The best place in all of Kalyan! My favourite! A big lake in the center of town and has a good jogging or walking track lined with trees and ample sitting areas. It has boating too. A great place to hang out with friends, have a walk or a stroll and most importantly, feel relaxed! It has two entry gates for citizens. Has a kids playgarden and an open gym for adults.

A very beautiful lake ,nice place to visit all times especially in the evening..cool winds flowing refreshes your mind..lake is surrounded by a Jogging track with number of trees.complete pollution free place situated at the centre of Kalyan city.Greenary, chirping of birds,fishes in lake, dogs,puppies,cats holds your heart to connect to creatures of nature by forgetting materialistic word outside.,😍

Poor lighting on the street, maintenance is the issue, still a better place to hang out. No hotels nearby or any outlet inside. But evening ambience is very good. Again, lighting should be taken care. Lake is well preserved

Its under construction for now, so filthy all around. The workout equipments are all broken and getting removed. Might get replaced with new ones later.

Beautiful lake in the vicinity of Kalyan. Near to Kalyan railway station. Open for walking and exercise have open gym and proper walking track. Cycling is not allowed on the track beside lake.

It is a recreational place with a jogging track, children play area and exercise park + equipments around an artificial lake with lots of different types of fishes inside. Though the overall aura is good but it can be overcrowded at weekends and public holidays. It is not wheelchair friendly. People who visit there are insensitive towards exercising people like they will block your way while you are jogging etc. Another issue is the vulgar acts by couples in some dark areas of the place. Though the security system is good because the guards constantly ask them to stop such activities but these young college students do not listen. Many times small children ask what are they doing and it is very embarrassing to parents. Lots of space to sit and meet up is also available. Fish feeding is also allowed.And not to forget Corona is taken as a joke here because everybody are without masks and no care is taken by authorities to stop it and fine those who are not wearing masks.

This point called lovers point. This place is vary beautiful at sunset.

Kala Talao is historical place, there is history behind this Talao.Kala talao was one of the first and oldest community Lake in kalyan. Now this talao has been redeveloped. Now you can have morning walk around this talao. During night time there is led light and water show.

Kala Talao is one of the scenic places in Kalyan with a good track for walks and jogging, outside gym, playground, memorial all around the artificial pond. The only problem is couples getting cozy which can get awkward when youre with family. Otherwise its a great place to hang out.

Its cool & nice place. There is jogging track. The place is equipped with instruments for work-out. In the morning & in the evening the place is crowded or a little over-crowded. In early morning, here, people enjoy their workout, meditation, pranayama and daily exercise. Old folks enjoy their morning walk. In the evening, people mostly enjoy the scenic view & beauty of the lake, breezes. There are concrete benches along periphery of the lake. For kids, there is special space & instruments.

The pond and the area around is simply beautiful and perfect for early morning and evening walks.The whole walking/jogging track around the pond is approx 1.3km per round.Cycling is not allowed in the premises so its idle for walking and running without any obstacles.Also there are 3 - 4 open gym corners in the premises which is descent.

One of the best and very few places in Kalyan to be at for a walk, mornings are energetic, evenings are peaceful.

Entire water drained, lake cleaned then refilled... Theres beautiful garden and a footpath constructed all around the Lake...Nearby cities: Thane, Dombivali, Ulhas Nagar, Mumbai.Coordinates:   19°1445N   73°752E

A big lake garden very rear to find these days which is surrounded by lovely plants and trees, excellent pathway of about 2kms and interesting Balasaheb Thakkrey museum, exercise equipments, Light fountains, boating is also there. Crowd varying from different age groups can be seen sitting, walking, taking, playing 😊 Lovely music is played in the background.

Its good for a walk. One can just sit and enjoy the serenity or walk with a group. In the evening there is music and fountain of water with coloured lighting. Just the view makes you forget your stress for time being. You can go boating, but its currently not available dur to the pandemic situation. Feeding fishes is not allowed as it pollutes the water.

Local Boys does fishing.Fish food is available at the entrance of the garden for minimum price.Sitting places and benches are there at the edge of the Lake.For children and adults there are various slides, gym equipments in the garden.Boating facility is there but as of now nothing is there.Overall a good place to sit, relax and jog.

Coolest to have your home balcony or window having this lake view.. 1 of the Biggest lakes in Thane-Mumbai-Kalyan areas with a single round around lake will cover distance more than 1-1.5 KM may be.. View is fantastic. Ideal for your candid moments shoots. Joggers paradise. Play ground for kids everything under 1 umbrella. Last to mention - Balasaheb Thakare Monument is also built on the edge of the lake. Have fun guys.
