This restaurant is the best Indian restaurant I can possibly find in Houston area. Very delicious food with authentic Indian flavor. On top of that, they have absolutely excellent service! Ajay is the best server I can ever think of and have met so far!! The dinning experience here is truly an one of a kind feel you will not get it anywhere else.

The place was nice and clean and the owner was very hospitable and accommodating of our requests. The food was really good too. A great overall experience. Definitely one of my favorite places in Houston.

The owner and staff were super sweet and attentive. The place was clean and the thought for COVID precautions was certainly there. My only gripe was they have single use gloves for you to use but no hand sanitizer. The general person with gloves is going to spread more germs than with just proper hand hygiene and no gloves.The chai was great and so was the lamb curry. The only dish I was a little disappointed in was the Saag Paneer— it’s one of favorite dishes for me to get when I try North Indian food but I was let down with the taste even thought the texture was spot on.I would certainly come back and give it another go— it’s possible that the Saag Paneer was just having an off day!

The service and saag paneer were amazing! Been to many indian places and usually the saag paneer is watery or just a little off, but this was perfection. Really enjoyed the kebabs too. I thought the beef could have been cooked a little more as it was basically raw, but overall enjoyed the dishes. The dinner for 2 and plate for 1 were enough to share for 4

The traditional curry is amazing! Honestly, the best Indian dish Ive ever had. This place has more meat options than other Indian restaurants, but also has enough vegetarian options, so we had no problem.

We got some delicious food from here over the weekend. We tried the butter chicken; which is their signature dish and saag paneer. Butter chicken comes with some rice, naan, and a small salad. We also got another order for naan; garlic naan. It was all scrumptious. Plenty of chicken pieces in the butter chicken. You can also pick the spice level. There wasn’t many people at the restaurant on a Sunday but we opted to place a take out order. Highly recommend.

Excellent selection of Indian cuisine. One of the better ones Ive had in the Houston area. We went for dinner and found the food and service to be top notch. They also have a nice patio if your preferred seating is outside.

Simply loved it! Their signature dish is the butter chicken which is slow cooked the authentic way. The chicken breaks easily and the sauce is delicious. I also enjoyed the perfectly cooked garlic naan. The service was welcoming, friendly and quick. This was our first time and well be back for more.

This place is the best! The people are sweet and so genuinely helpful, so sweet. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is so homey. Since we started coming here about 2 months ago we try to eat here at least 1 maybe 2 times a week when we can!! ❤️

Delicious food, nice presentation, a clean and tidy restaurant, and a very nice staff. Perfect. Its a little steep at nearly $20 for the weekday lunch buffet, but you do get what you pay for. I will certainly come back

My first dining experience here and it was phenomenal....from the exceptional customer service from walking in to the delicious food. Pam took care of me from wine suggestions to bringing me a jalapeño just in case my butter chicken wasnt spicy enough....I definitely will be returning!

The buffet is always a pleasure to experience with the range of indian style dishes that keep me coming back for more. The sang paneer is really good when paired with naan bread!

Service was great! I dined alone this evening, and it was very welcoming. They were on top of refills as well as suggestions, and very positive attitudes! The chai tea was delicious, and so was everything else! Both chutneys were very flavorful without being over powering. The naan was super soft perfect thickness. Butter chicken was also perfect thickness as well as the balanced amount of creamy. Rice was on point. And the little salad was, surprisingly, one of my favorite things! I usually take a bite of salad then leave it. But I ate the whole thing. Perfect blend of cucumber, tomato, and seasoning. Over all, great experience! Recommended. 100%

The Indian food here is first rate. My favorites are the chicken tikka masala and saag paneer. However, I have not found one of their dishes that I dislike. The food is always fresh and hot and delicious. The service is friendly and prompt.

This is an absolutely hidden gem of Houston! The curries, daal, veggies tastes like true Indian food! Their lamb curry is to die for.. it tastes like back home.. authentic and finger licking. Fully recommend their buffet (its same menu every day). They have rice pudding (Kheer/phirni) with pistachio topping and delicious gulab jamuns included in their buffet. They also serve pure wheat tandoori roti which is quite rare to find in restaurants.Service is amazing. Mr. Khanna has always been very welcoming and friendly. Can’t wait to go back.

Cute little Indian restaurant, got the meal for two, dont underestimate it, you will leave FULL. Try thier in home hot sauce, not just spicy, but full of flavors from other spices.

The Dinner for Two was the perfect date night order! Everything was amazing. My absolute favorite part was the perfectly cooked giant shrimp. Our eyes got huge when we bit into it! Such a burst of flavor.

Moved to Houston 2 years ago. So many good restaurants. This place is in my top ten of places to eat. I can’t say I am an Indian food expert, but have had it quite a few times and this place is my favorite. Good food, good atmosphere and very nice wait staff.

The best Indian restaurant in town. My boyfriend and I usually go every Friday and we love it! Prices are great, service is amazing and great quality food.

Pros: Nice place, profesional and quick service, plenty of seating, the options on the buffet were overall good quality. Cons: Comparatively, it is a little pricey for a lunch buffet, the tikka masala was a little too sweet.

Known for their butter chicken you cant go wrong with it. Very high on my list. I love a quiet well served dinner here hidden behind larger louder restaurants it is nice to find a gem that shines on both Friday night or Tuesday. Try it and love it.

Absolutely delicious. They were so nice and accommodating. We got the rice pudding for dessert and it was AMAZING. Great place, affordable, and I left very happy.

Some chicken pieces were like rubber.Waiter was pushy and kind of rude.Salad was extremely bad although it’s just a basic mix of some veggies, it was easy to tell it’s not fresh at all.

This is my favorite Indian restaurant, also my favorite restaurant, and I always come here for my birthday. The service is fantastic and so is the food. I am vegetarian and always find something great to eat here. My family loves the grilled chicken dishes. Khyber is a great place to celebrate!

The spices were perfectly blended. I cant eat overly spicy and when I underestimated the hotness of a dish, they kindly helped me choose another. They also made a special dish for one of the picky eaters and made it seem like it was their idea. Wonderful service and great food.

Great buffet and even better staff. Everyone was very professional and attentive. The buffet has high quality meats everything made fresh, its a higher end lunch but you get what you pay for.

Good and tasty food. Went for lunch, had a nice buffet. Spacious and food was warm and in a lid container. Only problem I had was with the room temperature. It felt warm and I started sweating half way through my first plate. This made me not get another plate. Had to go out to get some fresh air while its mid summer. All in all food is great, environment can be adjusted.

Yummmmm!!! Khyber knows how to make spicy food! We shared the Dewet-Dinner for 2 take out and still thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The lamb korma made me smile. It was nice taking deep breath after a hearty, spicy meal. Khyber is a keeper!

Restaurant describes itself as casual but refused to seat us because I was wearing a short sleeve. In Texas. During summer. No ‘dress code’ posted anywhere.Other patrons were also wearing short sleeves who were not refused seating. I really do wonder about that.I will not be going back.

I am an Indian food fan without a doubt but some restaurants can be a little unkempt but Khyber is NOT one of those. This place is wonderfully clean and very well maintained. The lunch is served buffet style and is so very good. I would eat Khyber for breakfast if they were open! Its easily one of Houstons finest true-taste Indian offerings.

I have eaten here about 3 times, each time with a different menu selection, and all dishes have been super tasty. The waitstaff is very attentive but not cloyingly so. I have invited several friends to eat here with me as an adventure (for them) and each has enjoyed the experience and was glad to have at least tried this northern Indian cuisine.

Food: Never eaten Indian food before so this rating is based on my trying new things. It was pretty good, chicken masala was great, the naan was great, the cucumber tomato salad was fresh and tasty. I would definitely consider going back as I work in the area.However,Experience: I will not go back again after the experience my female friend and I had here. The waiter only addressed me when asking what we wanted to drink, he did not address her at really any point. After we had finished eating and payed we were sitting and talking outside, majority of the restaurant was empty and no one else was outside the staff came out 5 times in 20 minutes to ask if everything was okay. That would be okay had they come to our table more than 3 times during our hour at the restaurant. I felt uncomfortable with the lack of addressing her, and I felt uncomfortable with the polite attempts to make us leave.Maybe order delivery or takeout? But probably not going here as a female as it may be difficult to speak to the staff as they will not speak to you.

This is my second visit. Spectacular!!!! The staff are very charming and helpful. The food in a word is unbelievable. This order was take out so I cant show you beautiful foodie photos but trust me, the trip here is beyond worth it.
