused with this huge DISCOUNT offer, and asked the doctor about the need of this special scan. The answer given by the doctor How can you confirm that you dont have Cancer?. With the limited knowledge my mother in law has she replied that Biopsy results came negative. But the doctor was saying that, Negative Biopsy results does not conclude that you dont have Cancer. Is this is the way the doctor has to respond to a patient? I am not a specialist to conclude that the Petscan needs to be done. But the way the doctor responded cannot be justified. I am not mentioning the name of the doctor here. But when she read this review, she has to think twice, that the way the responded was right or not.. Shame on you ...I am not able to find a reply option for your first reply. Please share your email address in the post, so that I can discuss further on this matter.Thank you !!!

I am fully satisfied with the treatment and other services, especially from Dr H Ramesh. One very poor experience is about their discharge formalities. If discharged at 9.30 am, the patient wont get the discharge summary before 4 pm so that he cant leave the hospital before 5 pm. I request the staff concerned to speed up the discharge formalities at least for patients from far places.
