Authentic North Karnataka Jowari Food

Great place for north karnataka food/rotti. very busy during lunch/dinner hours, mostly by students from nearby colleges.

A very nice, modern, neat & clean restaurant, serving only North Karnataka meals. Both lunch and dinner. No breakfast. You can order a la carte or fixed Thali.Food consists only of North Karnataka dishes- Jowar roti/ Chapati, 2-Palyas (subzi), a Chutney, dry Groundnut chutney powder, Onion salad, Rice, Sambar, Papad, butter milk and Curd. Food is rustic and tasty. Not too spicy. You wouldnt have a bloated stomach, even after heavy meals.You can even order special dishes like Bajra roti, Holige (Pooran poli) etc., which you can check with them. Bottled water and Ghee are also available, at additional cost. If you love North Karnataka food, this is one place to experiment with.It has a covered basement parking for Cars, and plenty of space for 2 wheelers.

Popular bhojanalaya. But very rush. Vegetable is of not good quality. They should provide atleast one green vegetable.

Good bhojanalay with traditional jollade rotti, moong dal bhaji, and excellent sambhar. We went for dinner - Service was quick, cleanliness was maintained. The shenga (peanut) podi and tomato sabji were little disappointing. For traditional food in this town, you can rely on this place.Shenga holige is speciality, you can order to take away and it stays good even for a week without fridge (we took it around in a car)
