We always have lunch buffet in this place. Lots of variety of food. The food here is always fresh, high quality and lots of variety. This a great place for people who love chicken and fish.We also love ordering vegetarian samosas to go. It is so delicious. I highly recommend in ordering samosas here and having lunch here.Also a great place for take-out.

Food was great. Naan was readily available. Did not see any paneer. Mango pudding is a bit watery and not chunky like the West location - inconsistently made at this location. Service was nice with somebody watching over and refilling water.

All the dishes were quite good! All, but one, I should say. The chicken Marsala ...oh man! The sauce was amazing but the chicken!! You can definitely tell the chicken was a day old(hopefully not more) and was left out without a cover because it was hard as rocks!! You know when it’s left out and it dries up, well that’s what they put into my chicken marsala dish. Such a disappointment because everything else was so good — the naan so fresh!, the coconut rice omg the best, the butter chicken had so much chicken(good for them!!), the Palak paneer was soo soo good!......all but the day old, dry as hell chicken! So disappointed because that’s my fave dish and their sauce was so good. But if the chicken is not edible..then what’s the point. The prices were not bad! I hope they don’t raise them any time soon!

Went for Sunday lunch buffet. Food was ok. Variety was less . Tandoori chicken was mixed with freshly prepared and recooked chicken. Goat curry, mango pudding and jamun were good and tastier. Rest were ok . Not up to the expectation. Disappointed !

After non-payment for a painting contract we had with Pavitter Singh Dhillon, we will not be supporting this restaurant or Boardwalk Burgers in Sherwood Park. I placed my order through skipthedishes, however I dont feel it would be accurate and not explain.I understand I ordered at 830pm, but my Korma (rainbow veggie) was so watered down it was like, well water. Everything else was great, but im disappointed. For 17$ dish, im just disappointed. I have never had this problem with the one in the west end, its much more creamy yogurt texture there.Anyways like I said everything else was great.

I ordered an Roganjosh with Goat , and what they gave me , you can find the difference; that is definitely not goat bone at all . If you dont have goat meat at all atleast cancel the order or ask the customer for an alternative instead of playing with someones religion just for a couple of bucks.Thats not how you run a restaurant , I need an answer for this or I am gonna take this a much forward.

I come to this superb restaurant every couple of days because I enjoy the special atmosphere that is characterizes this restaurant. The team is extremely friendly and skilfull. The service is certainly rapid. Needless to say, the food they prepare is excellent. I have been there often and I was always joyful. The cost is honest. I recommend this place to to all.

After the change of owners, the food quality declined, they take away tips from their servers (do not give tips to the server as they dont get to keep any for themselves which is their hard earned money), customer service is awful. I would rather go to other locations than this one. I would give 0 stars if possible.

We love eating out. Last night we arrived in this magnificent restaurant which friends recommended to us. We passed a delightful experience there with great food and a professional stuff and an impressive cuisine. We added this fine restaurant in our phone list and we shall no doubt come back very soon. I order Indian food for the deep, rich, powerful flavors.Like others I am WILDLY & DEEPLY disappointed in the decline in quality & flavor in their dishes over time. What used to be my favorite dish- Dal Makhani- now many times has become a very bland and dull flavored dish.Equally, heat wise- its next to impossible to get actual heat in the dishes even when you choose the hottest level for spice- its still quite bland and doesnt pack a punch.Many times I have ordered here, I have been disappointed in the flavor declining and corners being cut/skipped with spices being chinced on or not carefully placed- as is to be expected with Indian food.I have begun over the last while to order from other competing Indian restaurants, because this is honestly disappointing- & given the other reviews, it seems this restaurant does NOT care about customer experience, quality foods, rich delicious spicing & flavors & other aspects.I order online always- but years ago I went in with a family member. We had a very dull & disappointing experience being served- or in our case being ignored.The inside was dingey & dark & exactly as is still being shown even years later- the owners & staff dont seem to care about the atmosphere, customer satisfaction, or even receiving customers.This is such a disappointment, because there was a point and time where the food was richly flavorful and was like a delicious spice & flavor orgasm in your mouth to enjoy.Now its like jeez, do I want to be disappointed & sad again with a dully flavored dish?.I really wish this restaurant would take this feedback seriously.If they dont start engaging this area with more care & reception & carefulness & if they continue to neglect upgrading & improving their services, staffing engagements, flavoring/spicing of dishes, & overall aesthetic inside the restaurant- they will ultimately continue to lose business & wont be able to sustain themselves.In this era where peoples money is especially tight, trust that clients will find better alternatives and options- especially when the food is priced so ridiculously high- its insulting to pay premium prices for dull & blandly spiced foods.& Equally insulting to seek out quality & reception from your company when you cant be bothered to really receive customers in earnest & with warmth.

If it wasnt for the fact that the food is still quite delicious, then this review would have easily been a one star.The state of this restaurant continues to deteriorate. My wife and I went a couple of years ago after trying out New Asian Village in Sherwood Park. New Indian Village has received a slight facelift after breaking off from the New Asian Village team. I say slight because they have their own marquis sign, the Google information is new, and thats pretty much where it stops. Their menus still say New Asian Village and so do the placards for the buffet food. We returned this past weekend and took my family out for a birthday dinner. There is no buffet yet which is perfectly understandable given the worlds current situation. We were met with a rather rude greeting to start. My wife mentioned that we had made a reservation... something that we were instructed to do on the phone several days prior. The gentleman furrowed his eyebrows and instantly just responded with a stern No without explanation or anything. Alright, thats fine considering there were only two other tables occupied at the time. No courteous greeting is a scratch off my list though. The atmosphere is dark even in comparison to the New Asian Village Sherwood Park location (which has almost the exact same decor). There were no TV sets on which is a small thing but when its this quiet in a restaurant then the TVs usually help add some sort of white noise or visual stimulation. There are chips and scratches in a lot of the walls (and not small ones either). The fabric on a lot of the chairs that I could see is becoming quote frayed and tattered. The windows were dirty. The front Specials board was just a blank white canvas... you could at least put a nice greeting or Welcome back, we are open again!... anything really. To emphasize on the darkness, there were sections inside that had no lights on at all. The buffet area and most of the bar area had no lights on whatsoever. The tone of our waiter was all around unpleasant. He tried a little more once our food arrived but prior to that it was just dull. I got the sense that he did not want to even be there. The saving grace as previously mentioned was the food. The food is at least on par with New Asian Village. This is not enough for the sake of convenience though. I will be taking my family to Sherwood Park from now on as they offer a friendly environment and the staff there are extremely kind and welcoming.

I like this place! They offer decent food, their menu is nice, The chief cook in that place is well trained, I like very much eating all their food. The dishes are consistently good, the service towards the customers is very good too. I visit often this place and I not even once was unhappy. Highly recommended.

Just ordered $80 worth of food from this place. They made us wait 30 minutes for a takeout order when the place was completely empty, as soon as we get home we notice the 2 orders of rice are missing. How can you eat butter chicken without rice?! The lady FORGOT to punch them in, and thats a no brainer. Have to drive all the way there again, no discounts or anything “Oh yeah I forgot to punch them in.” So unprofessional and incredibly ill management and lack of service skill.To top it all off, after an hour and a half of waiting to eat and starving, I find a black hair in my first bite, completely and utterly disgusted by this meal. Never to return to that location and that is an official statement. I truly advise you all to consider a different local restaurant to visit due to the lack of care and effort put out...truly a disappointment.

Food is old, the rice had a hard crust around the edge. The food smelled weird and off. I love Indian food and salivate, packing my belly to near splitting point, when I go to the south side new Asian village... everything is fresh and delicious. I though it would be similar here... nope... the benches and chairs where worn and filthy looking. I was almost too grossed out to sit. The sheer curtains look dusty and have remnants of food crust on them 🤮 the floor looked dirty... there was even a musty material smell everywhere... sht the water even tasted off. The chicken smelled off. The fruit tasted rotten, the dessert tasted like they’ve reheated it a few days in a row. None of the food really smelled appetizing. Why is this place still open?! Very disappointed. I wasted $24 😑 maybe I’ll get food poisoning and at least clear my bowels out 🤷🏻‍♀️

The buffe is always hot and fresh. It takes a bit to get some bread but theyll bring it straight to your table if you ask for your own. The staff are very polite and helpful as well as being very knowledgeable. I would definitely suggest the tea, a bit expensive for traditional chi but very good and served hot!

This restaurant is located in North East Edmonton. I have visited couple of times with my family, the buffet was not that much good. The Tandoori Chicken was very well cooked and not that much taste, it was just like the spices taste. Some of the seats were not even cleaned for years and still there is dust on it. Not very clean seats. Please make sure you clean the seat before you sit. I have literally cleaned using the paper towel myself and checked the one next to ours. The buffet is still expensive when compare to the food in South side Indian restaurants. 3.0 probably the max for them.

Now you feel like a beggar waiting for a slice.And the most disappointing part was how run down the decor has become. It used to be such a beautiful restaurant with intricate finishes and unique furniture. Now, the cushions are ripped, there are holes in the walls, dirt and grime everywhere. The only pleasant aspect was the waitress who was friendlySadly, I will not be back.

Took in the buffet on Saturday evening. Building outside and inside in desperate need of updating. Outdoor horse planter desperately needs a fresh coat of paint. Interior is dusty and dated, Booth seats were stained. Table edging had been torn away. Rugs require cleaning, Noone greeted us upon arrival, sat ourselves. Service slow and labored. Server gave impression she would have preferred to be elsewhere. Buffet choices were adequate. Food however lacked freshness. Some choices like chili chicken the added onions, peppers, etc. tasteless and limp, obviously overcooked. Our meals half completed before our Nan bread arrived. Restaurant leaves the impression that business is on the slide. With all the Indian Restaurants in Edmonton, diners would be well advised to check out alternatives.

Terrible ! Smell of dead mice around the counter where the buffet is held .They must have.a new owner , and new staff altogether .The buffet was reheated many times and it was obvious with all the lumps in every dish coming with a sauce .Only the mango and guava lassie were fine .I called the food inspector after my visit and also mentioned to the hostess my concern about the smells of the washroom as well as the unmistakable stench of dead rodents by the buffet .This restaurant used to be great 3 years ago but it’s literally losing all its stars .The place is run down . Curtains tore off , venetian blinds broken , poor lightings that makes it difficult to see the floor by the buffet’s counter .The plates , utensils were greasy ( dirty ) , the men’s washroom was looking clean but was reeking intensely so much that covering my face was necessary when I went washing my hands .Completely disgusting .
