The food is ok but very very costly. The ambience is nice and the staff polite.Average cost per person is much more than ₹1000 for a meal.The non veg plater portion was very less and super pricy.If the serving size is increased then it would be nice.We ordered : mawa lassi, non veg plater, dal, Balti mutton, malai kofta, dal, chicken shorba, lemon soda and the bill was ₹ 5700 approx

This eating joint is located on third floor of city centre Mall. This particular joint started in Jan 2020 and I had food on opening day of this joint. This place had taste of north India. Very close to taste of Punjab or Delhi. The variety is limited but good.What to eat here? I will suggest go for known North Indian dishes.For the regular hangout types it is good place to eat. But beware there is already dip in the food quality and they are just month old. Living in Guwahati since 2 years. Never ever had such authentic north indian food in Guwahati. Have visited almost every fine dine restaurant including five stars too. But couldnt find such tasteFriends if you want authentic north india food its a must visit place.. do visit

Scrumptious food. . The dal makhani is a must try - amazing flavor. . The balti meat is very delicately balanced with the mutton, obviously, being the highlight. .The service is impeccable! Mr sanjib ghosh was our server and he is very courteous and professional. Amazing service!

Loved the butter chicken and kebabs but the tandoori roti price was little high. Although good ambience and food.

The food was very awesome and also affordable price of the food. I liked the taste of the food. The way they serve the food is also awesome. They even celebrated my birthday today. I was very happy for them celebrating my birthday. Would always perfer this restaurant.

Ambience is clean and beautiful. For food I shud give 3 to 4 star atleast. But the restaurant staff should be trained well as they stare at girls like roadside romeos(one at the food counter with white uniform) . So I have given 2 star so that in future they donot do such thing. Due to continuous staring we had to finish the food ASAP and leave.

The food was good and the ambience was also good. The servicing was not that great but okay. The platting was very normal. The price of the food was high compared to the taste and the plating and the quantity. The same thing you can get in a normal Dhaba in much lower price. I tried the Sweet Lassi, the Gulabo Lassi, Murgh Sheekh Kabab, Tawa Chicken and Butter Nun. Overall the taste was good but for the price its a bit overrated.

I went with my frnd on 11 July 21.....good place for north Indian food lovers....taste n quality is good.... Quantity is decent enough...for 1-2 person Price is bit expensive... 1000+ per person....service is decent enough but u have ask for it then only they will service u......Coming to the main point....this resto charges a premium amount for food and services they provide... I was shocked to see 10% as service charge on my bill..... Service charge upto 5% is still mangable... 10% way beyond the limit... They dnt even mention it before billing....went I told them about it they told me u should have said earlier not to charge service charge..... I think its very unfair that resto was charging such high service charge inspite of prices of menu are well above the normal rate....I would say they are looting us....really 10% service charge is beyond imagination(mind you this amount is not a tax but a premium amount charge by resto for their service and its not a mandatory for us to pay).We should take legal action against such ilegal practise..... I am thinking taking such legal action against them

Ambience is good (its a family friendly place). Menu provides a wide variety. Food tastes really good. But honestly speaking, if you are a student live on a tighter side of a budget, then you wont be able visit this place more than once in 2 months!

The rating for food and ambience and service at this place is actually a 4 stars,but read on to understand why I gave only a 2 star rating.The food was tasty,although a bit too high-priced which we had expected from the other reviews.But what shocked me most was the service charges they slapped on our ₹9k bill,it was ₹900,that is 10% of the bill amount.I am not talking about the GST here(which was also added at 5% of the bill).When we asked about the service charges,the manager told me it was given to the cleaners as and when they get it,which I highly doubt.We rightfully declined to pay the same,after which they deducted the same from our bill.Kindly note this,when u dine at this restaurant.

Very delicious food. We ordered butter chicken, pineapple raita,mutton briyani. Not much waiting time either. The vinegar onions were also good. Its a must go to place for north Indian fare. I definitely recommend this place to everyone in Guwahati.

Yummy North Indian food and nice ambience.

I just loved the vibe over there. Fast services and awesome thrilling mocktails experience. But its just that the food quantity is less according to the pricing. Anyway, just go and try out on your own if you love all the dhaba, Punjabi vibe and enjoy mocktails.

Starter was okay but main course was horrible and the place is too expensive... better to spend that amount in Rang de Basanti.. atleast you will not be disappointed with the food.

Punjabi delicacy at its prime

Somebody recommended me this place, and I found it to be one of the worst. They tried to reflect the Ambience of a Dhaba but created a suffocating zone, food quality is average, poor service, but premium rates(absolute wastage of money). Guwahati is equipped with A+ and elite category fine dine restaurants where you would get the best quality foods, including authentic North Indian food, giving you the best value of your money. If you want to spend good money for good food, this place is certainly not an option.

Dont write badi Handi in your biriyani items. Those are not even a meal. Your Meals are snacks for small kids. If you want take premium rate, no problem, atleast dont cheat the customer. Write proper details about how big your badi(big) handi is. #cheat

Awesome place with just awesome food. Ambience is a bit cosy and might not be suitable if you are looking for a very spacious and private outing. Decor is authentic and very vibrant. The staff s also very polite and service is top notch. The cost per person is high as compared to other restaurants but if you really want good food, its gonna be worth it. A one time try is a must and going back or not is just your decision. I went there for the second time today, bdw.😉

I visited today alone, was quite hungry. Paid Rs.300 for 3 rotis. A typical, Dhabe wala paneer butter masala has a very mouth-watering smoky taste, that was missing in Paneer Makhan Masala. I paid over Rs 780, value for money ia hard to find. A veg meal at The Square, Novotel cost about Rs. 630/-, we talk about costing.

Horrible experience...we were served Slice..in the name of Mango Juice..and had been charged enormous amount for that..They also charge hugh service charges in your bill..Quality of foods are also not upto to the mark..

The food is delicious and the restaurant was kind enough to make it child friendly non spicy. The restaurant has service charge and You will not get back the full change. Our bill amount was 1985 on payment of 2000 but we got back Rs 10 as the restaurant did not have change of 5 so they are okay to overcharge even after taking service charge

I ordered veg biriyani from this place, and its awesome! Will soon try for more dishes from here.

The food is great but the serving is very poor. We had to exchange one of the bread for 2 times as they served it burned. I would not recommend this place.

Situated on the third floor of city centre, Dhaba Estd 1986 gives an almost authentic feel of being somewhere in Delhi/Haryana. Had achari soya chap which i felt was a little on the dry side but the Butter chicken and garlic naan were delectable. Service was prompt and servers were ready to help with anything. The gulab jamun at the end was warm and melt in the mouth kind. Very happy with the experience
