Its really good.Fish curry is done with aikoora (king fish). Very tasty and even fresh.Great service as well.Its for serious foodies.And prices are reasonable.Lime tea is a must try after all the heavy meal. You will love it.Its a suprise to land in a good hotel in Kannur.Better than raravis, sahibs grill and many others around.Another suprise was they packed food in banana leaf. Wish if everyone was so responsible for health and eco friendly.They dont have have parking. If you enter from munishawaram kovil or railway station side, then cross mvk and go a little head on the left side take the lane which has auto stand. You will find parking in the complex or a little head.Or go a little head straight on the mvk road and park it on the road side, wide road.

At the outset, even though the hotel is old but the hygiene is way better then other hotels. Chicken biryani and prawns are good we didnt had a chance to get parotta and other dishes because we went for lunch. Worth to try but parking would be bit difficult.

Its not a cozy place, but the food is so tasty that you will forget about everything else. Rate is nominal, and the staffs are also good. For vegetarians you could try the Gobi Dry Fry n Manchoorian, you wont get an authentic north Indian taste, still its good. Their chicken Biriyani(Thalassery style) and Kerala Porota has been featured in NDTVs Good Times. The only problem that you would experience would be the lack of parking area, exclusively for the customers. And at peak times youll have to wait till u can find a place a sit!! For biriyani/Kerala Porota lovers this is a must try place!!

Poor service and ambience. This was our first time at mvk and the waiter did not bring menu to us. He announced a few dishes and we ended up ordering wheat parota and pepper chicken (which turned out to be some chicken masala). The food was bland and the lemon tea tasted like Biryani masala.

Had ghee rice and chicken biryani. Huge in quantity, quality is below average. Ghee rice was the worst I ever had. In the name of ghee rice they are serving plane biriyani rice without any flavour. I doubt even they missed to add salt also. Mixed vegetable curry had along with ghee rice was also below average.
