Jhalana Safari Park is the best place to witness leopards and many other wild animals. Its a fantastic place away from the city. Enjoy a day from the hustle bustle and evidence the wildlife. You can see leopards, hyena, blue bull, deer, peacocks, monkeys and many other creatures. Come and explore the hidden wildlife area of Jaipur.I visited Jhalana Leopard Park for morning safari. I saw deers, beautiful peacocks, different types of birds. Leopard was spotted but it was very far away and was visible through binoculars only. The most amazing thing about this forest I felt is the landscape, very different from other national parks/sanctuaries.Booking online is advisable as there are very few seats and at the counter for current booking the chances are minimal. All the hotels/resorts are little far away like 3 to 4 kms but if you are looking for a accommodation very near to the Safari Park ,you can book an AirBNB which is just 5 to 7 minutes walking and is a very good option especially for morning safari. Nearby there is one such option available. They have place for 1 or 2 people as well as a hall for group of 5 to 6 people. Restaurant options are also limited nearby, if you request the host at the AirBnb, they can make delicious home cooked Indian Lunch & Dinner at very reasonable cost.If you are taking morning safari, please collect the boarding pass around 6:15 AM from the counter. This needs to be done in case of online booking also. If you have taken evening safari, you need collect boarding pass around 2:30 PM.Drivers are playing two roles both of guide cum driver. Hence, they are accommodating 7 people in a gypsy, added advantage if you are a big group. There are three zones in the park but you dont get to choose which zone you visit , they take you as per their information of recent leopard sighting. In our safari, we visited two zones.Infrastructure & Administration is basic and needs lot of improvement & alignment but no doubt this place is getting its share of popularity day by day.
Great palace for wildlife and forest lovers.

|| Jaipur Jungle Bankura ||A short day trip to Jaipur Jungle to get rid of a boring lifeAnd the fun of walking in the forest during the rainy season is different Bankuras Jaipur Jungle is an ideal place to get out of the urban concrete jungle and spend some time detached from the secluded nature. One of my favorite places to hang out There is a forest of shawls all around, and the sweet dirt road of Bankura sometimes peeks through the chest of the forest. If you are lucky, you can catch deer or wild elephantsThe history of the Second World War is intertwined with this Jaipur forest Within 10km of the jungle, you can see the wreckage of the airport, including the vast runway of Pierdoba Airfield, built by the British during World War II. This place is currently under the Indian Air ForceIt was built in 1942 by the then British government in the jungle as a base for the 462D bombers of the Allied American Air Force. The air base was mainly used for attacks in southeastern India, Indonesia and Japan This airport was used from 1942 to 1945 A few villages and a handful of people in the jungle The runway of the airport is now known as Chatal to everyoneThe distance from Kolkata to Jaipur forest is about 120 kilometers Take the Arambagh route from Kolkata in the morning with your car or bike, first reach Arambagh with a short break, then from there take the Bishnupur route and walk 40 km to Jaipur Jungle. There are many resorts, including Bonalata, for lunch or overnight stayCome and visit Jaipur Jungle to get a break from this monotonous life There is no crowd at all Beautiful natural environment, shared some pictures
