If you are in Kalyan west and have some spare time then visit this place. This is an Historic fortress with Durgamata temple. This small fortress was used as a check point for ships passing through the nearby Ulhas river creek. 30 minutes duration is sufficient for spending time at this place. Flowers and other puja items are available at the entrance of the temple. However if you wish to offer good quality sweets or some special Prasad and puja items it is suggested to carry such items along with you as nearby places are not that good. Temple timings morning 7 am to 1 pm and evening 4 pm to 10 pm.

Its a historic place having relevance with Maratha Emperor Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj who built this fort having Durga Mata Temple on the top of it. The fort is located at Creek / Ulhas river gives access to beautiful scenery view during sunset. Temple is very beautiful and clean you will feel peace and blessed just by entering in the temple. Its a good quick 1 hour gateway near to Ganesh Ghat (Riverside). Nice place for Darshan of Devi with family

Durgadi fort is a very temple place in kalyan there is a temple of mata jagdambe it is very beautiful and historical temple in kalyan with very beautiful view of river(khaadi) and kalyan. There is so peace in temple visit in evening and enjoy the place with darshan. Temple timing close at 10pm you can come earlier and enjoy the beautiful of kalyan.

Navaratri is the best time to visit , as those 9 days thousands of people visit to worship goddess Durga. Also jatra is arranged at that time for entertainment. One can enjoy lot of rides and can buy lot of things from small vendors .
