One of the best South Indian restaurant in Jaipur. We visited on busy Saturday evening, it was packed and we had a prior reservation, we waited for around 10- 15 mins. Ambience of this place is nice. Staff is polite and very courteous. We ordered some Dosas and Dahi wada along with Paneer tikka( they server North Indian dishes too). Food was awesome. We loved Dahi wada.As we were full, couldnt order the Rawa Kesari Halwa. so our server (Manish) bring us some complementary sweet. He also suggested us to visit during weekdays as on weekend it very packed.Would love to go again very soon..
The service was snail slow, it took them over 20mins to deliver the order and then another more 5 mins to deliver other dish, which was a total bummer as we had finished with most of our food. When the order came, the dishes werent good, paneer was too chilly, Chana was raw, roti was good as well as the quantity of the food but no point of having either of the two if the main dishes are not upto the mark.More over when this was reported to the person incharge, he just ran away from the table, instead of apologizing or even accepting their mistake, no response....Utterly dissapointed with the service, wouldnt recommend anyone who is coming from outside from travelling or even anyone who is hungary and want do off early eating food!!
Good food. Dal Makhani and Paneer Makhani were particularly tasty. I ordered both South Indian and North Indian Thali. Both were good. The former needs to have a better balance of solids and liquids. There was just one dry vegetable dish in it. Rest all were liquids. Taste was good. The poori was good and different. I guess they mightve added sooji to it. The food wasnt heavy. I think paneer dish didnt have onion or garlic in it. But it was still tasty. The interiors are cozy. Very traditional South Indian Hindu environment.
I didnt like the taste of this place. Sambhar taste sweet which is bizzare to me. Its better to have something on the food truck available near statue circle if you are planning to have some South Indian. You will be pleased.
Its really the best theme based restaurant depicting somewhere the cultural and traditional view of Kerala and south india. The taste of the food being offered here is the best you must visit if you get chance to VISIT jaipur or Delhi .
Service was good. The food was not up to the expectation . All the dosas were not cooked enough . The chatni was salt less .The ambience and service were good
Nice place but not that great as its over hyped. Good for South Indian dish lovers. Bit on the expensive side. There is no parking for cars. Have to park it on the roadside. You can also order online from Swiggy, Zomato and avail great discounts. North India, Chinese food, South Indian Thali, North Indian Thali, Meal combos also available.
Fancy shop, bland stuff. Big brand but worst service. Its like naam bade aur darshan chote. We went for family dinner there but highly unsatisfied service. Food was also not upto the mark. The staff did not even bother about providing good service even after giving them multiple feedbacks. Although it is renowned south indian restaurant but I would recommend to rather have North Indian food. Only Tandoori platter was average.#poorservice #unsatisfiedcustomer
Live review :Currently sitting in restro for Family dinner.About Service : The service is snail slow, it took them over 20mins to deliver the order and then another more 5 mins to deliver the sides like chutneys and sambhar, which was a total bummer as we had finished with most of our food. When the order came, the dishes werent good. My order was not served in a single go its like, they deliver in a scattered way with a gap of minimum 10 mins.Food Quality: All Dosa’s were served as cold as room temperature.Coconut Chutneys was served post having dosa’s and idli...Utterly dissapointed with the service, wouldnt recommend anyone who is coming from outside from travelling or even anyone who is hungary and want do off early eating food!!LET’s see how manager will accept there service quality or will he apologies or ran away from the counter in short will avoid it.
Good place to go out with family and friends. Very well mannered staff...... very humble, down to earth and polite people around.....
It is a superb Restraunt, very hygienic. And the food was also very yummy. I will visit here again for sure.
Such great interior and vibesPeaceful ambienceLoved the food and service
I just loved the authentic taste of South Indian dishes, but if you are going there for North Indian dishes then do visit there before 3pm because they dont serve North Indian dishes after that. The interior is eye catching ❤️
1 Star for poor management, better to visit this place after table booking only, they cant even handle the Sunday footfall with proper waiting list outside. People who booked for the table coming 1 hour after the booking time were getting preference over walkin customers who were waiting for their number from half n hour to 1 hour.Food was not as good as Delhi branch (Near C.P.) Ordered Mysore Dosa which should be spicey and same was mentioned in the Menu. But it was filled with potato which were actually sweet. Not recemmended.at all !!
Good food. Amazing experience. Yummy dosa.
Mismanagement among employees. Pinning up blame on customers for every issue raised. Curry had less gravy and server explains us this is how curry is prepared across India! Booked through Dineout app but before even mentioning about booking server gets the bill and blame us about not mentioning the Dineout booking when we entered restaurant or before bill is generated. They really have to work on training their employees. On bright side, food was served quick.
Lovely ambience, yummy food , well behaved staff, valet parking and quick service. A must visit place specially for South Indian cuisine lovers.
Very polite and courteous staff. A bit cramped but as far as South Indian food is concerned, its the best so far in Jaipur.
Excellent food.. We are jains and prefer only 100% jain food, Mr. Anand helped us with the food selection nd the sabjis he suggested and made were just wow... Awsome pace, cool ambience a must visit place for JAIN FOOD.. Will definately visit there again
Ultimate taste of South Indian food. An authentic taste.
Had South Indian Thali. At Rs. 350 /- plus taxes, its over priced. Thali is certainly not South Indian by any stretch of imagination. They put garam masala in curries, dal, rasam just to teach you a lesson for ordering South Indian Thali. Not recommended for anyone. If you are South Indian, dont go near this restaurant.
I was there few days ago this place is brilliant and atmosphere is peaceful
Sagar Ratna is a familiar name. We had been to this chain earlier in Jaipur and other cities. This was first visit to this restaurant. We had south indian dishes which were served with three kinds of chatne apart from sambhar. Taste was ok. The scoring point of restaurant is its interior. Price is slightly on higher side but may be lower than Dasprakasa which charged same price about 3 years back. Parking may be an issue so you need to park your vehicle wherever you find space.
Good food.....south indian taste ....nice service
Good quality and service
It is great place to have south Indian food. Lovely atmosphere. We loved it
Expensive with okay taste
Good food.Nice ambience.
Good Staff and Delicious Food
Food quality is okay. Menu is extensive but instead of authentic most items are fusion and assortment. Ambience is good. Located in conjusted street.
For Authentic South Indian food...
The service was very very prompt and courteous! The ambience is warm hued and welcoming.Didnt have to wait too much for the food. Theyre very attentive and extra chutney and sambhar is offered while you polish off your dosa 😁The off-beat recommendation will be the Idli chaat, its a south-Indian twist to dahi papdi chaat. They have valet parking which is a boon, given that it is located in an area that is bound to get congested as the evening rolls in.
Too much occupied, had to wait for good 50 mins to get my food. No management at all. Highly disappointed by the staff. All of the staff was confused. No one came to take order until we asked them. Ac was leaking and there was too much water on the floor. Ambience is very nice but rest everything was disappointing.
Too expensive. Taste is average. Not the best place to have south Indian food
Not expected such bad service and low quality food with such ambience and crowd.would never recommend Chinese from here.chilly planner was bland and veg chowmein had a burned smell with sour taste. Also caused issue in payment even thou payment was done by our side. They did receive the payment later but the behavior of manager was impolite and and out right rude.
Nice food reasonable price.
It has an authentic taste of south indian it also has north indian and chinese not only it also has the south indian cultural interior and atmosphere
Mysore Masala Dosa is a must try.
Beautiful place beautiful food beautiful service 💕💕💕Staff was supportive... Food was extremely yummy n ambience was sooo asthetic ❤️
Decent South Indian for jaipur standard. My recommendations are Mysore masala dosa and Kesari halwa
Food with good taste but service is little slow. Avoid going on weekends as there is huge rush. However a good place for south indian dine in.
Awesome south Indian food. Taste is good but costly.
Below average South Indian food.
Sagar ratan jaipur is doing good. tasty food. And staff was cooperative and good behavior. But at gurgram totally opposite of jaipur food and staff behavior.
Worst mealBurnt fried idliWorst sticky packef cold dosa with insufficient sambhar!Pathetic food after 40 min waiting
Good place good quality food.
It was first time to have a South Indian cuisine in dinner. Felt comfortable. If you are visiting Secretariat, High court, Medical & health, yojna bhawan, AG office or somewhere in C-Scheme it would be a better place to dine.
Very slow serving.. no time value of customers.. customer waiting for ½ hour for table and ½ hour for order.. food is not tasty at all. I recommend not to visit the place. Very disappointing 😔😔
Had breakfast after our morning safari to jhalana leopard park. Lovely food. The Rasam, vada, Idli, rava and plain dosa were all good. The chutney was great. Overall a happy experience.
Dont order food via swiggy in Sagar Rantna Jaipur. They deliver wrong items and missing orders and like and have no resolution available.
Yummy service is some what slow
Great ambienceFood shockingly was averageHope they get bk to same flavour
A very nice place to eat. Cuisines are good to taste.
Had taken take away Idlis for kids. Must say quality and size was better than Delhi Sagar Ratna. Also service was quick. Need to look for parking nearby.
Service issues... Late food serving...
Food is great.. ambience is beautiful.. staff service is 👍
Just an ordinary Sagar Ratna restaurant. Ambience was good.
The resturant does not confirm the booking at dineout and offers a small discount instead, really in convenient to book from the app.
Good food ,nice ambience and good service
Nice decor. As always more than average food.
Value for money - 2/5Disappointed with slow service.
Best dosa and idli available here
Good, not excellent in terms of southindian food. Excellent ambience, a good neat and tidy restaurant.
The ambience here is great, the staff was friendly and polite. We tried honey chilli potato, plain dosa, masala dosa and mysore masala dosa. Only thing I didnt like, the red chutney served with dosa was sweet (I like it spicy). Nonetheless, food was great, fulfilling and tasty. Recommend.
Best ever restaurant.
Bed experience no good its not Sagar Ratna taste vaste of money in the name of South Indian food
Its a nice place, intially the street that leads to this place will make you think is this place even here!? But the ambiance is good, classy.
