I live in sector 56 and today I visited this establishment to purchase a 3 kg bag of dog food. The gentleman behind the pet food store was a man who is partially bald. I requested him to give me a carry bag as I was on a cycle and it would be difficult for me to carry the bag home. His response was (in hindi - translated) Whether you come in a plane or a cycle, manage as we do not have bags. I threw the food bag back at him and walked off. Goodness, I am extremely glad that he was not the owner, but look at his attitude. Dr Ashok, I hope that you can explain some basic customer service skills to this gentlemen who is nearly bald. I will never visit your establishment again, rather I will go to another place where the employees respect customers, irrespective the customer comes in a car, bike, helicopter, tank or by walk. Thank you.

Even though the doctor seems knowledgeable and knows what he is doing, they are very very very costly and i felt that we’re recommending things which weren’t even required at all. Not recommended. I would say go to Urban pet instead in sector 57 gurgaon.Dr Sahil is a very good and grounded doctor and they are charging for the treatment they give and don’t recommend unnecessary things.Reply to the owner:Thanks A lot for your response but rather than always defending yourself would you mind going through all the reviews and checking why you have so many one star reviews and most of them saying that you always prescribe things which are not required.if it would have been just me who would have said this thing I might have agreed but please go through all the reviews that you have. One such a review even mentioned that you had prescribe something which was not required and it killed their pet. so please it’s good to defend yourself when you are right but when you are not at least accept your mistake.second of all after coming to your clinic I went to 3 different clinics including a government clinic and none of them prescribed any scrapping taking or anything for what my pet had

CP Vet is a chain of clinics with good staff, but none are Doctors, which is OK because most answers are address well by the junior staff. However, their charges are exorbitant, and not worth the services. Just as an example - their charges for Nail Cutting for a Pup is Rs 200, even if it is along with other payable visits (Vaccination, Deworming etc.). Point is not whether you can afford paying the amount, point is, is it worth the value? The answer is a Big Bold NO. Nail Cutting is a Value Added Service (VAS) in all other Vet Clinics. I dont think CP Vet understands this basic thing.PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE, unless youre OK being fleeced.

These people just want to fleece you - their prices are much higher and if you leave your dog with them in IPD, they will not administer any treatment, keep them in a small cage where they cannot even move, feed your dog dry packaged food and charge you a bomb for it. I took my new 40 day pup to CP Vets in sector 56. The doctor did not come back after looking at her for 2 mins. I kept on asking her about fleas and ticks and her assistant who was nice but I don’t if he was a qualified vet was just explaining us Dos and donts. In this duration the doctor didn’t once show up though I went to her couple of times. The storekeepers and others were not wearing masks properly. I wonder if after removing 2-3 ticks from my pet they cleaned that area or not. In these Covid times I would expect some social distancing some hygiene but there was nothing of this sort here. All in all a horrific experience and I do not recommend the Sec 56 location to anyone!

Responding to CP Vets comment to my original review:Response from the owner 2 hours agoHi. A 13 years old Paralyzed dog with anemia and other age related issues. A Doctor can diagnose and give medication. Remaining thing is not in Doctors hand. and the cost depends on services you availed. ThanksSorry, there is no justification here on your part. As I highlighted before:1. Medical negligence on your end: Your staff completely missed out on identifying that my dog was suffering from Jaundice for almost a week. This was discovered when I took him for a second opinion to another veterinary hospital, and the staff there confirmed via tests that he had Jaundice for over a week, surprised that your staff failed to diagnose this.2. He was NOT paralysed. If he was paralysed, you would not have recommended those 6 shots of steroids for 3 days on a 13 year old dog. Yet, you went ahead saying that it will improve his condition. However, it only worsened his condition due to the Jaundice. This would not have happened, had you delivered an accurate blood report3. The cost was for services which I did not avail by choice, but by what you suggested insisting it would improve my dogs condition, only to tell me on the 4th Day that it failed.Original review:My strong recommendation - DO NOT, take your dogs/pets to CP Vet.On 7th June2020, due to their MEDICAL NEGLIGENCE AND MISDIAGNOSIS, I had to euthanise my dog. Here is what happened:1. On 30th May, I took my dog to CP Vet as he was frequently losing balance and falling. After running some tests and X-Rays, the Vet confirmed that he has bone spurs and anaemia, which he said is a common age related factor (my dog was 13)2. For treatment, they proceeded with 6 steroids for 3 days, which cost INR 12,000, convincing me that it would improve the quality of his life. In this hope and research on my part, I agreed3. After 3 days, no improvement was seen, to which they said age could be the influencing factor, and then injected my dog with power shots, which they said would provide him mobility support. This cost another INR 3000. By now, my kid reduced from 39 Kgs to 27 kgs, and he was hardly eating, which CP vet said was because of the steroids4. The next day, my dogs condition worsened as he was barely able to sit up straight, I rushed him to another Vet-hospital. The doctors over there confirmed he had been suffering from Jaundice for 7 days, and found it difficult to believe that CP Vet DID NOT indicate the symptoms which would clearly visible to any qualified vetSadly, my kid could not survive, and I had to euthanise him.CP Vet got to walk away with INR 15,000, during a pandemic where people are losing jobs, played my emotions, and snatched away the little time I had left with my dog. I have no option, but to mourn his death, wishing that I had NEVER taken him to CP Vet.

So on website they have mentioned that this clinic sector 56 gurgaon is open till 8:30 pm but no this is not the truth, My 50 days old pet was suffering with the bad congestion when i went there as i entered and went to the reception i was about to tell the reception person that my pet is not we but there was a guy who suddenly informed me that you should not come in between 2 to 2:30 as this is the lunch time, i told him that no body informed me that As it was my 4 th visit there in 20 days he said nobody will tell you this then i told him that you should mention this thing on net so he said if you will follow the net then you will have to wait for 1 hour, then i told him that i found this clinic on net only as my pet is not well and m worried but I think he is a senseless person he was continously arguing with me without thinking that i am carring a 50 days old small ill pet who need to be taken care of , i asked him who are you He said I am Dr. Rahul , i asked him whether they will be able to treat him or not then he again started the same thing lunch time ... lunch time .. bloody hell if it is your lunch time then go and have the lunch dont waste my time ... thankfully the other vet Dr. Sumit was there he came and told me to show my pet to him... I am not saying that is pet clinic is not Good as the other vet Dr. Manoj is also very good and sensible but there are always some people who are senseless, stupid , Rude and cold hearted like Dr. Rahul Dangi so beware of such Doctors just imagine if he is that cold hearted with a 50 days old pet them how will he treat the rest ... when i told him that i can complaint about this so he said do it i dont care ... It is better not to avoid cp vet but to avoid Dr. Rahul Dangi and let him have his lunch all the day .. appriciate Dr. sumit and Dr. Manoj and rest of the staff at CP vet sector 56 for taking care of my pet.

Dr Ashok is the reason my dog is not in this world anymore. He is a highly unprofessional and inconsiderate doctor. He operated my dog on 14th August for Pyometra infection. After the surgery, he came out really confident telling my parents that everything is fine she is perfectly normal and that we can take her home anytime, this despite repeated questioning by my parents(sadly I was not there :( ). That very day later in the night my dog died. Just read through his blatant lies after that, and to be clear he never mentioned any of these things before the surgery:-1) His words the next day when I called She developed severe infection, puss was so spread out that it was almost 10-12% her body mass. Now I want to ask if it was so severe and lethal why did he take 3 whole days(including the 12 hour fastening as they suggested) to finally do the surgery when ultrasound was done on 12th itself. On the day of surgery also, my parents sat there for 8 long hours before he started because ofcourse he couldnt loose on so many paying customers just because my dog is in fatal condition. Again all this waiting, when according to him the infection was so severe and deadly.2)His assistant doctor later told us that my dog had a weak heartbeat during the entire operation. Now if these doctors whom we treat as God knew of all these complications, why they didnt keep my dog under observation. Why the doctor was exhuming so much confidense after the operation that when my parents asked them if she is stable, he almost ignored them by saying Maine 200 surgeries kari hain, sab theek hai.3)We had also consulted him few days back(in July) for Tick fever. We asked him before the operation, is it safe to do surgery just after her recovery from tick fever, he outrightly said ofcourse, forget about tick fever now. Now this same person later on gives excuse that tick fever had also weakened her condition. Still these people delayed her surgery so much and didnt keep her under observation :( :(.4) We have visited him many times earlier as well for general check up. Everytime my parents asked if my dog needs spaying surgery, everytime he said no need. Now after surgery he says thats why we suggest spaying. This shows his sheer lack of care.5)Mr Ashok provided with an instruction form after surgery, in which they asked to call the surgeon IMMEDIATELY in case of abnormality in patients breathing and as they generally tout that they are open 24/7! My parents kept on calling him and his assistant the entire night, even the next whole day but they never responded :(I am shattered to the core and feel so guilty that I was not there this whole time and my precious girl had to suffer so much because of these highly inconsiderate doctors. I wish she could speak for herself.I cannot bring my girl back but please please please dont take your pets to these extremely unprofessional doctors if you care for their well being.
