I took my parrots for a check-up at the Cochin Pet Hospital. Called ahead to set up the appointment and then turned up right on the dot. There was a dedicated parking next to the hospital which is great as the state of the roads do not permit parking there. Got the OP Card and waited a bit for the Doctor. Evaluation was quick and I think quite accurate. I would have liked a few more details and directions. Especially about the best ways to feed medicines etc. The only dark spot of the entire experience came up at this time. I had to wait quite some time for the meds and the bill. The wait was too long to be justified. There is a store with some common pet foods and accessories -a decent collection. Overall it was a good experience though I hope they work to streamline the billing and medicine dispensing process. Recommended.

It was the first time I visited any pet hospital but it looked decent the Dr looked very knowledgeable as well as the support staff.It is located in a good location which is not so crowded and had a private parking place with a security personnel

I stay in Chennai and came down for a vacation to Kochi. I had to give my 2.5 months old Shih Tzu puppy his booster dose. He was given a novibac shot from Chennai and our vet suggested to use the same. We enquired at a couple of clinics but they didn’t have the 7 in 1 shot. Finally when we went to cochin pet store in Panampilly Nagar they confirmed that this vaccine is available at their pet hospital and asked us to go there. We did have the vaccination record book and handed it over during the registration process and we made sure that he is injected with Novibac. The weight of the puppy was not taken and noted. All this was done by us. The junior doctor walked in asked us the weight and age of the puppy and administered the vaccine. After which we came to know he was injected with vanguard and not nobivac. The doctor was least bothered and wasn’t ready to admit her mistake. Such an apathetic lady and not fit to be in this profession. Instead of admitting her mistake she kept on arguing. The place also smells bad. I highly recommend all pet lovers not to take your pet there unless it’s a medical emergency.

Good for emergencies and maybe vaccinations. Great that theyre open 24*7. However, perhaps due to the volume of pets they have to treat, the staff have an apathetic approach and are anything but up-to-date or gentle with their methods.Avoid except for emergencies.

Really more concerned about our loving pets, and the dedication of the staff especially sreekala, hope she is the backbone.. Really.. Really... Appreciable. I always had a good experience with CPH, we used to have regular visits with our pets. Now theyve become bit on the expensive side and most of vets changed. Not sure of their standards now.

Starting from registration, till the doctor consultation was not at all organized. People who came after me were given priority to consult the doctor and i was told to wait. Each time I enquire, response was just 5 more mins. Would highly recommend to have an organized approach.However, i must say Doctor is really good and also clarified my queries in detail. Hence one extra 🌟

Had a very positive experience. More than three doctors were available at the time. There helpers to take care of the pet. They have a pickup facility with reasonable rates. Out of all the pet hospitals, they seem to be the best.

Such a pathetic hospital. Why dont they shut it up if they dont have proper doctors and staffs and this sort of negligence towards the pets. They have no concern for any animals. No hygiene no proper machinery no advancement. Flop hospital. Kindly shut it down instead of troubling the pets and their parents who comes with faith and hope.

I think dr’s are not aware of medicine. They are giving high dose medicine for a small decease. Highly expensive. Not cleaned. We wil get bad smell when we go inside. Tables are not cleaned. Other than dr’s the staff are very careless(blue colour dress ppl).

Great veterinary doctors available 24/7. Good service. Pets would love the treatment. My 4 months Lab had tick fever and these guys treated my puppy very well. He is fine now.

A well rounded Hospital that seems to provide all the required services for your furry companion. Management is top notch with the token system and vaccinations take place smoothly. They also have an in house pharmacy and pet shop (essential items). The only drawback is the lack of a proper waiting room and inadequate seating.

Went here for dog spa. Started going here since 2020. Good service and affordable. But the last two times service not good at all. Our dog did not like it at all. The crew was not friendly with the dog. Less patient. The next day there were still ticks on his body.

The hospital has all equipments for pets like cage,carriers,food,leash,treats etc. They also have a medical store inside the hospital. Its a 24/7 working hospital but due to the pandemic its working time is from 9am to 9pm. The doctors and staffs are good. The only demerit is that the hospital is very crowded.

This is an absolute failure!!!!!!Doctors have very limited knowledge about animals. I took ky shih tzu puppy due to heavy shedding ....the dr didnt even examined the puppy properly and told it was a normal allergy and gave many medicines. But after taking the medicines it got aggravated and i took her to felican from wer the disease was diagnosed rightly.Plssss dont visit this hospital....they dont value the life of our pets....so careless ....i have heard reviews from so many people....this hospital is an absolute waste.

Before I begin with the reason for the low rating, I would like to be clear that this hospital has all the needed facilities for a veterinary hospital, and if your pet has a issue, like a tick fever or short diarrhoea, this is a perfect place for your pet.However, if any disease in your pet persists for over a month despite treatment here, immediately look for an experienced vets opinion. From my experience, I felt some of the veterinarians here are not experienced enough to handle major underlying diseases, I do not blame them as it comes from years of treatment experience.Now coming to what happened to my pet, my Labrador dog got a skin issue at age 4 and we treated him for a year here. After about ten months of trial and errors, it was understood that he had low thyroid levels and we were asked to stick to improving that using medicines. He also had a wound that was not healing for long. But we were given ointments for this again and again. As the dogs health started deteriorating, we were asked to raise his thyroid dose to 6 times. 2 days later, we noticed enlargement in his testicles and when we showed him, they said he was having tumour and that it was malignant. Apparently, the tumor had started formation since he was 12 weeks old and now it had spread everywhere, even affecting the thyroid gland which reduced thyroid production. Within a week the dog passed. On research and after visiting a senior vet, we learnt that these symptoms (including un-healing of wounds) are that of the presence of tumor and shouldve been diagnosed way earlier.To the doctors, as someone who has limited knowledge about animals, I would suggest to please try to consider all underlying possibilities rather than just treating the immediate issue. I felt this multiple times but didnt know if what I was thinking was right. There was an instance where my dogs blood test result revealed a WBC count more than double the highest value of allowed normal count. Even though it gave me a doubt of presence of some cancerous growth, we were told that it is due to infection from unhealing wounds and proceeded to treat the wounds instead.To the pet owners, this is just my experience, it neednt be the same for all. But I felt I should write this here to let anyone who may face such a situation in the future know. If you see a disease persisting, please consult a senior vet. As for other reasons, for immediate response and primary care, I would recommend this place.

The only thing I need to say is a big thanks to doctor Brian Lee who saved my 50 days old labrador puppy from parvo virus which is already half dead.. I didnt have any hope that my puppy will survive but the doctor Brian Lee was very patient, loving, dedicated, responsible, found time to treat my puppy during in any rush situations..even it is very rush also he alone manages and treat all the pets their equally and confidently.. I visited this hospital by my friends suggestion thats his doberman puppy also survived from parvo virus because of the best treatment of this hospital...

I went on a Saturday and had to wait for a long time. Not sure whether that was because of holiday season and shortage of staffs. Doctor had a good attitude and patiently explained the issues and treatment.

Good hospital for all pet needs. Good parking and care. Also has a pet shop, pet hostel and grooming centre.

24-hour service. Good veterinary services including surgical procedures and inpatient treatments. Emergency cases are mostly prioritised too. Cooperative and understanding vets and staff. Most vets are young, smart snd caring.Dedicated parking lot adjacent to the hospital with decent capacity, then theres a limited parking space at the front. The waiting area inside and outside is limited too, but mostly suffices.The token system is usually followed and well maintained by staff even if the machine is out.A 24-hr pharmacy and pet shop within.The dark part would be–more or less the same for any similar facility–that the experience for the pet during an inpatient stay over treatment would be a bit dull. Naturally, pets hate to be away from their homes or alienated from pet parents/caretakers, but the looks on the faces of most pets resemble the inmates of an asylum. Helpless, hapless. The hospital has little to do with this and is mostly inevitable.This isnt a charity-based or govt-funded organisation, so the charges could be a little on the high end at least for some. And just like elsewhere, not all cases necessarily succeed. Nevertheless, the service offered is reliable.

My little kitten died because of their irresponsible treatment. I had visited this clinic to get my kitten treated for its dislocated leg. It contracted feline panleukopenia because of their unhygienic clinic set up and had a terrible and a painful death. These people killed that poor little creature. Though limping, my kitten would atleast have been alive and still breathing had I not visited this place.For people like you who see hundreds of cases like this, it might not mean anything. But for any pet owner, their pet means a whole world to them. If you cant empathise with that very fact, you people are not fit to be veterinarians.Have lost all hope on veterinary care.

There are many doctors and they all will treat your pet as per their shifts. Problem is each one will have a different approach towards the treatment and none can assure about the same. My dog was only two months old and he suffered too much. One doctor would say feed him if he is eating and one would say dont let him eat. One got him heater when he was shivering and the other doctor said dont cover him and switch off the heater!When my dog passed away we rushed to this hospital asking for help if anything can be done or if he was still ok but there was one doctor and he just looked at my dog and then without saying anything started treating other dogs and when we again asked him, he very rudely said that my dog is dead and what can he do!Shameless!People who dont have a heart for dogs should not run a hospital for them!All they are doing is minting money and playing with emotions, because you would pay anything to see your pet be okay.Its unhygienic.Its unethical.Staff is not trained. They dont even know how to talk.My dog was passing stool and I was there cleaning it none offered help!Sick place. Pathetic service. Horrible experience.

Worst hospital. Untrained staffs and doctors. No empathy towards animals. Unhygienic . I took my dog in an emergency situation. No one was caring him. All the doctors behaved in a bad manner. Charges are also very high. We will get better treatment in govt hospitals than this hospital. Those who love your pets pls dont choose this hospital.

Doctors and staff are good no complaints on that.. they have spa next door where I took my 4 months old rescued kitten for dry wash and ear cleaning, he got pan leukemia from there(I dont have any other pet in or around my flat n I stay in 4th floor so no chance of getting infected here) got him admitted to the same hospital for 7 days for his treatment, bill was a big bomb(bill I ignored) he was alright after that.. so I thought must have exposed him somewhere.. all his vaccination is done, now he is 8 months old I took him for ear cleaning and nail trimming, they sent us to the hospital side as I didnt want to leave him alone with anybody.. after that he was itchy and a day later I noticed a patch of fur above his ears missing n it was getting bigger.. I din take him anywhere this time instead gave him s proper bath with anti fleas shampoo n hes fine now.. just want to say you all you take extra care as the place isnt clean, carry thick paper or 1 time use pee pads to layer it on the hospital bed so that their paws n body wont be in any contact with that half cleaned metal bed and give them bath by next day.. take care of your furry babies..

I saw a Google review of a cats skin disease being cured completely on this hospital.My Persian cat had the same disease and I had been to two different gov medical hospitals and the situation became worse.Trusting that review I saw, I decided to come here and guess what, THANKS to the doctor, she recovered completely and looks beautiful now.Id say, if you own a cat , go for it.finding a place like this amongst all the vets trained for dogs and cows is very hard.
