Always be my favorite one out of all the soup currys stores in Sapporo. Ive been being their customer before this branch has opened, and both of them are impressive. Anyway, this branch might got more points from me because of the location.Its easy to go there from Odori or Susukino station, also no need to walk outside for a long distance (I mean, the weather here is Sapporo is not usually good for me to be outside).
Lovely staff and great service. The curry was huge and absolute delicious. I couldn’t finish it. Also loved all the fresh vegetables and the ability to be able to choose the level of spice to such a degree. So cute to get a paper apron so as not to spoil my clothes when slurping curry soup!One very happy customer.
After my first Soup Curry experience, I was impatient to try another one so we have been to this restaurant with a friend. Well, the soup is average or below, most of the vegetables were burnt, the chicken was tasteless and the rice (which looked very nice at first) was disappointing. Very average restaurant, pricey for the quality but the not the quantity if I have to say so
Id never had soup curry before. Its an interesting concept: soup consistency with the taste of curry. I had the lamb. It was delicious. The presentation was great too. it comes to you with all the ingredients visible on top and you can mix it up. The place is classy looking. The only thing that bothered me is how much the music did not fit the atmosphere. Im sure Japanese people tune it out, but as an English-speaker I could understand all of the songs, haha.
I liked the soup with Japanese dashi broth, but vegetables they used seems to be nothing special. I couldn’t taste the natural sweetness that I really enjoy with locally picked vegetables in Hokkaido.

Of the 50 or so soup curry places I have been to in Sapporo, it is one of the top 5.Conveniently located near the Odori subway station (and not far from the Susukino station) so it is easier to get to than the Soup Curry King main restaurant.They also sell packs of ingredients to make soup curry at home later.
