Excellent bar, excellent environment, Excellent service, you can enjoy with reasonable price.

One of the best places in Dhaka to chill and have a nice evening. The live music could be a little less loud though.

I have visited this place while I stayed at Hotel 71. I wanted to have Bangladeshi food with alcohol, but alcoholic drinks were not offered at the restaurant in the hotel. So I visited here. But my hope could not come true.It was the first time for me to visit Bangladesh. So I wanted to try Bangladeshi beers such as Forsters or Hunter.But what they offered me was Cuss, Korean beer. I have asked the staffs about Bangladeshi beer several times. But they told me that they didnt have the ones. I was so sad and wondered why I had have Korean beer in Bangladesh.According to its website, it says you have full access to our Swadhika restaurant menu (10% SC applicable). But this was not true. They could offered me only some. And the food they offered me was not Bangladeshi food, I think it was Chinese food. Why did I have to eat Chinese food in Bangladesh?? Of course, I also asked the staffs whether they could offer Bangladeshi food or not. Then they answered me that they could not offer because it was the bar.So, as my suggestions to this bar...1. Theyd better have Bangladeshi beer and food.2. Paper-based Menu should be prepared. Because it is difficult for person, who is not good at speaking English, to have an English conversation in English in that loud & noisy place. And of course, the staffs have Bangladeshi accent in their English speaking.Therefore, I have to rate low.

Had a very good time at the bar! The staff is very nice and very Professional. Also the live music was great. Thanks to the cashier Ashraful and the nice people who are working for the Gentlemans Rest Bar

Great environment, no one bothers you, the ambiance is calm and soothing and the bartenders are all very polite as well as the owner himself. The place is smoke friendly as well

Interesting experience. Drinks are cheaper if you sit at the bar. Can get hunter beer for 300 and there is often live music

Great place, bar service was good too, but I heard about this place by searching for cheap alcohol and the prices are similar to Amaris so I traveled quite far just to pay the same price I would pay at a high-end hotel. Unfortunate, but otherwise, great experience.

1* to 4 * im fillling bad how woner/management so nice..they replied me with warmly invite to go back. I got surprised. So i decided going back.i really love your place. But please no mistake about food .ahad really niceBartender..look like he doesnt have any power to tell chefs food was not ok.he was trying to clean fish i ordered 3 time.any way see u guys soon.ThanksHasan mahmud babuFinally i visited 71 bar...exactly what I wanted i got it...thanks to manager of bar....so nice also recommended food i try was fabulous...this man work so hard for this bar i can tell his aggressiveness.
