So far 24 bodies have been donated from Jodhpur city in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). This includes 9 women. In honor of the deceased donors, their families and these personalities who took the oath of body donation will be honored by AIIMS.This unique initiative is being taken at AIIMS to promote body donation for medical research. A total of 84 donors have donated their bodies in the anatomy department of AIIMS. In this, 24 bodies have been donated from Jodhpur city alone. So far this year, more than 10 bodies have been donated in AIIMS. Most of them are from Jain community. Now in AIIMS itself, a program will be organized on 6th May to honor the families of these 24 deceased donors. All India Institute of Medical Sciences Jodhpur (AIIMS Jodhpur; IAST: All India Institute of Science Jodhpur) is a medical college and medical research public university located in Jodhpur, India. Like the five other All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), it was established in 2012 and operates autonomously under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
