I visited Digha in this running week and booked a executive room in Hotel Dolphin .. The room was almost similar to a suit .. it was good in location wise.. sea beach is located only 3-4 minutes walking distance from hotel..Hotel is good because of its cleanness ...Every stuff is well behaved and well mannered ... Food is also very good in quality ,quantity and price wise..I am satisfied for their service ...Thanks a ton for team Dolphin ..

Staying with dolphin in digha in last week was great. Location is superb. Walking distance from old digha sea beach. Area is peaceful. Property is very good with clean and comfortable rooms, restaurant with delicious food, though little costly. Staffs are very friendly. We met the owner in the lawn playing with their kid. Overall it was a great experience staying with dolphin.

My favorite hotel in old Digha is Dolphin. The beach is very close to the hotel. Suitable garden for children to play. The rooms are quite nice. The quality of the food is better.

We had booked a Fully Air-conditioned Villa at Hotel Dophin, Digha (Yashoda group of hotels) having a outdoor sitting room over looking the plush green Lawn, am air conditioned Dining room with ample seating connecting the 4 rooms, WiFi, Private Garden, Parking, round the clock room service (Provided by Bapi, a very efficient staff, who was at call when ever we need him, from breakfast to coffee to every thing).It was a good experience except for a few glitches we faced,Of th 4 rooms, two were master bed rooms fully equipped with All the basic amenities like Wardrobe, TV, etc...How ever 1 room on the 1st floor was very small, it lacked a Wardrobe...And the last room on the ground floor, did not have a Wardrobe or Television. (It was not a major issue... as tv was not a priority).The Villa does have WiFi... but no Internet...Cellular connectivity is not good after the various natural disaster and storm (2020-2021)...Power failure is common, specially at nights... however they do have power back up it starts within 5 to 15 minutes of power failure.Do carry emergency torch, if your phone does not have flash light...Specially important when we are sharing ghost stores at night... and suddenly the lights go off... I know this cause it happened with us...We had a good scare... it was fun...The staff behavior and service was excellent 👌The infrastructure could use an uplift (Internet service... intercom telephone (no intercom, do save the service guys and reception numbers).Of every thing... many hotels including this one does not allow outside food even in the rooms/villa... this is beyond any logic, there are speciality delecasy not available at the hotels (like Local cuisine of famous street food) and due to pandemic and night time restrictions this particular rule of no outside food is the only thing non of us liked... as do many other guests... anyway...Have a look at 360 pics and video I have uploaded...Do visit, do try the villa...Its been a good stay... overall.. we did enjoy.We thank the hotel promoters and the staff for there standard of service, better than most.

I stayed last week in deluxe AC room and also had family members staying in non AC eco and AC Eco room. Beach is 2-3 min walking.Overall stay was good but a couple of issues were there. Rooms werent very well maintained, paint chipping away, stained bathroom fittings, AC Remote not working, Stained floor carpet and sofa covers. Apart from these the room service wasnt that great, delayed orders, had to call multiple times for a cup of tea. Food was real bad like really really bad..moreover their staff keep pushing you to place the order through them repeatedly and do not have clear knowledge of the food. We asked for veg items and asked to prepare w/o onion garlic and they said everything had onion garlic at first even shukto. Calling the restaurant manager we got to know that thats not the case. One of the staff fed us onion garlic dal fry despite asking and confirming repeatedly that it be veg. The taste isnt great either. They served hard inedible aloo parathas. The restaurant is being repaired currently and the arrangement they have for dining now is filthy, tissues on the floor, half lemon pieces lying , dirty tables, plates having stains and what not. Hygiene is a big issue.On the bright side staffs do wear masks and get themselves tested frequently. They are compliant with covid protocol to a good extent. Front desk is helpful as well as some staffs. I might stay here again but Id probably skip the food.

Excellent stay. I had been in a deluxe A C room...rooms are good. Staffs are really helpful and ready to serve. Food is really good. Very hygienically wrapped and served. Beach is just a walkable distance. Really enjoyed a lot. Good property in old digha. Very decent. And the lawn is really good for the kids.

This is a good hotel for family persons who like to stay in peaceful area. This hotel has an huge garden where many jhaulas are their and anyone can play like football nd other family games

Hotel dolphin is a good hotel for stay of tourists. It is situated at gobindabasan, barrister coloy, old digha, purba medinipur district, west bengal. Old digha sea beach is about one minute walking distance from here, biswa bangla gate is about 8 minute walking distace from here. It is above average. Restaurant is there. There is lawn in the hotel. You can enjoy there, but there is no sea view room. Tariff varies according to the season or date almost in all hotels in digha.

We had booked two executive rooms. Rooms were quite spacious and clean with all the facilities like minibar, bathtub, attached balcony.Location is very good, 300 meter from beach. Room service is also very good, food quality is also good specially dry chilli chicken. Special mention of Mr. Anath for his well behaviour and service.

Ground floor room was damp. 1st floor room was good.

Location is good...only 3-4 minutes walking distance from beach... accomodation is good within reasonable price...food is also very good at reasonable price...and the behaviour of the staff are very nice...in two words... highly recommended.

Good n comfortable stay,2 minutes walking distance from new Beach.Wifi is unstable, disconnected every 5 min.Restaurant is closed for renovation,But fooding is available at Room.

I booked this hotel for two days from their online site, although they first gave me the rooms in a floor which was under construction, but on requesting for a better and quiet environment they shifted us to another floor. Despite this construction issue overall service was good, especially the room service. Perks of staying here- Each room has its own balcony and you can access the lawn as well. And its quite near to the sea as well.

Location of the hotel is somewhat good but not great. The ambience is very good along with courteous staffs especially Sekhar da, he is too good and humble. Facilities are okay, we booked the executive room which is the topmost of their lot but there was no internet on their wifi. Foods are very good especially the chicken and paneer items.

Such a clean and beautiful hotel at very low/affordable price (we got it for 700 Rs/- per night).Hotel staffs are very well behaved.. service is also good. Room s are good but somehow overpriced.They have very basic amenities. They are charging 2500/- per room per day but they dont have any electric kettle in room.Food is extremely good and very good ambiance. If you visit with family, this is one of the best option...

I felt very bad for the poor rabbits kept in a very small and dirty cage. I tried to tell the staff also, but they said who will do it, as long as the smell doesnt come out, they are happy. Sick mentality selfish human beings. You have a big garden, try to make such arrangements, so that they can be kept in a open space. Why to torture them?(To the owner/manager,Think, if you are in their place, how would you feel?) If your business slows down because of your karma, no one to blame but yourself for your bad deeds.

PROS:Reception is helpful. A guy called Malay helped me to book for my family when I was abroad.Responsive and helpful.CONS:1. Room service is very poor. Need to call them for daily maintenance like trash cleaning, Sweeping and bathroom cleaning.2. Though Villa Rooms are newly built, water stagnation issue is in washroom.3. Online payment didnt work. Sent booking amount through NEFT to some other account.4. The pedestrian path to get in and out is not properly built, so our aged members faced issues.

Poor Room Service, AC remote, not working. Manager is not paying attention to the complaints. May be staff behaviour was very good earlier as it seems from other comments, but I faced a very disappointing behaviour from some of their staffs from reception. They are not even bothered now in losing any customer due to their rude behaviour.

We have stayed here for 3 nights. The person who was taking care of the room service is Mr Sekhar Das. We have got prompt service from him and his behaviour is also nice.Overall our experience is good.

Rooms and surroundings are clean. Hotel staffs and the Manager are helpful and co-operative.. but need to maintain some things, like bathroom accessories and room accessories and electrical items.. Executive rooms are large in size, but ac and TV are not working properly in every rooms.. in this pandemic situations, they are not provide blankets. Quite proper sanitize the rooms.. Driver rooms are available there.. and obviously near to sea beach but not near to the main market, which we like the most..Food is also quite good..In all aspects, we like and recommend this hotel..

I got a cottage room. Per night room price was Rs 3000 which was very expensive. Room was very clean. But mosquito was there. So hotlier provided us with all out machine. Couple have to be very carefull because of curtain as there is garden infront of cottage and one can peep from outside through curtain. Hotel services was very good.

To begin with this was one of the best till sometime back. Only plus now, is excellent room service. Hotel needs maintenance very badly. The usp of kids garden has gone for a toss due to non maintenance. Sparks in cottage brought to notice but not resolved. An arrogant manager who does not even have the courtesy to smile ar guests. The hotel is well overpriced at current standing and seems to be sliding in popularity it once had.
