Had not visited for a long time due to pandemic but food is still as delicious as we remembered. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend it.

Amazingly friendly staff and huge portions for the price. There is a minimum wait time if 20 min, but its worth the wait. The staff is very attentive that you enjoy the food and will advise you if the food is too spicy and will give you yogurt just in case. This isnt a fancy looking restaurant but I prefer that over a fancy place with average food.

I lived in Houston for more than 4 years. I have been to dozens of restaurants in all corners of the city.This place is the best. Period.Butter chicken is a simple dish, so is goat karahi, but this food is just plain tasty.The whole menu is amazing, I dont know what hidden michelin star chef is hiding in the back but they are a master of their craft.This place should have a line out the door every day because the prices are screaming deals.Take your date, your mom, or your grandpa who needs to taste his final meal. You wont be disappointed.

Now this is a great spot. The food is super authentic and brought back wonderful memories of Pakistan.The food is prepared fresh, the Nihari was very enjoyable, the beef was super succulent. The chicken Karahi was good to taste along with the Naan.The restaurant is certainly a busy spot, and well frequented by local folks which is a strong endorsement.The food does take a little while to come (20-30 mins).Will certainly be back.

Ive been coming here for 20 years. The food is authentic and always excellent. The portions are great, the quality is good, and the spice level is just right. Dont miss the rice pudding as its some of the best in the city. The tandoori naan is good all by itself.

Absolutely loved this hole in the wall. Came here with the whole family. The goat polao is fantastic. Very nostalgic taste for me. Tastes like moms cooking. Parking is plenty. Attentive service. The chicken karahi was meh, a bit on the oily side for our taste. The owner came to our table to check on us. The kheer sweet was very good! Pretty far from where we live, but I will make the drive for their goat polao for sure.

Awesome Naans. We ordered naans, Chapli kabob chicken and Beef, Mutton curry, Paneer palak curry, Kheer. Everything was hot and served fresh. The service was fast and friendly. Cost wise also a better option and try their butter chicken. Recommended. Its 20 minutes from i10 and Barker and its not too crowded.

Great service and excellent food!! I had been looking for a good Pakistani place for a long time and just happened to find this place while browsing reviews. I now use Khan BBQ as my standard of any Indian or Pakistani food. My favorites are Nahari, Tikka Masala, and Butter Chicken. But you cant go wrong with anything you choose.The only thing I wish they would do, is delivery. I would eat it ALL THE TIME. Lol. But honestly, theyre just that good that they dont have to do it.

My co-worker introduced me to Khan BBQ about 8+ years ago, back when they were in this little itty bitty hole-in-the-wall and Ive been a fan ever since! My usual order is the Karahi Chicken, Chicken Charga, Daal Chana and Naan. Everything is cooked to order, so expect to wait at least 30 minutes.

Visited Khan BBQ and grill for the first time today and had a great experience! Friendly staff, super tasty food, great portions, and affordable prices. Ill definitely be back!!

Chpal kabab and Daal are to die for! Love their naan and hospitality. They are a small family business and make you feel a part of the family. If you ever see kheer available, try it, its one of the best in town!

I was visiting Houston from Alberta, Canada and found this place to be the best Pakistani food I have ever tried. I order the tikka masala and the biryani chicken, they were just amazing.The prices are cheap and reasonable. I was staying near the Houston airport and drove 45 min to eat here and it was worth it, would never come to Houston and not come and eat here again.Thanks for the great food and service.

Very unprofessional and rude customer service. I came to pick up my order and they said they trashed my order because I came little late for pick up despite of me calling them to notify I will be late for pickup. I told Zara I will be late. They refused to make another order and didnt bother to accept their mistake.

Nice food and all four stars as I didnt like the fact they have disposable plates very difficult to eat Curry in it pulao was good. Kheer was okay.. chapli kabab was so so they really need to work on serving and speed its too slow .. Nan bread was delicious 💓

I’m disappointed by the customer service at this restaurant. I ordered biriyani but when I got home, I found out they mixed up my order and gave me the wrong food. I get it, mistakes happen but that was not the issue. They didn’t owe up to their mistake and straight out denied that I made that order and refused to give me what I ordered because I couldn’t return what they gave me because I had already opened it!

Naan here is the best Ive ever had in my life, and for just $1!!The food is the kind that you can tell that was prepared with care and took the right amount of time to cook.They also make sweet rice twice a day so its fresh.And customer service is amazingIll keep coming back

Decor & restaurant is quite drab & it looks halfass clean, but the food is AMAZING! the chicken chargha & the biryani is my favorite! This is by far the worst Pakistan food I ever eat. The butter chicken and chicken boti have no flavor. I am actually surprised by their good reviews online. Its looks like who ever happy with their food did not try good Pakistani food restaurants around Houston. To be fair the staff are friendly people. But they need to work hard on their food taste.

Amazing food. Home made to order. Can’t be beat. Even though I’ve never been to Pakistan it tastes warm, and welcoming like home. It takes a moment to make and the restaurant is unassuming but the food is so good and the people are so nice.

My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for a few months. My dad loves them and so do we now! The service is awesome, the guys are very sweet. We order the food in advance (it can take time to come out ) by the time we reach the restaurant our food is hot and ready.Seriously my favorite Indian food place these guys really put time and effort into making the food and it shows so much. Cant wait to go back!

They are like fluffy pillows of heaven...that you can dip, fold, or eat plain of course. Give this restaurant a chance, you deserve it.Update, I ordered pick up from Khans...the guy whos usually at the register is always so friendly, such adds to the charm for this unexpected gem of an eatery. One of the best halal places in Houston. Humble family owned business. The food is so tasty, you can tell it’s cooked with authentic spices and flavors. The only thing I’d say is the wait time is a little much but once you taste the food pull understand something so good and fresh does take time. Just call ahead, plus one of the greeters is so sweet and handsome. I didn’t have cash in hand once for a small order and he said it was in the house! 100% recommend

This is a truly a hole in the wall food gem with great friendly service. We have been here multiple times now and have yet to receive any bad food. Our personal favorites are the lamb kadai and the grilled items. They have a limited menu but whatever is on the menu is terrific.The proprietor is friendly always, remembers you and always greets you when you come in.Seating is okay but do not expect upscale dining. Also, food does take about 15-20 mins to come but it is made fresh to order.I will be a loyal customer for the foreseeable future.

Most of the food are freshly prepared only after ordering, so it may take around 25-45 mins for your dine in food. So better call and place order before you reach there for dine in.Orders are taken at table, and the hosts are friendly. Must visit.

Respect goes a long way.We were greeted with a very warm welcome. Even though we were taking time to look at the menu there was no pressure or awkwardness.The food was exceptionally delicious. Probably the best Indian food I have had around this area. So much more affordable and you get a lot more food! The naan bread is huge and it is only for a dollar each. You spend half the money here and the food tastes way better than other restaurants. They have a customer for life!

I live in Colorado and have family in Houston. I make a point of coming to this restaurant every time Im in town. The staff couldnt be friendlier and I absolutely love the food. You do have to wait if you eat there even if theyre not busy as they cook each order fresh. Or you can order takeout by phone if you dont want to wait. If you dont like spicy food try the butter chicken, its flavorful but without much heat. And dont forget an order of naan bread, its only $1 and very good.
