An outstanding home stay in the heart of Jaipur. The first and foremost point of this place is how safe one feels here. The family lives in the same compound and I highly recommend it for solo travellers as well. The food is a gastronomical feast. Himanshu who is the owner of the property also runs a boutique on-order delicious take away menu. His meat and chicken pickle is hot selling in the city. The staff is courteous and will make you feel at home always.

It was a great experience. If someone is in Jaipur and want to enjoy some amazing taste then this place is the right one for you. Its a homestay & certainly away from the hustle-bustle of restaurant. You can enjoy being in a home like environment & get the best food possible. Its a foodies delight in tranquility of home. Also, the owner couple is really welcoming & polite.

Have been staying at pratap bhawan each trip to jaipur . It is a beautiful homestay with beautifully done up rooms and food. Recently they started there cuisines and trust me it is mouth watering. The bhuna gosht is to die for. The kebabs are out of the world too. Himanshu and deepti go out of their way to look after all your needs and its lovely to talk to himanshu about his wildlife stories . Would recommend pratap bhawan to all the travellers to must visit this serene homestay .

PRATAP BHAWAN : MY NEW FAVOURITE PLACE TO SATISFY MEAT CRAVINGS!I had not eaten meat since the last three months (when the lockdown began) and recently I was suddenly craving a lot for some great non-vegetarian food to hog on.Just at the right moment I came across Pratap Bhawan’s page on Instagram and saw a picture of some super scrumptious looking kebabs and I was instantly tempted to try them.I did my research thoroughly by reading about their venture and without thinking twice, I placed an order with them for some of their signature dishes.* FOOD : 5/51. MAAS KE KEBABS2. MURGH KE KEBABS3. MAAS KA ACHAAR4. MURGH KA ACHAARBoth the kebabs were smoked & shallow fried with cardamom, cloves, red chilli and flavoured with garlic, green chillies & fresh coriander. They were EXTREMELY TENDER & DELECTABLE and the mutton kebabs truly melted in my mouth.Coming to the pickles, this was the very first time that I tried meat pickles.These pickles have been made with their secret spicy & tangy family recipe which is cooked and preserved with varied spices & mustard oil.I honestly loved these pickles and I have stored them in the refrigerator to eat it with every meal.* PACKAGING : 5/5The packaging was done efficiently and following all safety measures.I also loved the jars in which they sent the pickles. Highly recommendable for a awesome cooking experience.The host Himanshu and Family take care of each and every thing.Was there to as a reviewer for travelling spoon and tried his signature chicken kachari sula, baigan, gatta curry, safed aloo, dal and kheer.

Hosts are excellent. The rooms are very well maintained and well furnished. Most importantly very clean and excellent.

Fantastic place to stay: The Rathores make you feel totally at home, the help is amazing, and the cook is fabulous :). We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Whole heartedly recommended!

Very welcome, quality cuisine prepared by the owner, but noisy at night because of the proximity of the road (continuous horns), the railway (whistle of the train). Earplugs are available in the rooms but not everyone supports them ... it is still a very good place to stay in Jaipur.
