The under-construction museum was previously a hangout spot for the then rulers of the city of Indore. When the land was given to Department of Atomic Energy, a promise was made to protect the archaeological highlights of this land including this building.The building was then used as the Directors office of RRCAT. Considering the detoriating state of the building, an intervention lead to the closure of the road in front of it to vehicles and the building itself is being renovated into a museum. The place shall soon be a nice place to visit with friends and family.
