The owner of this restaurant is incredibly rude. My partner had forgotten his mask, completely by mistake one day. We headed back to our room to get a new one and she just started shouting at him, totally accosted us out of nowhere.. Didnt even care we were heading back to get one. She could have asked politely and we would have told her but she was too busy shouting at us like a lunatic.

Food was nice but way overpriced. No unique or special qualities to justify the price. Not to mention the the hawk that is the manager. She constantly walked right behind us and viewed our food and drinks. CONSTANTLY. Then we were halted from leaving as they do not allow people to pay separately. Who doesnt allow that? Very weird restaurant. I wont return. Staff were very rude.

Must go for everyone who likes fusion food .staff could not do a better job looked after us great management should be proud

Extremely disappointed about my visit to the lemongrass today. I booked a table for myself and family at 4 o clock early bird menu as stated on the website and I have been so many times in the past. When we arrived at restaurant we were brought to the table and giving a cocktail and dinner menu. I asked for the early bird menu but was told by waitress that they no longer did an early menue??? I was shocked as it states on the website that the early bird menu starts at 4 . She said that managementsaid that they are currently reviewing the early bird menu and it was not available. Waitress was sorry but that was that. I was in a position that I had promised my son to finish off our summer holidays that we would bring him. A table of eight beside us hear us and told us that the exact thing had just happened to them and they were fuming. I asked for the manager but no one came down. We ended up been offered a lunch menu instead so had food from a plastic box. The food was lovely and service was good but I felt that the greed from the owners just left a soar taste in my mouth. I have been a customer for many years had communions confirmations and other special events there but this has left me mad. If I was dressed up on a night out which I have been many times I would not mind paying full dinner price but we were early with children around as u would expect at that time. I understand that they might be trying to make up money after shut down but what about your customers 🤔 maybe they are only getting back on their feet and getting back to work and decided to have an early dinner as a family treat. It just felt like greed to me.Sandra

Not great experience with the waiter after spending almost €450 on valentines day refusing to put balloons on our table saying its not for taking home i find it disrespectful and discriminatory. but the food was great

One of the nicest restaurants Ive been in last few months. Really great atmosphere. As non drinker I got proper pint of alcohol free beer whitch is very rare these days. Food was amazing too. Prices are great. Also staff deserves 5 stars. Really helpful and polite. Will definitely come back there for any occasion.

The Lemongrass Restaurant is located within the grounds of the Citywest Hotel & Conference Centre, Saggart; Co Dublin. It is a fusion of Asian Thai food - the restaurant itself is very busy, and it would be recommended that you book in advance, especially Thursday - Sunday! There are a variety of menu selections from lunch, early bird, a la carte - they even have a good choice for those watching their calories! The menus themselves offer a great choice of food - beef, chicken, fish, vegetarian - all cooked to whatever way you like. They also have an extensive drinks menu - you will be spoilt for choice. The food itself tastes fabulous... the staff are very pleasant and attentive. They are a very family friendly restaurant - kids are most definitely welcome. There is also free wifi and great onsite parking. The Lemongrass also provides a take-out order service.. for those who just want to stay home, but want to indulge in good food. The only disappointment would be cleanliness of the toilet facilities - these would need to be checked more regularly and kept cleaner, especially the female facilities. All in all - a nice place to eat out in South County Dublin.

Always Excellent, We go here regularly because the quality of the food and the service is consistently excellent. The Staff are always professional, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the product they are selling.They seem happy in their work and this creates a really good atmosphere surprisingly i find this to be very rare these days . We will be back again and again.

Wonderful restraunt. Food is always delicious and very generous portions. Good mix of simple and plain right up to complex dish, so should suit fussy eaters to the discerning foodie. I would recommend that you get a side of fire potatoes. Never had any thing like it in any other restraunt. They also have a low calorie menu for when your looking for something lighter.

Good asian cusine. I had 3 courses and a whiskey and I spent 50€, which I think its fair.The food was good, fresh fish and nice balanced flavours, not too many sauces. The service was ok and the restaurant is well designed although the ceiling is a little bit low increasing the noise level when the restaurant is full.

Food is always excellent, great parking, plenty of seating, decor very nice good standard. Great lunch and early bird options. Staff always very pleasant. Unfortunately prawn crackers not complementary. Take away food can be slow, so allow for a wait at the weekends due to popularity highly recommend

As an avid Lemongrass supporter over the years and a lover of Thai food, we had a disappointing experience in Citywest last night. Meals were well presented but mediocre. Duck pancakes were mainly crispy fat and house red merlot was awful. Not our usual experience there but all of us (5) left feeling underwhelmed overall to say the least.

Food is very average and one of the waiters was not very friendly.

Green curry is fantastic...

Had a bad experience with one the managers had brought my daughter for confirmation party spent 500 euros the manager declined to put balloons on our table thought we didnt deserve this service and told me balloons are not for taking home which I found very offensive and discriminatory just imagine it is valentines day .though the food was good but the service was poor.

As a person who has spent most of his time in the catering industry I can honestly say that it was the best in every way. Fabulous friendly service, exceptional food and even though it was very busy it was perfectly timed. The menu was exciting and they have a great range of drinks to choose from too. Cant wait to get back again.

We normally get take away from here instead of sit in. Its flawless. Its an 11 kilometre drive for me, (22 klm round trip), but well worth it. Very tasty and plentiful. Order early cos its always busy. And the staff are friendly. Way better than MSG riddled Chinese muck.

Called in here for lunch while at an Expo in Citywest (queues there were huge). No wait for a table, lovely relaxed atmosphere even with the open kitchen setting. Had a lamb curry and it was delicious and full of flavour. My colleagues had two different salmon dishes and both were equally happy. Highly recommend.

Myself and my partner had lunch here today around half 1 with our 3 children and we were very impressed. The initial girl who took our order seemed irritated that we asked for orange cordial for our toddler instead of blackcurrant which I found quite rude but the service from 2nd girl more than made up for it. She had a long plait down her back and she went above and beyond for us, she was so kind to my son I really appreciated her and her efforts she was absolutely brilliant. The food was beautiful too, as was the atmosphere and price point. We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back.

Very tasty Asian fusion food. Good selection on the menu, the only reason I am rating as 3 is because of the outlandish prices. These might be excused in the more expensive city centre rent zones but no excuse when it is so far outside of the city.

Not somewhere youd find by accident but just wow! Service was incredibly slick but still friendly, got the order spot on, everything arrived the same time and the bill was correct, despite being a table of over 30! As for the food, mind blown! Completely different dish to anything Ive had before and probably one of the tastiest! Reasonably priced too considering the quality. To top it all off, they serve Erdinger alcohol free beer which is my absolute favourite (so great if youre the designated driver!).

This is a top restaurant with some of the best Asian food open kitchen where you can watch your meal being prepared. A nice selection of drinks and cocktails in a very comfortable environment the staff a very good pleasant and helpful give it a go you won’t be disappointed

Its been a long time since I first visited The Lemongrass at Citywest but am pleased to say that the service hasnt changed and the menu still has a superb variety...something for everyone! Great buzzy atmosphere.

Had a lovely dinner there. The food is very high quality and tastes excellent. Had probably the best satay chicken ever. Also had Thai green chicken. It was the best too. Even their simple assorted ice creams uses quality ingredients includes an incredible rich hot chocolate sauce. The surrounds are comfortable and tasteful and the staff are friendly and helpful.

To provide a wide range of Asian food, this is another example of restaurant serving frozen spring rolls.Just remove spring rolls from the menu !.. However, typical Chinese food is good but pricey . The menu is relatively poor vs the a la carte.Venue is enjoyable though

I recently had a staff conference at the citywest hotel and we ate lunch at the lemongrass restaurant. The food was delicious. It all came out together in a box. Spring roll Starter with chili dip and chicken curry and rice. Delicious!

We were so furtunate to try Lemongrass while passing through Saggart. The service was fast and friendly, the food excellent and the menu extensive. I had the Green Udon and it was superb. Well worth the visit.

Smartly designed modern restaurant with open kitchen. Service is quick and food of good quality,. Vegan options available. A little pricey, but well worth it.

Food is top notch. Had the Korean wings and vegetable pancakes for starters very tasty The beef garlic and King prawns for main again lovely to finish the Eton mess. Well worth a visit.

Went here with friends for dinner, where do I begin...I was the first to arrive from my party and even though I had a table booked I was told it would be an hour. When I explained I had a table booked she told me I didnt and when she looked again she saw that I did it fact have a table. It wasnt ready and when she showed me to it there wasnt enough settings for all of us. When I said explained this to her she said Ill just add another to the end. The table was not big enough for this so we where all bunched in together and it was uncomfortable.When the rest of my party arrived. The hostess pointed in my general direction and was so rude. Basically said I was over there, find her yourself kinda thing.The waitress after being told twice got our order wrong. The food was really only ok.Overall such a bad experience and will NEVER go here again.

Lemongrass is a beautiful restraunt and I would highly recommend it to anyone. With its delicious food ( not to mention the amazing selection and great prices!) and welcoming staff this restraunt is highly recommended. The selection of food is fab with things from fried chicken to prawns and rice you didnt even know existed. Staff are really friendly and helpful with a wonderful work ethic. Very clean and warm and perfect for a family dinner. 5 star!

On Thursday I went for a company Christmas dinner at this restaurant I asked for the gluten and dairy free options which according to them they have but it’s NOT TRUE! I asked the waitress to confirm it and she said that my food was gluten and dairy free but it wasn’t and I felt very very bad, plus the waitress was shouting CELIAAAAAC just to bring me my food, the only words she had to say was gluten and dairy free. Plus from my company HR dpt called to the restaurant and they didn’t even replied. I DO NOT recommend this restaurant AT ALL to anybody that has intolerances to certain food or is celiac. Very bad service.
