Great place. Best season to visit this place is winter when the boating activity is carried out in the Narmada river and also there laser show in the evening. The second best time to visit is during heavy rainy when the flow of water is very high but boating and laser show is non operational. The natural marble Canyons formation is amazing and must visit. There are many stores on the way to the falls where one can buy beautiful sculpture carved out of marble at reasonable price with little bargaining.
A must visit place if you are visiting or travelling to Jabalpur. Offer a majestic view of Narmada river cutting through marble rocks one can enjoy waterfall along with ride in the rope way which takes you from old falls to new falls over the top of the falls along with variety of shopping options specific to Marble rocks. There are many great restaurants near by where you can enjoy good food along with many street snacks😋😋😋.
Nice place, also known as Niagara water fall of India, there are many view points set up by the government you can choose any one to get view of water fall. Also right now(aug 2021) construction work is going on so expect a bit of inconvenience.Their is also a rope way to enjoy the view price is 80 rupees and timeing of rope way is 10 am to 6:30 pm.The place is in Jabalpur, and advised not to visit during monsoon as boat rides which gives you real pleasure of this beuty are stopped because of rising water level.
Dhuandhar Falls as the name suggests is full of water and smoke created by the water vapours😉. A must visit if u are travelling to Jabalpur. The falls are on the Bheda ghat near Jabalpur..its also famous for teh marble rocks.U also have the facility of the cable car at the bhedaghat which is very comfortable for people unable to walk much or have paucity of time.
The relation between rocks and river is clearly visible from the Dhuandhar water Fall. The flowing sound of Narmada river creates a deep resilience and peace in the soul of anyone. Those who are in the search of peace and have been tired from the fast developing and populated city must once visit the place. It was also my first experience to this beautiful beauty of nature.MP Government has assisted in developing this place as a tourist spot. But there are still to do many.At last, I only say visit the place and enter the world of naturalism..
Dhuandhar falls are located in the Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh. The beautiful falls cascade down for 30 m and are also one of the most visited tourist attractions in Jabalpur. The river Narmada flows through the famous marble-like falls, narrows down and plunges into a waterfall so forcefully that it creates a bouncing mass of mist and results into the Dhuandhar falls. The plunges are so powerful that its uproar can be heard from a far-off distance.Viewing platforms have been constructed along the side to facilitate proper views. Make sure that you do not cross these railings. There lies a bed of white and grey marble rocks below the water that further enhances the whitish colour of the waterfall. The view is spectacular and the surroundings are always chock-full with tourists wanting to get a glimpse of the falls.

It was a beautiful Water falls with marble Rocks. But poorly maintained. You cannot visit this place peacefully. The total area is covered with thousands of Illegal shops.Due to shop and sheds the natural view of this beautiful place is becoming local Bazar/market that too dirty .No direction boards or guiding rout map to reach to Falls between the crowudy and narrow market place.Local government do not bother for maintaining this natural beautiful place in Jabalpur MP. Even in VIP car entry gate local touts are sitting and asking for three to four hundred rupees instead of ₹200/-,no officials available to report. In Nutshell you cannot enjoy the Nature .
Waterfall just ok but some around Area very beautiful
Its a wonderful place, kind of a natural wonder. Wonderful place to hangout with friends and family. Best time to visit this place is in the morning as it is an open space and the sun will surely burn you down if you go late. Then try visiting the place in evening.
Amezing creation by nature.
Natures Beauty and its essence lies here...The endearing serenity flares when sun hits the river. The fascinating vicinity is a must to rejoice and hitherto impeccable.. Take a look at some of the glossy pics.....

Place is beautiful.Marbel made items to be purchased with bargaining. As they offer 3 times more rates.
The white marbles appears spectacular when the moon light falls on it and give it a silver appearance. Once in Dhuandhar dont forget to have a pleasure boat ride in the valley of white marble which appears yellow during sunsets.
A lovely place to spend time with your loved ones. If the weather is pleasant then this place is awesome to visit.
If youre a waterfall or lake lover then this place is good for you. Be here in summer so you can bath here because of low water level otherwise in rainy season you cant go in there. And if youve good taste in hand made sand products, home accessories and other eyecharning home decorating things then a really cool market is also here.Info.:- Closing time is 6:00pm local
My experience is awesome. Waterfall is so beautiful, Ropeway is make me excited to went newbhedaghat. Restaurant food is good there. So overall my experience is very good to visit here.
Dhuandhar Falls is like mini Niagara Falls of India, while Bhedaghat is mini Grand Canyon. Difference is color, Grand Canyon is red, and Bhedaghat is white. Take a boat ride on the River Narmada, especially during sunsets and witness the white marble turning yellow. The boat driver will tell you many tales of the place and entertain you. Dont forget to buy a souvenir at the end of the trip.Things To Do at Dhuandhar FallsBoat Ride: Take a boat ride on the River Narmada especially during sunsets and witness the white marble turning yellow. The 6 km boat ride takes you through narrow gorges guarded by sheer cliffs rising to a height of 100 feet and is an experience that should not be missed. The rides are suspended during the monsoon season due to heavy water inflow though it is regularly offered from November to May.The rides are available at INR 100 per person for a 45 min ride.Cable Car: You can access the cable car services from both the east and west side of the waterfall. You can also access it from the one available at Bhedaghat if you are willing to see the other side of the falls. The ropeway facilities start from the eastern bend of the river and take you all the way to the western side.It cost around INR 85 per person for a complete trip. The ride is offered from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM.Picnic on the riverside: The ambience of the environment here is very aesthetic, and the sounds of the falling water are like music to the ears. All this makes it an ideal picnic spot. Just get some food and enjoy with your family or friends.Shopping for marble: Various marble statues of Hindu Gods, handicrafts and trinkets are also available for sale to the tourists. You can get a customized nameplate or keychains from the vendors as well. Just order them before going to visit the falls, and by the time you come back, your items will be ready.

Beautiful view of Narmada, crystal clear water, the green valley, the marble mountains and many more..,as the name itself says ,u can clearly see dhuan, the smoke like formation above the waterfall as you can see in the picture below, but believe me-the real view is far soothing than the picture😎
Wonderful tourism place situated in Jabalpur. Very high waterfall with white marble rocks is there to amaze you. From vehicle parking as you go to waterfall you will get an amazing experience of walking in fair of crafts.
Waterfall is okay.. and you can spend your time in any season. In Rainy season, the height of fall reduces due to overflow but be cautious and dont go near the bank of Narmada River. This particular area should be develope in garden and artwork can be placed there.
A beautiful place between the rocks, you will always be listening the soothing sound of the waterfallTook a ride on a boat, the person floating the boat sharing stories in a very interesting manner as mentioned by that person, Film Ashoka was shot there.Meanwhile on boat, you will see monkeys trying to cross your boat but yes don’t be afraid, it’s not even harmful.Don’t forget to carry sunglasses, sunscreen, cap or hat or yes a water bottle.
Simply the best place in the city!! And when you can enjoy the view from a height on a cable car... believe me...nothing like it.
Nice tourist place .
LocationAway from city , esaily accessible by 4 lane road with road side amenities every kmEntry / ExitAs of 2020 there were 2 gates , 1 which was official takes charge upto 100 rup or you can wnter for free from the unofficial gate like locals do...Be-awarethere are local post guards who charge extra by seeing your vehicle if out of MP...make sure you ignore themPublic gatheringAs of Dec 2020 during Covid there was immese crowd on sunday...very busy locationFerry ServiceYou can bargain easily to the local men for boating and it also depends on either you choose a motor boat or hand-stiring boat(We bargained and got 100 per person)
Its wonderful to closely see the view of waterfall. But the colour of river is get brown due heavy rain in monsoon season and in November it turns to normal colour of water which is more beautiful. I suggest Not to vist here in monsoon.
