I ordered one full bbq . But was not ready as told over the phoneWhen I came to collect the ordered item , the counter guy is behaving indifferently . Its an perfect choice to eat yummy arabian dishes like shawarma, appetizers, grilled chicken, buhari rice etc. In an affordable price. Friendly Staffs and clean dining area.

Two hot felafels crushed in soft round bread with little salad and tahini makes the best sandwich in Qatar. I just love eating the same over and over again. Almost every day I used to buy one, a single falafel sandwich can fuel me half a day. sometimes non-arab staff used to make the same but it tastes different and I just dont like that. About the parking part in Al Naser street is very hard to find no matter what time you go. I recommend petra to keep staff outside just like they do in Al Shafi Street.

By far my favorite shawerma place. Ive been buying shawerma sandwiches from Petra for last night 8 years! Very reasonably priced good food. They have several branches spread out across Doha and have quite a selection of mainly Arabic food. Their shawermas are famous for the unique type of bread they use.

Cheap and best falafels

I have been going to Petra restaurant from my childhood ( different branches). Probably my favourite place to get Arabic food. Must try the shawarmas ( meat and chicken), which they keep on pita bread along with a sesame seed paste. Loved the filafels and filafel sandwich. The beshamel is lovely, tastes amazing. Must try their koshary ( very beautifully prepared). They also have a wide range of grilled meat and barbecues. The taste is absolutely wonderful and the smell is divine. The price is extremely reasonable ( with little money you get a LOT of items). I tend to get my stomach upset after eating outside but never in my 10 years of going to Petra have I had my stomach upset. Give this place a try guys, it’s worth it.

They keep rotating staff between the branches. Today is 16/2/2018 and the staff here served me cold chips with a barely warm shwarma on a dirty plate. I am a regular here - this bunch of staff dont care about the customers or the business.

I cant say that they have the best Shawarma in Doha but they have their best falafel sandwich in Qatar.I usually try the falafel sandwich and occasionally try the liver sandwich too. Price is very cheap and the satisfaction is great. Imagine their falafel is only Qar 4 and more than enough to fill your Tommy.Very busy areas where the parking is a slight issue and on weekends is a nightmare.Service is very fast and hence place is not unnecessarily crowded.
