The property needs to be renovated very badly. The property is located on the cliff and the sea view is just breath taking. It has got balconies from where you can relax to the sights of fishermen fishing, gentle waves and soothing sea wind. The restaurant is a decent one and rhe property is highly recommended for outdoor events. But the rooms in the first building needs to be renovated very very badly. I had the night mare of my life due to closet and the bath fittings in Room number 203. The bed rest seemed very untidy and I found it difficult to sleep at night. I really hope the hotel gets renovated and then the hotel would be a great get away place. Not to forget the amazing staff the property has! Would really recommend post this hotel is renovated.

It is a great place to stay if you like to watch the sea roaring from your balcony. Fantastic views and ambience. Great white pillers placed in the vicinity for clicking classy photographs.Room itself is quite alright. Bathrooms are clean. Food is okayish and costly.

No geyser in wash room and hot water availability is negative😡. Coffee maker is not provided. A/C was pathetic 🙄 works for 5mins and automatically off for 10 mins... Hope it was set like that. One day before going to hotel through phone they have informed that pool is open and can be used that too from morning 09:00 to evening 06:00🤔. But after reaching there no maintenance done recently and water was in bad quality😤. Morning a person come to clean the pool and informed us pool is not accessible due to Govt orders.Evening snack chicken Pakkavada was good. Breakfast was very less.Overall waste of money.It can be considered as a normal hotel.. Resort in its name is too much 😳

Descent hotel for family vacation...!!!One of the best hotels near payyambalam beach in Kannur.The sea view and the attached cafeteria is super good. Quite affordable and neatly maintained restrooms. Courteous and well behaved staff.....Good location, service and the place was comfortable but rooms was small for the price.....The breakfast buffet is a South Indian breakfast which is quite nice.....The owner is exploitative, we checked out and when we came back after 2 days since we needed a room he quoted a much higher price.....No hindi or english channels on the TV.Also, there is a spa but very costly, ₹2500 for 1hr.....But overall worth staying here ....!!!!!

Property beautifully located on a cliff close to arabian sea which was the primary attraction and sadly the only great experience we had here. We stayed in deluxe room which was quite spacious but furnitures were ages old and most of them were not in good shape including the uncomfortable mattress. There were no sanitizer or even no liquid hand-wash were provided in room. Television was not working because of unsubscribed Tata sky package, which was one of the very basic amenities we expect before check-in to a hotel room, nevertheless to say its a 3 star hotel.!Staff behaviour was good but felt lack of professional training. Complementary breakfast was also good but they have charged Rs.67 for two 1-Ltr water bottle which costs you Rs.26 outside, 258% higher for drinking water..!!We conveyed our feedbacks to them as well. Hope they will work on it and provide a better experience in future.

Great views and ticks all basic boxes. No Wifi is a big letdown. Food wise also needs considerable improvement for the price theyre charging. The staff is very nice and courteous though. They promptly send my forgotten document via courier.

My friends wedding was here on 17.04.2021. Loved the place. Good place to conduct functions. Better to conduct outdoor functions at evening,as its hot during afternoon.Anyway nice place,peaceful & also you can get nice view of the sea.

The area of resort is apt fr enjoying beach and other activities .We booked a non ac room on July 26th.But the facilities are not apt for rate.Room is not clean.The water from bathroom spills to the room.The breakfast is not upto the mark.The lift facility was not available when we stayed there so climbed all the stairs to reach the room.But they charge twice the mrp for their service.We just ordered two mineral water bottles which were charged 67rs.(image of bill follows).Intotal it was not a good experience.

Worst hotel i ever stayed. 3600/- rupees and got a lodge like facility. Never ever take rooms before seeing the room. Towels and bedsheet are worst. No maintanence done. I stucked inside the bathroom. Ac not working properly. Goodnight mosquito repelent is provided.

The hotel is well located, right by the ocean and I loved the view. The rooms were well appointed. There was sufficient space to park our car too. The cleanliness could be improved further. The bathroom did not have hot water (at least did not flow for the 10 mins in the night that I tried). Overall decent stay.

A hidden gem of a resort sandwiched between two sides of the Kannur Cantonment area. Go for the Deluxe sea facing room which is completely worth the money. If the view of the sea wasnt enough, they also have a beautiful infinity pool which makes for exceptional insta posts.The staff is very welcoming and courteous and will take good care of all your requests.The breakfast is quite satisfactory and the restaurant offers a good sampler of North Kerala cuisine.Youd really not want to go anywhere else when youve got that immensely beautiful view of the sea.

Location is awesome, right on the seashore... if you get the room on the ground floor, you even walk on the lawn and sit on the chairs by the sea side and can enjoy the sunset!Room was a bit dusty and the property was not as clean for the price we pay!

Another beautiful resort in Kerala that i had stayed in. Located at the most perfect location in Kannur, with the balcony giving stunning views of Rock beach. Food menu not only has great varieties but also the quality and taste of food is really good. The management staff members are really polite and hospitable, take great care of every small need of yours. My room ac stopped working in the middle of the night, the staff people worked so dedicatedly towards repairing it, couldn’t do it for some reason, they not only apologised in the morning but also wavered my dinner charges. What a polite gesture!! Great experience staying here, absolutely loved it

Stayed a while ago. They forgot my reservation but said they had available room. The room they gave me smelled of mould and vomit. I asked for a different room and I got one with an AC that blew swampy smelling air into the room. I asked for a room change again and finally got one that smelled normal but the electrical socket wasn’t working. I tried to bring up the issue with the manager who was offended that I complained and walked away mid conversation. The food was boring. The pool was nice in the morning when it was just me and my family but then this creepy hairy local in a speedo showed up and tried getting too friendly and we left. Checked out to a different hotel that afternoon. Also the locals in the nearby town are unnecessarily condescending and hostile.

Such a cute wonderful beach view resort. The balcony has an amazing sea and sunset view.

When we call the hotel a 3 star, it should have its own grace, features and services.... I booked a standard AC room with balcony however the ambiance inside the room is not worth even for 2 star. The cupboard looks old and the lighting inside the rooms is little shady. The most disappointing instance was when I ordered the dinner.... I ordered manchow soup and it was completely different than expected. Beside I ordered malai chicken which was completely bland. The parota was thick, hard and tasteless. A 3 star restaurant will have basic amenities on the dining table, here I didn’t see the cutlery on the table at all.Pool is not accessible due to COVID-19. Spa is little costly compared to other spa within city.Overall the stay was fine, food was pathetic. Do not book or visit with high expectation of being a 3 star resort.... since the whole service they provide is stay and restaurant.

One of the best beach side rooms in Kannur. The sea is just a foot away from your room. During this corona times too they have maintained to ok level . Not superb but very good . Will recommend to others too

Its an old property but the highlight is the sea facing balcony . The room although was old but was cleaned properly , the bathroom fittings had stains in it especially the toilet , the linens which were provided had one torn in it . Overall I would suggest the management to undergo a renovation of the rooms.

Foul food served in style at a great ambiance.

Mascot beach resort is a descent old property. My check-in was not very smooth we had requested for an early check in and the staff could not accommodate us. Till 2pm the staff put us in a room with no AC twin bed a room which was in maintenance. One we checked in to our sea facing room the view was breath taking . The room was very huge n clean. The staff is good friendly and helpful. However the food options are limited they will make you opt for buffets only. The dinner buffet was good , but lunch buffet pretty mediocre would recommend to go n try local restaurants. The property is in close proximity to the major tourist destinations. You wont get local transport easily around hotel location so its advised you hire a car through the hotel. The swimming pool was not functional it was full of mud. There are no other activities in this resort. Its a good beach facing property to spend a laid back holiday watch sunset n sunrise ....
