Very peaceful place to visit. You will enjoy the fresh air and sound of nature mixed with chants from monastery. In addition, you can go around friendly villages for short and easy hikes. Roads are easy and you have options to take off road or on road tracks to the destination.
Nami Buddha is a must visit place for all Buddhist people . It is a holy place where Buddha cut off meat from his own body when he saw a hungry tigress unable to feed her cubs. We have beautiful monasteries too but all closed due to COVID. The road is all well maintained and accessible. Local organic vegetables like squash, cauliflower, rayo saag & duku are available. Fruits like oranges and sugarcane UKHU are also found. Local eateries are found in plenty too. Serene calm place with majestic views of the Himalayas if one is lucky can be seen ..
No rating can ever determine or explain its beauty and significance. However, one must know that entering Gumba is prohibited of COVID infection risk to inside students and teachers. One can only walk behind , but visiting the Tiger feeding ancient temple is allowed. There is a parking issue down, climbing steps can be exhausting to some so do take the ahead route and walk directly behind the Gumba. Namo Budhha rises above Roshi river and some pieces of clouds, this place has never disappointed anyone.
Its a beautiful place. It can be reached within an hour from the busiest place to live, Kathmandu. There is belief that a hungry tigress and her cub were fed by a kind hearted prince.Actually its a school for the Buddhists people. If you are hectic from your daily schedule it is the best place for calm down and you will enjoy to do meditation. There is another best view of Himalayan scenic beauty. If you love to watch Himalayas better to reach the place before noon. You can be fascinated with gauri Shankar range. You can roam around the pine forest which its covered by religious flag puff Buddhist spartan and diagram where spiritual slogan are written.
Went for a lovely hike from Dhulikhel to Namo Buddha and it was magical. Clean all the way and the great view of hills to support your hiking needs. There are stops along the way with plenty of refreshments cater your hiking needs. Namo Buddha itself is very clean and very peaceful place too. Visit at least once to view the super view from this Gumba and the various statues of Buddha here.
Amazing place. The tale of buddha feeding flesh from his thighs to feed the hungry mother tiger with 5 cubs comes alive.
Whether is amazing just after rain.
I have been told this was exactly the place that Buddha sacrificed himself for the tigers to save them from hunger. Its hard to get there as the road is small and slippery but its worth it. If you buy the lungta (lucky flag) and write your name on it, the boys will help you hang it on the trees to wish your family good luck. It costs us 2000rs. Dont need to bring lunch as there is always good cheap food in any restaurant outside.
Visit this amazing Buddhist shine, that lies on the top hills of Nawabouddha Municipality. The monastery is peaceful surrounded by nature, and witnesses blissful sight of Panauti and Dhulikhel.
Great experienceLove to visit again and again..❣️❣️

Great peaceful place
Very Beautiful place
Such a smooth place to relax and get calm
Very good
Good destination for sightseeing
An oldest place for worshiping Buddha. It is said that a prince fed his own flesh to a hungry tigress who was unable to give milk to her cubs. Thus the place became sacred. Little awhile ago there was only a shrine depicting the prince feeding the tigress but many Tibetan style Buddhist heavy buildings have been built. There is even seems a confusion as there are two shrines depicting the eulogy. But a great place to take a hike especially good after a good rain, one can see many beautiful mountains. there are plenty of eateries and cafes.
Meditation can be done peacefully
A place worth visiting. A monastery that welcomes people of every religion for visiting. The scenery from the top of the hill is enjoyable as much. Filled with smaller gumbas the place is filled with holy sites. Though the parkings are to be done on the road with no proper parking facility. The roads that lead here are well gravelled as well.
Beautiful place in the mountains
A great place to visit with family or lived ones. You can plan a ride or picnic, you will enjoy anyhow
Nice and peace place
Extremely peaceful, calm and spiritual place near Kathmandu. Its one of the important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Nepal. It is said that in previous life, Buddha gave his body to starving tigerss. There are guest houses as well as hotel for night stay.
Awesome place for refreshment ...
Clean and safe although a tight place on season
Spiritually best place of Buddhist followers for all one who want to visit such peaceful place
Majestic place.
- Good place for visiting & peace place-Gumba, temple-buddhist
One of the Remarkable place I visited. Good inspiration for my art. I am disturbed by the way devotees throw money on Buddha. We don’t throw coins even to a beggar.
Top spiritual place.
What a great discovery! The place is stunning, surrounded by nature. Excellent hospitality and tasty healthy organic food. Strongly recommended.

You get the experience of being at a giant, awesome Tibetan temple at the top of a hill. At the top of hill, people try to seek peace. Also the surrounding hills and forest are so welcoming that it is a favourite place for picnicking.
Best
Religious place with kindness
Ghumba is closed due to covid 19
Namo Buddha is the world famous Buddha monastry of Nepal. It is also listed in world heritage. It is the big statue of Buddha in one of the height of Kavrepalanchowk. The beautiful scenary of this place is outstanding.
Outstanding place to hang out and make your mood fresh. And you can enjoy the greenery view from here. This place has Buddhist Monastery and is a quite peaceful place. Great for photo shoot and taking rest. Youll find a picnic spot towards downhill.Despite all the major advantages i would like to say that dont hang out around this place after evening.
Feel the glimpse of nature with Buddhist monasteries. You will feel relaxed and calm while you will reach there at the top.
Best destination for hangout, View,Weekend, & peace zone
