Great working at the studio. I did work on different hand and machine embroidery techniques with Ashraf ji, working with him was very educational and helped me improve my craft skills. I learned a lot in a very short space of time. Whole team is wonderful and supportive for one to be more creative. Cant wait to back soon.

I took the embroidery and block painting master classes with them and Im so glad I did it. They are super professional with a really well structured classes where you can learn everything you want.They also give you the entire materials you need for working on the different things.If you feel like learning embroidery, block painting, etc dont hesitate about taking classes with them, this was one of the best things I did in India

Amazing silk screening experience at a highly creative and innovative studio. Did a silk screening workshop here which was well explained and simple to do but so exciting ito possibilities. Loved every moment of this, a wonderful place to experiment with , learn and try creative things

We took a screen printing workshop and it was an amazing experience. With the variety of designs available, workshop was personalized according to our requirement and that was the best part. Highly recommended if you are looking for a workshop related to textiles.

An owner and staffs are very nice, they kindly teach the students. Just 4 hours, but it is special time.

I would highly recommend a class at Creatis for anyone visiting Jaipur. My husband, 7 year old daughter and I did a private block printing class in December. It was a fantastic way to get to know more about Jaipur and one of its unique art forms while also being creative. Thank you very much for a wonderful morning.

I had an amazing time in the Hand embroidery 5hr class! The instructors were patient and excited about their craft. I fully reccomend for anyone interested in embroidery- and curious about the work that goes into beautiful Indian clothing and beading.I was the only person in my class on a Friday which I liked because I could choose the pace, but if you’re looking for a social experience it might be good to reserve with friends!

I took different courses during 2 weeks. Sharing the time with the masters and getting to know their art was a wonderful experience. It is great to have these open spaces for anyone willing to expand creativity and learn something new. My only recommendation would be to have a short historical/theoretical introduction (even a postcard with this information would be nice), for pro level classes, so you can get a wider scope of the craft. This country and its millenarian culture has so much to tell and to learn from. I loved the experience. Thank you so much for letting me be part of this creative squad!

Such a great experience! Two friends and I visited Jaipur from SF, and luckily got the spots in last minutes. (But I recommend book earlier online it’s super easy!) We spent 3 hours at the Block Print Master Class.From explaining the process, choosing colors and patterns, and actually getting hands-on printing , Mohit and the local experts were so professional, patient, engaged and encouraged us to be creative on our stoles design - they turned out to be GREAT! We were really satisfied with the quality time and reasonable price.We also met some local student/artists that worked with the studio to create their art/products...The place is a bit hidden but once you get in it’s clean and organized. If you have an extra few hours, I’d totally recommend you to have fun at the workshop!

This has been one of my highlights in India. I really enjoyed being able to learn about block printing. Everything is very well organized and set up, it is a very relaxed and learning environment.

My sister and I had an amazing time learning how to do the famous block printing of Jaipur. The Creatis team was very helpful and taught us a lot about the art of block printing! The class was very personalized and allowed for our own creativity. Highly recommend and hope to come back and learn some more.

The explorer block printing class at Creatis was the highlight of my trip to Jaipur. Mohit and his staff were helpful and encouraging throughout the class. The classes are great for people looking to learn a new skill and for those just looking for a fun break from the the tourist track. I highly recommend it!

It’s an amazing place to polish your skills or get a hang of what you are going to do if you are choosing a particular hobby.. They have talented people to teach you and give you a thorough knowledge in the field..

High recommendation for anyone who wants to learn about designing , pattern making , printing , embroidery ,cutting and stitching etc . Mohit and Anjana really work hard to make you learn whatever you wanted to . I took 1month course in Creatis all I have given them is small fees and all they have given me is utilisation of that learning throughout my life . Thank you so much Creatis .

We only had a limited time in Jaipur and we really wanted to have a go at block printing but didnt really have enough time for a day trip to Bagru. The half day class at creatis was perfect for us and great value for money. The class led by Mohit was really fun and well organised. After choosing our designs and colours we had time to practice before working on our final fabrics. The technicians were so helpful and patient with all our questions and it was great to attend such a hands on workshop. We found creatis through instagram and within an hour of messaging we were booked onto a class the next day - a great value class that I couldnt recommend more!

I attended the Creatis Photography workshop and it is by far the best thing Ive done all summer. Creatis is not only built in an environment oozing creativity, but is also a very productive workspace. While teaching me the basics of photography and how to efficiently utilise my camera, they also taught me the importance of alignment and composition.The founder of Creatis, Mr Mohit Thukral was an absolute gentleman and instantly made me feel at home at Creatis. The instructor, Mr Aasif, was immensely competent and very easy to talk to and learn from. The class, which was supposed to last for an hour, went on for an hour and half as we discussed the nitty-gritty of photography, lenses, cameras, aperture and shutter speed. And with a working space so vibrant and full of beautiful, fine linen, Creatis proved to be a photographers paradise.Whats incredible is the fact that Creatis offers a vast variety of other incredibly interesting courses, from Block Printing to Electronic Circuit, which happen all throughout the week. A Creatis course is certainly a must do activity in Jaipur if youre looking to expand your horizons.
