Feels like resort! Hahaha the place is cozy and classy, the food is jinjja jinjja daebak amazing yummy sedap! Each food is distinctive which is really good, tak rasa sama compared to other restaurants. The latte art is pretty. But do prepare a lot of money cuz they will charge you their service tax 😂 the price is worth it with their food and service. Great place for a long casual session with friends
Everything is good n nice variety n selection. Pricey for Ipoh.
Staff service was not nice to us very rude , not nice to my girlfriend and me , and the food also not nice , mcm ni x betul , servis buruk!!!
It’s a very eclectic, aesthetically interesting place. Heavy wooden chairs. Extensive menu, tons of options - western and Asian or Asian fusion. Had Vietnamese options, Thai, Singaporean noodles, Chinese soup, steak and lamb and seafood pasta etc. We had high hopes! Quite good service. Adequate seating and parking. But the food was just okay. It was good. The lamb shank was indeed fall off the bone, but the gravy it was in tasted like a basic oxo stock cube. And other than a small scoop of mashed potatoes there were 4 raw whole cherry tomatoes floating in the gravy. My boyfriend Vietnamese lamb had great flavor but the salad was doused in dressing and no carbs to help fill you. So keep expectations on simmer and you’ll have a nice breathtaking experience. Been here few times before. Recommended fosho!
First time here. I had the kerabu ayam percik rice. Ayam is lousiest percik i ever had. Wifey had spicy chilli crab pasta and turn out to be crabest pasta ever. Coconut shake, they need to learn to do it better...not recommended to enjoy food here. Food one star and i gave 2 star because they have so so interior...
Reataurant name little elephant at Ipoh town area.Nice and quiet place for you and friends to chill at afternoon or night. Easy to parking just right in front of the restaurant with some deco for you to shoot some romantic or funny picture while waiting for the food.Foods are good and prices is reasonable.
Stunning flavours. Indonesian and western mix groove. East meets west. I see so many foreign people it must have already been recommended 😄. Yes come and try the local food, lamb shank, beef steak and must have fine tea from Sabah.
The place has a nice enviroment and the waiters are polite. Thats about it.Otherwise....The food was very sad. We ordered a fried chicken dish tat had more flour than the chicken itself plus it was overly drenched with some creamy sauce. The squid n prawn were tasteless and not fresh. Pricey but not worth it. Overall we were quite disappointed.
The sauce for Lemongrass chicken chop is superb. Tomyum soup so-so, seafood not too fresh. 4 star for food. Reason giving 5 star is due to the good ambience and nice music, also Kudos to your staff Nick for good attitude and well mannered. Nice experience here.
Ordered quite a numbers of dishes: chicken wings, lamb shank, salmon, lemongrass chicken chop, pineapple fried rice, nasi kerabu ayam percik and baked oyster. MYR591.60 for 9 person. Highly recommend nasi kerabu ayam percik but its quite spicy for me. The salmon is overcooked and the baked oyster is not fresh. The portion is quite big, recommend share with a group of friends so that can tasted more dishes.
Great environment but below average amd overpriced food. Came here and ordered their nasi kerabu, ABC and Jasmine tea. Had high expectations for the nasi kerabu but was deeply disappointed. The nasi kerabu tasted like plain white rice. The chicken rendang tasted like plain boiled chicken covered in rendang sauce which was tasteless. The ABC was surprisingly disappointing as its difficult to go wrong with ABC. The sachet tea was unfortunately the best thing here. The environment was good however.
It was ok for me but my friend said otherwise as her food might not be her taste. Nice ambience.
Had lunch here on a hot day. Environment inside is really cooling though. Enjoyed the food with loved one. Recommended for a day out.
Excellent tasty food, reasonable price and very cosy environment. Will definately go bck there again. 👍🏼
Good service but food is so-so. Had pineapple fried rice, fried kuey teow, lamb shank, lemongrass chicken. Elderly folks werent too well and wanted warm water. They insisted on charging RM3 (the price for mineral water) for warm water. Nice ambience but this experience left an unfavorable impression on us.
Delicious food...worth the price all though a lil pricey...nice ambience....
Tom yum seafood not that fresh..char kue teow also lacking 锅气... Nice ambience
Bland taste and unappealing. Fish battered was bad and not crispy - no seasoning at all. French fries was soggy and tasteless. Milky latte - no coffee taste, and only milk. Not a good place for coffee. Not friendly and slow service.
Nice place for relax and delicious food
Good food..big portion..nice n cozy highly recommended..
A must come place. The ambience of restaurant was cozy. The food was delicious especially their chicken wings.
Overall is OK ..if you love lamb this really recommendend
Very nice. Place is still cosy & food served is delicious even with the trim down menu in the new Norm. No deterioration in the service quality at all despite observing the SOP. In short my dinner there is still an awesome one.
Good experience! Price average and food really fusion.. Recommended! Nice and relax environment ~
Fusion-style Asian food in very rustic settings. Theres a very Balinese feel about the place with a distinct aroma of teak. A nice place to entertain or treat yourself. Although pricey, the food is overall good and I particularly enjoyed the nasi ayam percik. The teas are also worth mentioning. The original teh tarik made with Sabah Tea was fragrant and flavourful.
Please go to this restaurant if you are constipation, after eat confirm will diarrhea flash your intestine clean clean. Order more than 10 dishes, none is delicious.
Love the Pineapple fried rice. Reason given 3 star because the service is weak. They are hardworking but sense of customer service is weak. Need improvement. Overall food is good.
Nice food.
Beautiful and nice environment👍👍 a lot of parking... The food was delicious.. The price also reasonable for me..😊
Food and the set up is great. But the lights in the car parking area is wrongly placed. It should be directed to the drive way instead...
Attended training:Venue easy to find & noticeable, Environment comfort, air con was good, Food not too bad
Lamb satay was fabulous! Pandan nasi lemak 👍. Value for money too!
Just OK⋯⋯
Food ok,environment ok
Had dinner with friends here - nice atmosphere, plenty of parking and polite waiters. Will come back again...
Honest review: The food were very bland and tasteless, oxtail soup was too dilute . Steaks were lack of salt and not even marinated. It seems like they use very cheap frozen product. Plus, the price does not reflect the quality of the food. The staff were not even attentive in their service. It took us a while to get their attention eventhough the restaurant was not crowded. Highly disappointed.
Brilliant western food.Standouts are the Sabah TeaAlso Dessert.
Nice ambience & foods.
High end dining? Mistook this place for a Thai food joint. Boy was I wrong. The dishes are quite the standard mixture of Asian, and Western fare. Prices are in line with the decor, expensive and maybe a bit overkill. Ordered two dishes, the curry laksa came with chicken meat that tasted stale. The service was decent and overall cleanliness is there. But not a spot for those looking for really good food. Ipoh has much better fare to offer.
Good food good place, very nice ambient, will come again soon
Too pricey and food is merely fair.
Good food serve and value for money minimum RM23+ for main course
The food was delicious but above all, the service was impeccable. The waiters and waitresses were very pleasant and obliging.
Mix different type of dishes, lots of choices. If I remember correct name, the Sabah lemon tea very nice. Recommend !
The food was goodWe had great funThe ambiance was greatMy friend didn’t like his lemongrass burgerIt’s just not to his taste
Well decorated, good dining environment. However, the serving speed is kinda slow. The price of almost every single dishes are a bit unreasonable. It is for those who are ready to spend a lot of money. Overall the visual of the restaurant is probably above average, but need to put in more effort and make some changes.
No vegetarian options. Typically Malaysian Chinese. Better restaurants in Ipoh.
Food is relatively good with nice ambience. They do turn on enough air-cond units to provide a cool and comfortable environment. Good selection of background music.Drinks are expensive and do not worth the money.
Here are the things me and my family doesn’t like about Little Elephant in Ipoh:1) we were placed at outdoor area full of mosquitoes2) one of the waiter greeted us when we arrived, which is nice, but start taking our order after a long while, and she ignored the order of customer arrival and took the other table’s order. Not pleasant customer service experience.3) the food is moderate, not worth the price definitely.4) although we paid for 10% service tax, but not much service has been given.5) warm water comes in the form of PLASTIC mineral water bottle. Not environmentally friendly at all. That’s all from me and my family, not going to visit this restaurant in the near future.
Definitely insta-worthy. Food is nice, portion is big, and price is acceptable.
Very delicious and good atmosphere, just a little pricy for ipoh standard . Will come back more often 😊
Nice foodCopy place
Food not bad, have presentation room and special place for guests for guests
Amazing food ! Very comfortable and relaxing place to dine. Highly recommended
Good options for Asian fusion food. Vietnamese Lamb Loin was good but side salad was a little bit drenched in too much roasted sesame dressing. Good portion.Sea bass dish was quite good but portion was small.Lemongrass chicken, good sauce but the chicken piece itself was more like a chicken chop piece but topped with really good lemongrass gravy.Requested for ala carte mashed potato which was not in the menu but available upon request. Glad they served it but felt that there was slightly too much seasoning. Mashed potato served with the lemongrass chicken was ok.Overall food ok. Some food might have too many flavours on your tongue due to the fusion.Would have rated a 3 star but staff were really good and friendly. Good service. Baby/kid-friendly with baby chair available. They even provided baby/toddler with plastic plate, fork and spoon.
Environment is nice, staff is nice but food needs improvement
This environment in this place is okay but food is so-so only.
Environment is nice but the food quality is very so so.
Food quality was good. Whole family loved it. A bit pricey. No individual dishes on the menu
STG aka Little Elephant
First visit with family today, unfortunately this place did not meet our expectations. First off there was a sign displayed outside related to set lunch, but when we asked the waiter he ts us there wasnt any. After that, the waiter mixed up our order and my mum ended up getting her food after my dad finished his meal (despite the restaurant offered a free mushroom soup after they realized they prepared the wrong food). The worst part was they never gave us back the change after my boyfriend paid the bill. After waiting for sometime, my boyfriend went over to the cashier to find out whats the issue, only to be offered another bill (with the mixed up order previously) to pay. This indicate they have poor service and lack of communication or proper work order. Given their price and limited menu choices, I would say this is quite a let down since the tables werent even half occupied during our meal. Kindly improve your service if you dont want to lose more customers.
The environment is a plus point. However, I tasted better food else where. Nothing much to shout about.
Excellent food, ambience and very friendly staff. I recommend this place highly
There were 12 of us dining here in the evening. Its a Thai restaurant with Thai type fixture and fittings styling outside and inside. Coming from the food industry ourselves we are pretty knowledgeable with eastern cuisines. The menu selection here was a huge dissapointment. There was not much Thai choice, we tried the house special which was a typical Thai dish it was a complete let down. Also the prices were high. Dont waste your time and money here.
The theme in this restaurant is kind different and mixed. Service is good, food is nice. Ill recommend this.
1 thing Good about little elephant is their environment is good and clean.However,1) Slow : waited almost an hour for grilled chicken and Nasi Kerabu ayam percik.2) Overrated Food : Grilled chicken was overater would rather go for Dave Deli or Nando’s. Nasi Kerabu Ayam Percik wasn’t good as i’ve eaten nasi kerabu ayam percolate from roadside stall aunty which was way better than little elephant.
Nice environment, prices a bit high
Food quality was good. Whole family loved it. A bit pricey. No individual dishes on the menu
Something went wrong with the food but they are willing to replace for free or even cancel the bill. Good service! We are happy for it
Place is great.... nice ambience but food is out. Tasteless
Good taste food served. Superb environment.
