A good restaurant for Turkish cuisine. Very spacious interior whick gives a luxurious look. Dishes are also very tasty. But staffs are not so friendly. They act as if theyre so busy even when theres no one in the restaurant.

We liked the ambiance very much. Clean, neat, fresh, family themed.The food we ordered Chicken barbeque, Shawarmas, Lamb chops were OK, but not as expected as other Istanbul restaurants we tasted.Prices are reasonable.Family cubicles with privacy curtains are available.Wash room and Toilets are clean. Friendly staffs. Ample parking.

Food is extremely delicious .Their staff are always great.The interior is very cozy. Don’t miss having Turkish mixed Grills with freshly made coftas, Kabab and bread with Turkish appetisers.

We went to Royal Istanbul in Salwa road for Iftar and was served a Buffet menu with a variety of traditional Turkish dishes. This is not a meal to be rushed, enjoy each course at your own time. Delicious, and the friendly staff, contributed to making this a very special evening.

Good place for Turkish cuisine. Loved their Breakfast. They serve all kind of delicious cheese for breakfast plate with Borek which is made of thin sheets of dough, filled with cheese, minced meat and vegetables, wrapped and baked and also you cant forget the famous Turkish coffee.

I ordered 3 boneless chicken meals via Talabat app, and then I called the restaurant to confirm receipt of the order without bone.After nearly an hour I got the order, but the chicken was with the bone and without the garlic sauce.I called the restaurant to inform them that the request had not arrived as I had requested, but their response was very rude over the phone and the employee told me (you should call Talabat and not talk to me) so I asked to speak to the restaurant manager, but he refused and hung up.I spoke to Talabat company and they apologized for what the restaurant employee did, and they promised me to solve the problem and replace the order. After about 15 minutes, the driver of Talabat company arrived to take the wrong order to replace it, and after about 45 minutes I received the new order, not surprised that it is the same old order without any change.

Mutton Bukhari and Majboos Mutton was nice. Mix grill was awesome. Only thing I missed is Dandy Laban. Also .appreciate if you keep Dandy Bon Bon Ice cream.

A cozy place for relishing Turkish food. I am vegetarian and find this place to serve a variety of veg options. From Mezzeh to pizza to fatayer to rice, I loved everything. The restaurant is spacious for big groups and also covered spaces for privacy. They serve fresh juices as well. But the only drawback with it is, even if you ask for juice in room temperature (no cold) it comes cold cold. Other than that everything is super awesome here.

The food was good, taste was ok, but not wow, plus the chicken grill for some reason in entire Doha doesn’t seem to me fresh, there is this weird smell to it, I believe it’s because everyone uses frozen chicken and not freshly slaughtered. So girl chicken was good but not fresh. I think if restaurants start to offer fresh chicken they will automatically gain mileage over the rest of competition in town.Rest everything was nice, especially the hummus. Would recommend to friends for sure upon my next visit to Doha.

The food was very good - mix grill n Arabian mezze. Juices was good. Only problem is they decide what you should eat. You may have ordered dishes but they tend to forget what you have ordered!!! The staff are too busy to give any attention n you may have to wait for a looooonnnggg time twiddling your thumbs. Avoidable.

The food is just amazing. The bread is very soft and warm always. They replace the bread if its been there for a while. The appetizer plate is the best. It is not costly, very pocket friendly.

Good food and good service. If you are a vegetarian, this place isnt for you as you have no major Arabic/Turkish vegetarian options such as foul or felafels. Decent non vegetarian options and great setting. Private rooms for families available of you like.

In children it is famous for its variety of Pizzas, but fun is to eat in or in your car if we bring at home its taste will be less.At every evening, it is crowded and have to park your car for a long distance.In Qatar road parking is not allowed so have to walk to reach the restaurant. But public do it because of its standard Food.

Weve eaten three times at Royal Istanbul- Salwa road a authentic Turkish restaurant in Qatar, and have had exceptionally good meals each time. My favorite dish is the Mix Grill. The menu is very diverse, they have good Arabic dishes as well and the service is always good and welcoming.

You expect less as there are so many Turkish restaurants in Doha. The service is not bad, food is amazingly tasty, variety of things to order including deserts. Shawarma is done in a different way, try it by yourself. Good for singles and families, amazing place to spend time.

Good place with authentic Turkish cuisine. The atmosphere is nice and staffs are very friendly. They have seating on ground floor and first floor. There’s plenty of space and it’s a good place to hang out as a group.Tried there grilled chicken once and it was delicious. Then tried their weekdays buffet of 32 riyals per head and it’s very nice. There’s a variety of appetizers, bread, grilled chicken, chicken salona, spinach with meat, 2 or 3 types of rice dish, 2 desserts.I would give 5 star but there was an appetizer made of tomato I think matbucha, was spoiled. I informed the staff and they removed it immediately. But I think it was already spoiled before they served it because it was lunch time and in a short period of time I don’t think the food will get spoiled that much.Anyways very nice place to have Turkish food. Will definitely visit again especially for their weekdays buffet.

The Royal Istanbul restaurant has a very good ambience with real good food and very courteous staff. If you are looking for a Family of Friends get together then this place is best for a long and relaxed dine in. Specially their traditional chared shawarma is awesome
