Small but nice place to have biryani made in Kolkata style. The ambience is not stylish, but good. Both biryani taste and the restaurant make over takes one to the City of Joy. Posters of man pulled rickshaw and Ambassador cabs along with a big piece of potato and boiled egg in biryani spreads the nostalgia of Kolkata, if you are at all from there.The taste of the food is good and the quantity is more than required. Price-wise very competitive. They also have a Kolkata food home delivery provision. Overall nice and feel good. Recommended to visit once, if you are a fan of Kolkata biryani.

The personnel handling the food, directly puts his hands in the food without wearing gloves. Moreover, they store the side dishes in their fridge for God knows how long. The dish smelled and tasted off and no surprise by the next day, all of us suffered from food poisoning.Let this place be your last resort in case of hunger pangs. Even boiling maggi might be a better option.

Good place to ordered kolkata style biryani,I ordered kolkata Chicken birayani and chicken bharta,biryani was ok,bharta was good, exact what I was expecting,spicy, quantity was good,took around 30-35 minute to get delivered.

I must say the taste of Kolkata biryani is actual taste of Kolkata, you may enjoy the wonderful taste here in.. Reasonable price. The biryani contains Aaloo, eggs and chicken/mutton.

Couple of times ordered Biryani and Chicken Kosha from this shop. Recently 2 times Ordered Mutton Biryani and Chicken Kosha and unfortunately both the times I found small cockroach in Biryani and Gravy. First time I ignored, maybe something went went. when I found same second time I decided to visit to the shop located opposite of SuperMart 1. And What I found is quite surprising and will never order for sure from this place again. It’s a small unhygienic shop, cockroaches and rats are everywhere. Inside the micro-oven which they use is full of cockroaches so it’s quiet obvious that I found those in my food. Please don’t order from this shop. It’s not hygienic at all, pls visit the shop if you want to experience it by yourself.

Mutton biriyani is more tasty and delicious than chicken biriyani and if you are a hardcore non vegetarian then you must go for mutton biriyani only

Tried fish fry from KBH. Quality is average nothing great. Overfrying reduced the taste. Needs improvement

I ordered from full chicken biryani from here through zomato. The full biryani had only one chicken piece and one very big potato. The quantity is very less and won’t even be enough for 1 person.

I am not a fan of Biryani but my friends wanted to have some Biryani so decided to order Biryani from Kolkata Biryani & I must say it has become my favourite Biryani out there nowadays.Recommend to all, try atleast once.

Most of the time dishes are not available or are not fresh. 250 rs Mutton biryani is now 400 rs just in 6 months gap. Not worth anymore.

Generally I liked this place and have been there a few times in the past. However they delivered stale food item today (through @swiggy). All items in my order were good, but the Chicken chap smelled unusual. To me it seemed like a mild smell of naphalene. I could be all wrong about that chemical thing, but surely it smelled very unusual. But then who takes a chance with food so it went into the dustbin !!

The food was good so was the quantity, typical kolkata biriyani can be found here.But its more of a take away food point rather than a proper restaurant, since we were served everything in soft paper plates, which made me feel this way.

Good place to have Kolkata biryani. Its hard to find biryani, that tastes and smells like Kolkata Biryani, in NCR. This is one of the two places (other being Aminia in CR PARK) that will make Bengalis feel at home. The only downside is that their quality in terms of taste is not consistent

I hv ordered one full and one half and the cost of 1 and half plate is more than 500. I tried to reach after online payment and no response till 12 pm. Some how delivered with such a quantity I felt lucky not inviting any body. the container size was just like baby food. They are just looting us...I hv not tested yet but requested to order 1.25 full size for each adult minimum..

Its worst than i thought..have been ordering from this place since ages recently the ppl who takes order r horrible in behavior.just with a distance of 18mins from there hotel to my home they charged me 120Rs.when i wanted to talk to the manger the rep slanged and kept.i reffered this place to several friends of mine but nvr again.

Ordered Chicken Biryani .Food was served in disposable plate ,which was shocking. After biryani ordered chicken kosha...Chicken piece was coldAsked to make it warm.I have uploaded a video of mouse which wasRunning over all the places,tabke ,chair.No water juga, no glasses.Did not found suitable to come to the restaurant and have food. It does not accept credit cards too

Top class kolkata/Dhaka style biryani in NCR. I bet you will not get this taste in NCR. My all-time favourite in Delhi.Also serve tasty tikka roles and tanturi chicken

Oily biriyani, but tastes good!

Being a vegetarian, i get very less options in Gurgaon and most of the restaurants are serves non veg. Found some good reviews and so ordered my meals.I have ordered these - Veg Biryani, paneer tikka, Aloo roll, panner roll, phirni, misti dahiPacking - It was properly packed and was really hot.Quantity - Check in the pics, the quantity of 1 Biryani place, was sufficent for 2-3 people.Improvements - Panneer tikka could improve a little as it was over cooked. No Major complains :)

Good biryani. Portion size needs to be worked upon

After being disappointed by many a Biryani joints, the Calcuttan in us finally burped with a smile. To give a brief background, Kolkata style Biryani is distinct from other varieties of Biryanis. This has emanated from the Awadhi style brought to Kolkata by Wajed Ali Shah during his exile. This Biriyani is subtly flavored with saffron, rose water and other fragrant spices. Plus it always comes with a huge boiled potato. It is far less spicy / strong in taste than the north or south Indian Biryanis.The Kolkata Biryani House in Gurgaon served us an almost perfect Biryani in the Kolkata style. We ordered half portions of chicken and half mutton Biryani along with chicken chaap (steak). On request they cooked the chaap in a gravy. The Basmati rice was cooked just right, though the chicken pieces were a bit chewy/rubbery. The chaap was very oily but mild on spices compared to Delhi standards.For a Biryani fan, this is Mecca, notwithstanding the frugal dining arrangement outside the store. Go for it.
