Alakapuri restaurant is one of the cheap and best restaurant in Kakkanad. The food is good and the rates are very moderate. If you go there for a take away call the hotel in advance and book the food. You can expect a crowd always. Book in advance especially for Chinese items.

Well if you are living near Kakkanad you will somehow have heard this name of the restaurant.They have great good with average or less price. Which is a steal. They have both veg and non veg food available.Their porotta etc is awesome. They have lot of options in the menu , including kerala style items and Chinese.In case you try to get Parcel from here you might have to wait a lot. There will always be huge rush here to get parcels and food. It’s cause they are good.

Alakapuri is one of the best and liked restaurant in Kakkanad. They serve really good food and you always get the value for the money you pay. They are available in online delivery apps and you can also go there directly to dine in or get your parcel.

Poor stability of maintaining their food Quality and TASTE (especially). Disappoints en number of times, for example the first experience of eating a biriyani here you will rate 5 and then next vist 4 and then 3 vise versa..... Sometimes the quantity of the food also differs (great example is their BIRIYANI) As a biriyani lover i ll rate 2 out of 5 for their biriyani... Coz of the average tasting Masala, less aromatic and the biggest concern is the Chicken Piece in the Biriyani is a kind of Scam.. (Lol, Small 2 pieces). This is not the Alakapuri which i have seen years before.At present the Beef curry is still good with their well made Parotta . Customer service is also Average.

Even the fish fry felt a bit dry for my liking.I hated that I had to wait over 5 minutes just for the guy in the counter to get the payment confirmation message even after I showed it on my phone.The guy didn’t trust my payment confirmation screen and made me wait!1Star for customer service3stars for the food

Restaurant had no parking space. The washing area was not clean. We had porotta, beef fry, chicken roast , appam and tea. Porotta, Appam & Beef fry was ok. Chicken curry was not good. Tea was also good. Service wise also not up to the mark.

It’s one of the best places in kochi to enjoy food that’s tasty and reliable. Occasionally I visit alkapuri for the last 7 years and till today I never experienced any sort of stomach complaints . The food is fresh and once I reached there by closing time and everything got finished by that time. I have seen this people growing in their business. The growth is a testimony for the quality of food and customer satisfaction. The inner most chamber of the restaurant is air conditioned and its interiors are well done. It’s one place where you take anyone with confidence. ( no stomach upset) it’s my experience for the last 7 years. Value for money place. Tasty, fresh, & value for money food.

Really good tasty foods, heilights are Beef Biriyani and Chicken biriyani. Dont go in between 1:00Pm to 2:00 Pm. Its totally rush time.In price wise, they are really affordable.Cleaning is one of the issues in there.

Alakapuri defines that.Every food option at Alakapuri is value for money and there is no second thought.Parking around this place may be sometimes difficult as its placed in one of those busy areas of kakkanad. So you will have to find a place to squeeze in.Going there and eating is an experience in itself, everything is quick. And remember its always crowded. Always.

I liked alakapuri. Normally in my company everyone used to say that its one if the best hotels in kakkanad. I suggest you the single piece chicken biriyani which is very cheap and tasty. If you just wanna have a biriyani to have a taste in cheap. Please dont confuse go to alakapuri.

Very consistent food .value for money

Had to go to the civil station for some work and thought it would be a good opportunity to try out this restaurant..it was extremely crowded and is difficult to find a table..since i was alone a waiter helped me find a seat at a table that was already occupied..you cant go here if you want privacy and a good experience..just go for the food..I decided on porotta and beef ..the beef looked fantastic..black and crisp but didnt taste half as good as it looked..too kuch of oil as well.. porotta was cold and rubbery..so all.in all not the best experience

Arguably the best place you can eat-at in Kakkanad. Ive been going to Alakapuri since 2016, and before the pandemic I used to have my dinner from here most of the days. The place is always crowded even though there are other restaurants a couple hundred metres away. Tasty food for and the affordable pricing is what makes Alakapuri great.

They serve the worst beef fry. Youll never get impressed. Not much sanitation measures or hygiene are followed. I dont even know why this much hype for this restaurent. This one really not upto the mark in terms of taste, quality, and quantity. Still some people say they serve the best.
