Food is yummy, but price is high!

The medium prawn bhuna, chitol fish cake, bhortas were really very good. Service from the waiters are good as well. The ambiance is very old because its a very old restaurant of Dhaka City.

I heard a lot about Kasturi hotel & restaurant located close to purana polton mor on Syed nazrul Islam sharani. The restaurant itself is located on the 1st floor. On first impression its spacious and clean. All the servers were wearing clean uniforms. We ordered our desired dishes and I was amazed by the taste of their vhorta dishes. We ordered chingri and shol bhorta, chicken curry, dal, and 🐟 fish cultlet. We enjoyed all their dishes thoroughly and our added bonus was the friendly personally of the MD of Kasturi Mr. Kawsar. He was great with my son and offered complementary food for them. I am great full to him his gracious attitude. I wish him all the best.

Its foods are delicious but price is little high. The environment of the restaurant is also charming.

Quality and environment is nice and cozy. Just like it was 10 years back when i visited last. Well the waiters are impatient. They need to work on their approach and behavior. Liked the crazy young!! Boss with tolls of music under his arms.

Its a traditional restaurant serving authentic bangladeshi meals. You will find bhaat (boiled rice) with traditional bharta bhaji and bangladeshi curry.

If you want to take fresh food then this hotel should be in your list. They prepare very few food items but they are fresh and testy. If you talk about the price i think its not high compare to its food quality. In this new normal situation they maintain safety and keep social distence. They provide take away service.

I went there for the first time...it is indeed a quality Bengali food restaurant. The চিতল কোপ্তা is really special... A must try item.The bhorta quantity is tiny... the pudding and firni seems to me very expensive. Overall the prices are high. There cleanliness and service is good.The restaurant is situated in a commercial zone... Thus the prices are high. Wish they reduce a little.

One of the best places to go for authentic Bangla food! I love the flavors at Kasturi, the staffs are friendly and helpful. Being Bangladeshi, I like the fact that the food is absolutely authentic and healthy (not submerged in loads and loads of oil like other places). Fish dishes are sumptuous. You wont be disappointed, your stomach will be happy and your wallet will be empty. (Slightly over-priced). Nice interior, well-lit room and the spacious entrance makes the place different.
