Its a great temple of Thakur Ramakrishna.. and the environment is so charming having the breeze from The Holy River Ganga... It is a big campus with many temple.. in this campus there is book shop.The Evening Prayer is so inspiring and beautiful, one must attend this if they visit Belur Math.

It is another temple present inside the complex.clean and neat ,sometimes crowded.

It was Swami Vivekananda’s desire that the new temple should embody the salient features of major temple architecture of different religious beliefs so that everyone who comes to the Ramakrishna Temple would feel at home and realise the underlying principle of the universal brotherhood and religion propounded by the Great Master.

It is the Head quarter of Ramakrishna Mission order on the bank of river Bhagirathi. It is one of the most important spiritual destination in Kolkata. A Beautiful temple and Ashram complex in natural surroundings with breathtaking Gardens. One can get Prasad here in noon.

I love this place. One of my favourite place in the city. Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, good for everyone.

Holy place besides the river ganga.when some one enters the ramakrishna temple and sit for sometimes he will be refreshed bycool ,fresh air from river ganga.he will be recharged for a time period to do some good work and to think some good thought.there are also temple of holy mother,swamiji and raja maharaj.you can also visit the well decorated museum,full of things used by the holy trio and thakurs direct disciples.whole place is very clean you should maintain that.just enjoy the holiness of that place.

A unique combination of temple mosque and church. You should visit this holy place atleast once in a liftime. I m sure it will give you a memorable visit.

The design of the temple was envisioned by Swami Vivekananda and the architect was Swami Vijnanananda, a direct monastic disciple of Ramakrishna. Sri Ramakrishna Temple was consecrated on 14 January, the Makar Sankranti Day in 1938.The architectural style and symbolism from a number of religions have been incorporated into the design of the temple at Belur Math, to convey the universal faith in which the movement believes.The temple is considered as a prime example of the importance of material dimension of religion.

The organizations were brought into existence by Sri Ramakrishna (1836-1886), the great 19th century saint from Bengal who is regarded as the Prophet of the Modern Age, and Sri Ramakrishna’s chief disciple, Swami Vivekananda (1863-1902), one of the foremost thinkers and religious leaders of the present age, who is regarded as ‘one of the main moulders of the modern world’, in the words of an eminent Western scholar A.L. Basham.

Swami Vivekananda was the foremost disciple of Sri Ramkrishna Paramhansa.He spread in India and the western world the message of Vedanta as taught and lived by Ramkrishna Paramhansa.This temple was dedicated to Sri Ramkrishna Paramhansa on 1938 . Very quiet and serene atmosphere. One could feel the presence of Swami Vivekananda and Ramkrishna Paramhansa and Sri Sri Maa Sarada here. Ideal place for meditation and peace of mind.
