Veer Gogaji was the supreme disciple of Gurugorkhanath. He was born in the village of Dadreva in Churu district in Vikram Samvat 1003. The birthplace of Siddha Veer Gogadeva is located at Dattakhera Dadreva in Churu district of Rajasthan, where people of all religions and communities come from far and wide to pay obeisance. The Khami Khani Muslim community calls him by the name of Zahar Pir and comes to the place to pray and pray. In this way, this place is a symbol of Hindu and Muslim unity. Medieval great Gogaji earned the respect of Hindu, Muslim, Sikh sects and became famous as Pir by the name of a secular folk god. Gogaji was born to Bhado Sudi Navami from the boon of Guru Gorakhnath from the womb of Bachhal, wife of the Rajput ruler Jaber (Jeversingh) of Dadreva (Churu) Chauhan dynasty of Rajasthan. In the Chauhan dynasty, King Prithviraj Chauhan was followed by Gogaji Veer and a famous king. Gogajis kingdom was up to Sutlej St. Hansi (Haryana). [1]According to folklore and folklore, Gogaji is also worshiped as the god of snakes. People call him by the names of Gogaji, Gugga, Jite Veer and Jahar Pir. He was one of the prominent disciples of Guru Gorakshanath. Among the six Siddhas of Rajasthan, Gogaji is considered the first in terms of time.Gogadevjis birthplace is at Dattakheda (Dadreva) near Sadalpur, about 250 km from Jaipur. Dattakheda belongs to Churu. His horse stables still exist on the birthplace of Gogadeva and hundreds of years have passed, but his horse stirrup still exists there. There is also an ashram of Guru Gorakshanath at the said birth place and there is a horse riding statue of Gogadeva. Devotees come to this place doing kirtan and pray for the vow by offering prayers at the temple built at the place of birth. Even today, Gogaji is worshiped for freedom from snakebite. The snake sculpture is engraved on stone or wood as a symbol of Gogaji. It is a popular belief that if a person affected by snakebite is brought to Gogajis Medi, then that person becomes free from snake venom. The fair is held in the memory of Gogaji to the newcomers of Shukla Paksha and Krishna Paksha of Bhadwa month. In Uttar Pradesh, they are called poison pir and Muslims call them Goga pir.Gogajis Samadhi Sthal, located in Gogajis holy Dham Gogamedi, located in Nohar subdivision of Hanumangarh district, is about 80 km from the birth place, a unique symbol of communal harmony, where a Hindu and a Muslim priest stand. From Shravan Shukla Purnima to Bhadrapad Shukla Poornima, the fair of Goga Medi flows with the samadhi of Veer Gogaji and the shouts of Goga Pir and Zeera Veer along with the incessant stream of devotion to Gogaji and Guru Gorakshanath. Devotees go to the mound of Guru Gorakshanath and offer the head, then come to Gogajis tomb and cover it. Every year lakhs of people do special worship of Matha Tech and sticks in the temple of Goga ji.In view of the immense respect towards Gogaji in the folk culture of the state, it has been said that Khejdi, village to village, Goga Veer Gogajis ideal personality has always been a center of attraction for devotees.Devotees ask for wishes on the smoke of Guru Gorakshnath located in Gorakhtila by shisha. Scholars and historians have considered his life a symbol of valor, religion, valor and high life ideals. The number of devotees increased on Panchami (Monday) in view of the fair held during the Bhadwa month at Dadreva, the birthplace of the folk deity Jaharveer Gogaji. Apart from Rajasthan, devotees from various provinces including Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat are reaching the fair.
