If anyone is mentally sick or has family problem she/he shouldnt work in the hot line department.Today I called to the hotline at this institute and a lady named Diana picked my call. She has absolutely no manner and doesnt know how to talk with people. I believe this lady is doing the same with everyone and ruining the reputation of the entire Goethe institution in Dhaka.

The one and only german official language Institute. Having good facilities but limited seat for study and exam.

Attended a seminar in their auditorium which is not so big but has good arrangements to hold seminars and conferences. The place has maintained a good level of security .

They are very unresponsive. I have been emailing and calling them since February. The mobile numbers they provided in the tnt voice call (which I have memorised unintentionally because of how many times I called them) are switched off. So I texted them and guess what? No response! I even knocked them on Facebook and Instagram after I saw a reply on a 1 star review to do so. They post pictures and stories and create events but dont respond to messages at all. I dont know how people even get admitted here with such terrible service. I wish there was a way to post 0 star because I am at my wits end. I see more responses on bad reviews here. How ironic! Maybe this ugly truth will finally earn me their valuable time.

It is the best German language institutions in Bangladesh

The best thing about this place is also the best thing you can find in this town. Unless youre not interested in German literature, like me, you should visit the rooftop cafeteria. Its so peaceful under the open sky. Food is above average compared to the place but youll love it. Smoking is allowed in this place, just be sensitive to the non-smokers. Parking is a concern since all vehicles must be parked on the road. I simply visit there to have some quite time.

Great place to learn German language academically for professional and personal life. There are varieties of modules and 3 semesters. These courses are very useful for students who would like to get higher degrees from Germany. A1 A2 A3 and A4 are the courses. But staffs and lectures are not very friendly I found some of them very racist.

I went there few times as they often organise cultural/educational events. As a power wheelchair user I found no ramp from platform to first floor, there is a one step stair, so I need help on this. Also there is no lift so other than the first auditorium I cant access upper floors and the rooftop which is very disappointing.

The place is really good to learn German Language. The teaching method is excellent with a friendly and peaceful environment. The library is quite enriched with good reads. There is a rooftop restaurant also to enjoy freetime.

Goethe Institute operates by German Embassy Dhaka. This one of the most trustable place to learn German language. There is a big library in this place , a lot of books available here. They also consult students for higher study in German institution. Overall all its a great cultural institution.

Me and my wife enrolled there to learn German but has to discontinue due to two major setbacks, 1) they dont have any cafeterier and we and everybody has to go out in the street for a refreshment-which is unhealthy and 2) there is no child corner so we have to leave our children insecured for 6 hours...if there is a snaks corner and provision of a child corner in the library or elsewhere we can continue the course...the positive sides are friendly teachers and good class rooms.

Extremely unhelpful stuff. Almost never replies to the queries on their official Facebook page or emails. Personnel in charge of answering customer service phone calls is extremely rude . Treats you like a prisoner during the exam .

I am a 14 year old studying German under PASCH in ESS, made possible only by Goethe Institut. This is the best place to learn german and Goethe Institut has many facilites. Every year students receive offers for camp abroad. This January I was selected for a camp in India organised by Goethe Institut Delhi after I recieved a half scholarship. I study French also for 3 years in Alliançe Français de Dhaka but I never received any oppurtunity like I am getting here in Goethe. My friend has also gone to Germany FOR FREE SCHOLARSHIP. Goethe Institut is truly a wonderful place. They also hold many events for students studying under PASCH like films, workshops etc. This is undoubtedly the best place to learn German.
