Pretty old bakery. Still holds its fame. Its on the walkby Burgher Street near fort kochi beach. Offers breakfast with kerala and continental cuisine. Hot beverages are available till shop closes. Offers many sweet savouries which are usually not found in typical kerala bakeries.Croissants, tart, lava cakes, doughnuts to say few.I liked the egg puffs. Cutlets and other indian snacks were a bit salty.
This is my favourite place in Fort Chocin and in general one of the best bakery I ever tried. I think in India is very difficult to find a place with so tasty and good European pie and sweet. You can find really amazing cake, everything so delicious, the atmosphere is nice and the owner is very good and polite. Really love this place. Enjoy the amazing breakfast
Cheese croissant delivering a soft crust but failing to maintain the consistency to its centre, I had to take real efforts to chew down the core. Meanwhile the cheese in the centre seem to be delivering most of the flavour, didnt feel any trace of butter.Cheese bun was fluffy and soft, having cheese shredded on top with a very small tinch of seasoning, this was perfect to go with tea or coffee.Apple tart didnt feel applicious, (wordplay). The crust and the raisins seem to be the only contributors to flavour. I loved the fact that they didnt use too much sugar to overpower the dessert. Japanese tart was just a lot of filling with sugar marinated coconut shard roast.
Soft and Tasty jam bun and tea...
I like the bakery because their service is very good n they have tasty snacks everyone will Love that n the ambience is also cool
Elite personifies the essence of Fort Cochin. This is a place to sit back relax, drink a lovely Tea/Coffee or some juices while feasting on some tasty Croissants/Puffs/Tarts.And Mr. Joy is a delightful and pleasing host with a great sense of humor..
Most of you visit historical places in fortkochi and leave, but to explore our food culture, come visit the elite hotel...The vibe, the cakes, the music...Too good...I simply can sit there, drink coffee and have cakes all day long....😍😍😍
Overrated.Tried the cheese buns which had no cheese. The Brudherbun was interesting, but nothing to write home about. Coffee was average. Waiting time was awful, especially considering that everything was already made and they just had to place it on our table. Bill was reasonable. No complaints there.
A wonderful old fashioned Bakery, Elite serves freshly baked delicious cakes, pastries, bread and savouries, all at a very reasonable price. There is also a seated area inside which sells meals and snacks. Situated on Burger Street in the very heart of Fort Kochi, it offers a quaint and tranquil haven - highly recommended!
I really love the pastries here. They open for breakfast and until 10pm. Try the sweet banana buns, its amazing and stuffed with sweet banana filling. And the Apple Pie is amazing also. They make the pastries in-store, which means they are fresh and good. I had coffee and wished the coffee was stronger though, that too after asking for a strong one. The owner is helpful and friendly. They have ample sitting in the cafe and bakery. Good place to come for a slow breakfast.
Five stars because its in the heart of Fort Kochi and its got some delicacies in the bakery!! Most importantly a great place to have a lazy breakfast and chill, or a quick breakfast before you get to exploring the rest of Fort Kochi.
Their baked good are fabulous, as is their coffee. Enjoyed the conversation and the prompt and friendly service.
Small old fashioned bakery. Sweet nan and coconut biscuits are my favourites
Arguably one of the better bakers in Kochi. If you are in fort Kochi its a must visit. They have a variety of snacks at very pocket friendly prices. Dont expect anything fancy. Its a simple, down to earth bakery with nothing exotic. However do try the place out. Its on a quiet street with no traffic.
Great cheese loaf.. and home made other items.
Amazing and beautiful bakes, but horrible service. Never ever have I witnessed such cold service.I may come back for the bakes, but would plainly come for it.
I discovered this place when looking for somewhere to have breakfast. A small family run restaurant as well as a bakery. Western style breakfast is available at a good price. I ended up going there several times. Give it a try!
Love this quaint old bakery in Fort Kochi. Lovely unassuming place with simple home style bakes and meals. Went there two days in a row!
A good place to rest and have refreshments in Princess street. Must try item here is banana bun.
Good ambience,and food
Tasty chicken puffs and meat puffs
The cakes here are so bad in taste. Only banana cake is good. The price is quite cheap but the taste is utterly bad. Everything tastes like raisins and cardomom.
Mr.James is a great guy! Wonderful bakery. Probably the oldest in fort Kochi
::Very Rude owner::Give Him actual bill amount otherwise he will took balance amount as tip
A eating joint with delicious bread, cakes, patties.
Real good bakery. Fair prices for an normally overprized touristy area. Staff is real friendly as well! A must try!
One of the best and most homely places to stay close to Negambo. Lal and Punya are the owners of the place and attend to your every need with a smile. The garden is beautiful and very relaxing. There is natural safe pool for bathing just out side on the beach. You can sleep outside in the beach side hut if you are brave. They are also very accommodating with food and will prepare what you ask.
Tasty food, for reasonable price
Good for a breakfast there or as take-away
Lovely breakfasts, lovely cakes, lovely staff - so welcoming and friendly! Thank you, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Tasty bakery but felt quite sad about the depressed fish in their tiny tank. Suggestion: give the fish to an aquarium?
Oldest one . Home made menu.
Good bakery stuff. Liked the jam doughnut.
Best patties and puffs in town, and wonderful breads. Avoid the pastries though.
Amazing food that is ridiculously cheap! Super relaxed place to chill 😊
A nice little bakery. Its run by the people who own Elite Hotel.
The food is so good and so cheap, but the owners are mean.
A small cozy place where we can get Kerala breakfast like appam, puttu, kadla curry, egg masala, etc.
The welcome you receive is lovely; the food delicious and the environment relaxed and friendly :)
Restaurant with variety bakery items , really delicious.

Food served was not fresh. And the owner was too rude and the customer service was too poor. Zero rating.
Amazing local food available for breakfast - puttu and kadala among them. very friendly lady owner.
Very rude behaviour. Not friendly at all. Negative rating for food.
There is no shop. just a board and when I pressed the door bell a man came out, looked at me for 30 seconds and then said that bakery has been shut down.
Great
Food was good but those murky aquariums qualify as animal cruelty. Please clean ASAP.
In this moment, see your bakery in German TV.See you next time in Kerala, want try your Berliner👍👍👍

Recommended for breakfast! Inexpensive bakery and tea.
Family bakery, the only one in Cochin where everything is made on site. Ideal for a gourmet break or breakfast in the adjoining room.
Hours bun!
