Disgusted. Bought a Ps3 that seems to be incompatible with my TV. Took it back and was. Offered a voucher but not my money back. Scam. If they are willing to give voucher then they should be willing to give your money back. BE CAREFUL SHOPPING HERE.

Its a very good shop for used electronic devices but I gave it 3 star because of its prices. Prices are really high for second hand stuff but I must say they give u in new condition with few months warranty. You can trust them.

Just sold my nice smart phone old of 2 years but looked brand new I paid an amount of money at the time lijec€400 plus 2 years of contract 24 months bills and now got just €34 😴😔 Really embarrassing 😚I I wasnt so broke never sold that money only 😒😓

I AM GIVING THIS SHOP ZERO STARS .NEVER BUY AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE HERE.I BOUGHT A €350 SAMSUNG PAD IT BROKE IN 10 DAYS. IT HAD A 28 DAY WARRENTE. THE ,PERSON, IN CHARGE SAID ,I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THAT MY STAFF WOULD MAKE ANY ERROR , I HAVE FULL TRUST IN THEIR ABILITY SO ANY ERRORS MUST HAVE HAPPENED AFTER IT LEFT THIS SHOP, I AM NOT GOING TO DISCUSS THIS FURTHER -HE REFUSED TO ALLOW ANY FURTHER QUESTIONS REGARDING OUR NEXT OPTION.HE THEN LOCKED HIMSELF BEHIND THE COUNTER.HE WAS A RED HAIRED GUY WITH A BEARDTHEREFORE ITS NO WONDER THEY HAVE NO PHONE NUMBER AS ALL THE COMPLAINTS WOULD BLOCK THE LINE. GAMES TOO HAVE HAD THERE CODES USED RENDERING THEM USELESS. ITS A MESS. AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Good place to buy gadgets & electrical things that would go more expencive in other shops. Not to say things are cheap here, but sometimes youll get a better price. Staff are sound if in need of assistance. Word of advice if theres anything specific youre looking for & are wondering where it might be in store, check their online website 1st. They have shops all over the country, if you go in guessing you may come out disappointed & finding yourself looking in nany other stores. Save yourself the trouble & look online 1st :P

Bought my Pentax camera lens. Staff was nice and polite. It is always good to survey what you are buying beforehand both on terms of price and quality. They provide warranty for their sold stuff.

You can blink and youll miss it here, but in this tiny shop youll find a great selection of DVDs and games and a comprehensive enough range of electronics considering the space. Ive picked up computer chargers here and a spare tablet when I was stuck for an exhibition, and the location is fantastic with the staff being very helpful.

Good prices on games if you look around.

No choice at all... Everything look like was used hardly for so long. Staff is never come and ask if you need a help. You have to spend 5-10 minutes to llok for them,and when you find them usually they say i cant answer or i dont know. Thats not service we looking for. Similar stuff can buy in other shops for cheaper prices and better service.

No negotiation on prices but helpful staff who can also check the stock of their other stores in Dublin. Stock was changing over very quickly before Christmas so good things wont stick around for long!

This is not store specific, but I have been sold a laptop out of stock online. Had to wait 10 days to get my money back. Poor customer support as I had to wait days for resolution until they canceled my order informing me over email that I did it. No flexibility with delivery/ collection, couldnt change my order to different laptop as well. Overall very dissapointing experience. Store idea great, but service so poor.

Honestly the worst service I’ve had in a store. I had bought a “new” ps4 remote for 68€ and clearly after the first time using it I noticed that 3 of its buttons were rusty and getting stuck. I went back to see what options they had to offer for the problem but because they thought the remote was working fine I couldn’t get a refund or replaced which I though was appalling. Because I didn’t want a faulty remote and had no remedies left I was forced to sell it back to them for about half it’s price.

When I do choose to buy games in person, this CeX is always my first stop.Have purchased alot of older Wii games here and as always im very happy with the large selection of older console games.

Terrible customer service. Attempted to trade in old games on 17/3/18 in Westmoreland street. Female cashier was really rude, you could she just didnt want to be there. Apparently you need ID to hand in a PEGI 3 game yet for some unknown reason she refused to accept my perfectly valid card. This is the reason I probably wont be back. No doubt management will take no time at all to acknowledge my (and others) grievances. Totally unacceptable!

Great place for deals, especially if you have other items to trade in. Mobile phones and recent video games get you the best return. A random range of tech on the shelves including sd cards, lenses, ram and loads more. Theres a larger store across the river on liffey street.

I bought a game and it came broken. No problem, I understand, happens. The great thing is that was attended by roughly twice an employee who by his posture is unable to deal directly with customers. Dublin welcomes people of different nationalities, and attention and understanding should be the rule for the service. I took my voucher and never come back specifically that the CEX shop. I believe and admire the slogan of the store. This incident is a shame

Cant sell things if theyre even slightly damaged, but everything else can be sold, albeit at a fraction of the price.

Great customer service.

Charged €25 for unlocking code that should have been sent at max 3 business days. Was told email would have 3 codes and one would work. One code came and didnt work. Called all of the shops but it was the same automated system. Emailed over 24hrs ago for unlock codes and still no response. If you do not have a care team to handle this, at least have a vm system in store or accept phone calls. Been without a phone for 2 days now and was charged for unlocking. Absolutely ridiculous.
